If Pep decided DI was his top target to reclaim the title do people really think Ings would say” no, I’m happy here”. Players that actually served in the wars and lost friends and relatives never had them sawn into their kits, so I don’t know why modern players need to. I’d much rather the country looked after its veterans a bit better, than indulging in witch-hunt’s as to who does and doesn’t wear one. We went to City twice afterwards & did ok, but Everton the next home game we were woeful. I did think Ralph was on borrowed time after that. Arsenal away and the 2 relegation home games after that turned it round (although Watford first half wasn’t great). Everyone has come out of this well and deserves credit. Finished ‘undercover’ last night and unlike most Netflix series’ actually had a decent ending. Well worth watching, certainly far far better than ‘White lines’. Second series coming, so I’ll keep an eye out for that.
