Redmond is embarrassing himself now
-
we might be able to limit them to 5, they’ve only got 10 men
-
I hope the managers got into them at half time, but I somehow doubt it. Probably given them a cuddle as the little darlings are upset. It’s all right crying because we beat Liverpool (as did Brighton & Burnley), but there’s a few of us fucking crying now.

Spot on. Bunch of fannys. JWP runs round like a choir boy and he’s supposed to be the skipper. Not enough men, and the senior pros show exactly why they’re not at top clubs.
-
Ings keeps giving it away
-
Because JWP positional play at full back cost us against Villa.
-
Ings should have buried one of those chances, and the game changes
-
Fucking Stephens should have finished that sitter.
-
It was stephens fault, he should have shown for the pass, and then ran quicker to get on the end of Ings’ miscontrol
-
I know stephens is the scapegoat, but blaming him for the goal is fucking ridiculous
-
Bednarek fails to make a tackle, and it’s Stephens fault?

What was

God, and there’s a bird.

No he didn’t.

99% of neutrals couldn’t give a shiny shite whether he dived against Southampton, whether it’s 6-0, 12-0 or 0-0. You’re deluding yourself.

Going to the ale house and standing at the bar.

Are Arsenal a big club?

I thought about demanding a written apology every time Shane long missed a chance, but then I thought about my poor postman’s workload and gave up on the idea.

Every single thread about VAR always ends up with the same call, that it’s only horrendous errors that are overruled and that there should be some sort of cricket style “umpires call”. That’s what happened here, VAR decided it wasn’t a clear and obvious error, so didn’t ask him the review the decision. It doesn’t mean VAR didn’t think it wasn’t a pen, it’s that he didn’t think it was a clear and obvious error. Had Dean not given it , I doubt he’d have told him to review it either. The fuck up is entirely Mike Dean’s, not VAR, had he not given it and waited to see if VAR thought it a clear and obvious error, he went the other way. I suspect at 6-0 most referees would have turned a blind eye, but that’s Dean for you. He likes to “see” things mere mortals miss.

Correct. Some of the people on here need to have a word with themselves. It was a young man who let the situation get the better of him, he was probably hyped up too much, wanted to impose himself early, and there was probably a little bit of fear in there (sometimes players go over the top to protect themselves). In the cold light of day it seems unfathomable, but these things happen (look at Gazza in the cup final and he was an experienced pro). He deserves some clog, and I hope a couple of the older pros dug him out, but give him a break. Hopefully, he’ll learn from it and come back a better player. He showed the tiny glimpse of a player against Villa, let’s not kill him before his careers even started.

Mike Dean - Can anyone remember him giving us a 50/50 decision ?

It was a joke, Nobody thinks he’s celebrating a goal. -

I think he’s a spurs fan -
Dean also made the TV sign before showing the red. I’m pretty sure the TV sign isn’t made if the refs original decision stands. Maybe wrong, but if not, this backs up the theory that the monitor was used for red card decision only.
