Oh god, there’s another one.
-
Why wouldn’t they understand it? Not that it’ll stop people moaning. They now have to decide if they think it’s handball or not.
-
A referee in our game thought Bertrand’s hands were in an unnatural position. Another referee in a different game thought Kante was so close to the player crossing the ball that he didn’t think it was handball. Two different referees, two different games, two different outcomes, given for two different reasons, one halfwit. This Ryan Bertrand incident has clearly got to you, maybe you should write to the FA and ask them to implement “Ryan’s law” . VAR’s are to watch this horrendous miscarriage of justice and judge any subsequent handball on that basis.

The difference is we were average last season. When there wasn’t Covid, we were fucking woeful.
-
Every subjective decision is an opinion. This was the explanation given. “The referee Graham Scott gave a penalty on the field believing the Southampton defender’s arm was raised in an unnatural position and blocked a shot at goal, with the VAR deeming the decision not a clear error.” Stop crying about it, & man up.

Are you really this dim, or is it an act. It’s the referees opinion whether it’s handball or not. Just as it’s the referees opinion whether a attempted tackle is a foul. The alternative is that every time the ball hits a players arm it’s handball, regardless of whether it was intended or accidental (like they do with legs in hockey). Once you take into account position of arm, closeness to player or whether there was a deflection, it then becomes the referees opinion. And unbelievably, different people will have different opinions. It’s really not hard to understand, I’m surprised you’re struggling with it.

In response the bloke just appointed by The Commission to oversee vaccinations, Thierry Breton said “No single country can have an autonomous vaccination strategy”.

Dear god. How do you explain Jamie Carraghar, a die hard biased Liverpudlian saying he didn’t think it was a pen? Here’s what happened, the referee in our game thought it was a pen, and a different referee, refereeing a different game, didn’t think a different incident was a pen. In both cases another referee reviewed it, and didn’t think there was an error. It’s not cheating or a conspiracy, it’s an opinion.

What do you want officials to do, refer back to the Ryan Bertrand handball and then judge subsequent ones against that. To have consistency, you have to have defending handballs ruled the same as attacking handballs, that is, hits hand it’s a handball. We had one like that earlier against Fulham , and we had more moaning and fucking groaning on social media about that. Referees have always been inconsistent as they’re different people, who see things differently. You do realise VAR stands for video assistant referee, therefore nobody is “using it”?

Even Carraghar said it would have been a harsh decision. What do people want, every time the ball hits the arm it’s a free kick, or the ref & VAR deciding if “in their opinion” it’s handball. For all your moaning, you can’t have it both ways.

What if the official thought it was offside, but VAR shows it was onside?
-
Makes me laugh. If we were level on points with Fulham I reckon most people would be looking at the fixtures picking out 3 or 4 wins, and a couple of draws.

In that case I need to get my jab before the ale house re opens.

Lemina handball. Cheers Mario

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

Do 2 European campaigns, 4 top 8 finishes and a cup final, count. Or are they a gross misrepresentation of her ownership? -
What are you on about? This year their record is. LLLWLWLWDLWL The lost to Burnley, before beating us, and then lost to West Ham. Since. Cash got injured they’ve lost to Leicester, beaten Leeds and lost to Sheffield Utd. Is this some sort of “ look how difficult injuries are, so lay off Ralph” line?
-
Why, because we face one of the worst teams in Premier league history after they actually won a game, with 10 men, 2 days after we last played. Fuck me, we’re soooo unlucky...
-
Struggling? They won one and lost one, anyone would think they’d drawn one and lost 7. They beat Leeds without him. The team that stuffed us a few days before.
-
That’s how to fucking defend. Bottle, resilience, mental toughness. I hope our soft arsed fairies were watching. Fuck me, Carney again. Off button now....

Down to 10, Jagielka off. He’s about 48 but they’re struggling for bodies back there, so good news if he’s missing sat

Same in Dorset. Lots 55-60’s I know have had their jabs. Poole & Bournemouth still getting through the 60+ but other areas flying through it. I’m actually surprised there hasn’t been more push back . Probably coming along the track, as pretty soon they’ll be poor urban areas with high risk folk still to be vaccinated and middle class 45 year olds getting theirs in the sticks.

Not true, he’s nowhere near the level long was under Koeman (neither is long, but that wasn’t your point). He’s average, but gives us something different.
