The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

What has he said about a conclusion that there was a “minor” breach of the rules? After all, Dom didn’t receive a fine from the same force after his eyesight testing drive was deemed a “minor” breach of the rules. If I remember correctly he called for Dom to be fired despite not receiving a fine. -

🤣🤣🤣 Tell me it’s an act, you’re not really like this in real life. The Durham police waited until after polling had closed to announce they were re-investigating, it’s why Starmer wouldn’t answer the bird from sky when he knew full well they were. “On Friday” -

This doesn’t make sense. If he thinks he should be number 1, what has McCarthy staying got to do with whether he stays or goes. Unless you’re trying to say the offer was to be number 2 to McCarthy. Fucking hell, if that’s the case we really have lost the plot. -
I’ve deducted Lawrie a few dozen points for having Shilts, KK, Bally and Steve Williams. Turns out he wasn’t much better than Branfoot.

What about “sacked in the morning”, perhaps they were singing it towards the bloke putting the substitutions on the screen. Not my gut feeling, what I witnessed during, after and in the local pubs on the way home, the away support turned against him Saturday. No doubt about it.
-
How many points are you deducting Koeman for having VvD, Mane, Jose Fonte & Pelle?
-
Probably more points than Yoshida & Stephens, who were the pairing when the moaners wanted to watch the Southampton Globe trotters.

1992 & 2010 were noddy competitions. But yeah, I should have written “in living memory”.

Starmer claimed they carried on working after the food, Dan Hodges claim he’s spoken to a witness who was at beergate. “ I asked my source if it was true that after the curry had been delivered, Starmer and his team went back to work. ‘Of course not,’ the source said.” Starmer also claimed his hotel didn’t provide food and that’s why they eat at beer gate, again proved to be untrue. They claimed Raynor wasn’t there, she was. Again untrue. Boris’ team had after work drinks and food and lied about it. Starmer had after works drinks and food and then lied about it. The only difference is in your response to it. In Dec you called for Boris to resign, long before the police fined him. Yet you’re now claiming we need to wait for the police to conclude their investigations. You’re all over the place. -
Absolutely nobody has said he’s a lost messiah, you just made that up. All people are pointing out is that he lost his job having had a better season than Ralph has. If Ralph got us to 8th and a final, some of his fan club would be wanting a statue erected. I’ve seen far far worse performances under Ralph than I ever saw under Claude. The facts are in one season he became one of three men to take us to a cup final, finished higher than all but a handful of our managers and defeated probably the biggest European team we’ve ever beaten. One season….He deserved another one, I’m not sure Ralph does.

We’ll see. -
For all his critics I don’t recall our supporters singing “you don’t know what you’re doing” to Puel. They might not have liked what he was doing, but he had coherent tactical knowledge. Whilst 0-0 home games may have defined Puel, bringing OR on when he did yesterday just about summed up clueless Ralph. It was a genuine collective WTAF from most of the away end.

What a load of old pony. The great lady started the politicalisation of the civil service and machinery of Government , before Blair took it to another level. If you think it all started under Boris you’ve had your head in the sand. What was the WMD timescale, 45 minutes wasnt it? They’re all as bad as each other and have been for 40+ years. Who was it who said “the problem with elections is the Government always gets in”. They’re all fucking liars, the only difference is some get caught and some don’t. -
Sad news for us oldies, brilliant in The Sweeney & Minder and was pretty decent on New Tricks. Iconic TV characters

Starmer (and you) called for Boris to resign before the police had decided rules were broken. Yet now you want us to wait for them to decide before condemning Starmer and calling for his resignation. -

People are now seeing what a pious Hypocrite Sir Kier Starmer is. It’s also laughable that people are moaning about a political witch-hunt from pro Tory press. & MPs putting pressure on Durham police. That’s exactly what it is, and was exactly what the opposition and some papers did to the met. You get lefties like Soggy who were calling for Boris to go before the Met issued any fines, now stating we should wait until Durham police finish their investigation. You can’t have it both ways. It’s all pathetic, nobody should resign or be fined retrospectively for Boris’ shindigs and nobody should resign or be retrospectively fined for Starmers beer gate. However, some people want their “side” treated differently than the other. -
Spurs just made the Liverpool game a whole lot easier. They could be 6 points behind city by that night, and played in the cup final a few days before. With the league most probably gone I can see a few changes to their line up that night. It’ll still be tough, but not as tough. I can see us nicking a point.

Our support was excellent today.

Fucking bloke gives it all large when we win, but skulked off the tunnel today. Should have been a man and acknowledged those of us that traveled today.

Do you think Starmer should resign? After all you called for Boris to do so prior to him receiving any fines. I’m fact you called for him to resign before the police had even investigated. Now the police are investigating Sir Kier I presume you think he should go. -

The alternative disenfranchises large areas of the country. London, Manchester and other population areas will dominate politics even more than they do now. More areas of the country thought a Tory would represent their area better than any other party. But that’s just my opinion, and there’s a legitimate debate to be had. But, the Lib Dems had an opportunity to change our system, but decided ministerial limos were more important. They’ve spent all my adult life wanting to hold the balance of power & through it changing the system. When they did, they bent over and let the Tories shaft them with a referendum on a ridiculous version of PR that never had a hope in hell of winning. -

You don’t half come out with some old pony. FPTP doesn’t benefit the Tories any more than it benefits Labour. In fact it takes on average less votes to elect a labour MP than a Tory one (although the Tories winning in the red wall and losing some of their traditional heartlands, together with boundary changes have reduced this somewhat). FPTP favours both big parties equally. Instead of blaming the system, try and understand that the reason we have a Tory PM, is because more people wanted to be represented by a Tory MP than any other party. -
Fucking hell. As a fellow Poole based supporter I’m embarrassed for him. WTF is he doing at the game, and why on Earth would you even be on the pitch, let alone propose on it. Clearly pussy whipped. Mind you he’s a referee, so clearly a bit simple.
