You must be related to him.

To be fair to Hamilton, none of us Whiteys know what it’s like to be a black millionaire in Monaco. Every day must be a struggle for him.

Feeling rough this morning. Better than expected atmosphere in the pub, sat on a large table with 2 other couples & drinks were brought over. Once I broke the seal the queues for the toilets was annoying, but other than that was ok. Snap dragon not keen on new set up as she couldn’t wander round gossiping with other tables. Better than nothing I suppose, but the lack of live music was the killer for me. Weather didn’t help as nobody could sit out front. My nipper went round a few boozers with his mates and they had no problem getting in any and he said there was pretty much zero checking on whether people were in same household. A few were closed, and it appears the ones closed were mainly the managed houses the tenancy and free houses were the ones opening. Heard both Wetherspoons were quiet, so perhaps the piss artists have seen how cheap supermarket booze is. Anyone else go out?

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. A poll tax is levied as a fixed sum on every liable individual. There you go again, if it’s as good as you make out, everyone will pay a subscription, so what’s your problem,. Of course, YOU want the tv poll tax to remain, because YOU think it’s good value. I think the Spectator is great value for money. I think people should pay a poll tax to fund it, even if they only read the Guardian. Think of all the great articles they could write & all the correspondents they could send round the world. In return for the tax revenues they could have a charter making them legally be balanced & neutral. Don’t you think the print industry needs an impartial source of news and current affairs?

That’s the one. The one with the fist used by the group BLM.

Maguire & the keeper again. Roy Keane will be going apoplectic.

I know a member of the coaching staff & he told me Ibe was far and away the most skilful player he’s seen in training, he just couldn’t produce it on match day.

So why does the badge on the kit show group’s logo, note the black fist. A ‘reasonably intelligent’ person would not call this a coincidence.

He wouldn’t be able to handle the Milfs that sniff round us, they’d eat him alive.

First time I’ve watched them at home without a stupid bell ringing. Highlights or live, it’s constant. Far better tonight.

You really don’t get it do you? I couldn’t care less whether it had exactly the same views as me, whether Newsnight was hosted by Nigel Farage & Rod Liddle. It’s the principle of paying a poll tax regardless whether you watch it or not, I object to. Its website crosses into areas that should be left to the commercial sector, it’s local radio kills commercial radio and its tv arm chase ratings. There isn’t much it does that isn’t available elsewhere.

Snap. I started off with some micro casts from Wandsworth, Horizon, then 6X, good value about £3 a pint. But couldn’t keep them cellar temperature. The nearest was the downstairs loo but the snap dragon was kicking off, so I tried brewdog. Really got into them, kids even got me loads of different variety for Father’s Day. I hadn’t previously liked them too much, but have found them by far and away the best tasting bottle or can. Really looking forward to some Tanglefoot at weekend. Landlord has messaged me saying it’ll be another 4 weeks before he’s selling it, but the smiley face afterwards indicates a wind up (at least I hope so anyway). Not sure about this table lark. I stand in my corner of the bar, with the landlord & a couple of others. Having to sit down with the snap dragons gonna be a nightmare. Especially with no live music drowning her out....

God, I nearly throw up my lunch. Article about them in the Telegraph. Lots about Westwood, including pictures without his “clothes” on. Looks like his Grindar profile. Sickening sucking up to them. One supporter saying Dulwich Hamlet aren’t a real team, because their support is too middle class, and Westwood won’t be watching, he’ll be banging his drum in his mates garden. Tellingly, their most famous supporter wants them to lose, on the basis he can’t be there. Selfish twat. “We are in the play-offs and, if I’m honest, I don’t want Pompey to go up,” says Westwood, clad head to toe in his Portsmouth-themed clothes and tattoos. He arrived at the ground in his Portsmouth-decorated car. “It isn’t right. It wouldn’t feel right. I wouldn’t be able to tell my grandkids that I saw Pompey get promoted. Football for me is about the moments. I have to be there in the moment”

What are you on about? This has nothing to do with whether the BBC make anyone look good or bad. It’s 2020, people shouldn’t have to pay a poll tax regardless of whether they watch the BBC or not. The biggest cheerleaders for saying how valuable the bbc is, or what a bargain it is, are the ones that don’t want that tested. It’s simple, if it’s as good as you make out, if it’s such great value, everybody will pay a subscription for it. It acts like a commercial media conglomerate, it should be subject to the same commercial pressures as everyone else.

So who is going to the ale house tomorrow? I’ve got my table booked, who else will be venturing out? After months of lockdown our pubs are finally reopening . No music, no live bands and no standing at the bar. Will it be the same, when you can’t really socialise, or will it be a washout. The great British pub is one of mans finest achievements, but I’m worried this sterile cafe type arrangement will see the slow death of this great institution. I’d be interested in people’s thoughts pre and then post visit. Not whether they should open, there’s a coronavirus thread for that. But what was the atmosphere like, would you go again, was it better being table service only (my snap dragon reckons it will be). Will this finally kill the local boozer.

That’ll depend on whether Jose is still there and if so, what influence over transfers he has. History tells us, he couldn’t care less about age or injury record, just whether someone can do the business for a couple of years. Long shot, but if they sold Kane & on the back of that gave Jose the money to reinvest as he wanted, I’d be worried. Luckily, Levy isn’t the type to do that. Leicester to replace Vardy would be my bet , IF he goes anywhere.

Name one broadcasting organisation that puts people in jail for not paying for it, regardless whether they watch it or not. Boomers like you need to get your head out of the sand & try and realise it’s 2020, not 1955. There’s no place in the modern world for a state broadcaster. As soon as the licence fee is decriminalised the whole things going to fall apart.

This is exactly what it is. Politicians particularly, should have known exactly who these people are and what they represent, Nigel told them at the very beginning. Perhaps next time they’ll be more forensic and won’t have to issue ‘clarifications’.
