Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
Lord Duckhunter replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
One of the biggest turn round I’ve seen in 45 years of watching. Never in a million years did I think he’d make it here. Couldn’t head the bloody thing despite being so tall and moved like a statue. Commanding now, and has got a lovely ping. Still a doubt about his lack of pace, but his positional play is covering it up well. Long May it continue. -
Rudiger, Clattenberg and the incident involving JRod, all 3 alleged incidents but weren’t. Soggy would have abandoned all 3 games, what a clown.
-
He did.
-
Patrice Evra was raving about him pre match, but what does he know compared to you.

God, hope the club didn’t hear it. They’ll be bringing out “Winners 12/13 Dec 2020 weekend” tee shirts -
We did before we joined the glorious union.
-
Without the glorious EU we’d have kids up chimneys, people working 18 hour days before licking road clean, and families living in a hole in the ground covered by a piece of tarpolin, yet you try and tell the leavers that... and they won't believe ya

No, whole day was good natured. Stewarding was relaxed and friendly. We wandered in, got a coffee, stood around in concourse and then made our way to seats. I didn’t see any issues at all, far better than I’d imagined it would be. Maybe lack of alcohol helped, but everyone behaved and respectful of restrictions. -
I had mine checked at purple. The Stewards were great, it was an extremely well organised system and all in all it was a good natured day imo.

Good stuff. Look a very confident slick side. Walcott, KWP, Adams all excellent, but everyone contributed. They were so poor, result never in doubt. Wilder must be under pressure and wouldn’t surprise me if they pulled the plug. Off the pitch, organisation was great, well handled, with a special mention for the stewards. They were friendly & extremely professional. Obviously not as good experience as a full stadium after chucking a load of ale down my neck, but pretty damn good in the circumstances. -
You should have put money on it, or maybe a charity bet with a remainer.
-
Course you didn’t .
-
Because they were remainers.
-
Nobody is crying over it, merely pointing out that the EU are going back on what was on offer. Obviously you only want people posting inconsistencies in Boris’ many pronouncements, and don’t want to see your beloved EU portrayed in the same light. Having spent 4 years crying over the result of the referendum I’d use different words next time you’re allowed to post.
-
They won’t need to if he runs down his contract.

I’ve had an email confirming I’ve completed the questionnaire, however the other 3 lads haven’t, despite completing it. I was the only one who received the initial email with the tickets attached (head of bubble I guess), so don’t know if the confirmation email applies to us all, or just me. Is anyone else in same situation

Talking about things said earlier in the process, what happened to Barnier‘s slide? Wasn’t it showing us Brexiters the options and giving us a dose of reality.
-
All we want is what other sovereign countries have. It maybe what Australia have or it maybe what Canada have, but it won’t be what Norway have. For people who are meant to be the most highly educated and intelligent members of society, you remainers don’t seem to understand. Do you really think rehashing the same old pony endlessly will change anyone’s mind. Do you honestly believe being condescending and arrogant over and over again will win the country over to your cause. Everything the EU & Remainers have done since the referendum has cemented the leave mentality in this country. There’s a reason rejoining the EU won’t be in the labour manifesto in 2024, because they know they’ll get slaughtered again. I hope you and your like continue in the same way because you’re ensuing we will never rejoin.
-
And you live by EU good, UK bad.
-
What a load of old pony.
-
No I did not. You’re making things up.
-
It’s been clear from day one that the only thing the EU want out of this negotiation is to put other countries off leaving. If we thrive out of it, the whole thing will collapse as country after country follow suit. It’s not about what’s best for the population of Europe, but what best stops another country leaving. If we’d never been in the EU they would have offered us a deal vastly different to the one that they’re proposing at the moment. I reckon if we leave the transition on Australian terms, opinion poll after opinion poll will blame The Little Europeans, and polls will also give Boris a boost.

Oh dear, looks like two of the worst Covid Harpies have been suspended. Poor Beff & Burley, shame Bunter Boulton wasn’t invited to the bash, Sky News might start becoming watchable again.

You can’t have a pop at the club for that. Imagine the stick they’d get if a reporter got in under a false ID and had arrived from a tier 3 area. I’m sure one of the governments terms for allowing fans back in was that clubs know exactly who they’re letting in, where they come from, their Covid status & how to contact them.
