  1. Do you think that Dom would visit his family if he thought for one minute he’d put them at risk? Wake up and smell the coffee, we’ve been had. It’s all about saving face now. Some of us realised a few weeks back, when will it dawn on you? The draconian lockdown will save a minimal amount of Covid deaths, whilst bringing in a decade of misery. 3. The fact that 3 of them have now been caught, just goes to show they never really believed it made much of a difference anyway.
  4. So asked to prove Gove said 60mil Turks “to settle” (your words) in the uk. You post a link that Gove said IF Turkey join the EU then they’ll have the right to settle in the uk. Completely different things. Post me a link in which Gove says 60mil Turks will settle in the UK. Or did you just make that up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Please point me in the direction of Gove saying 60 mil Turks will come to the uk if turkey joins the EU. I’d hate to think you just made it up. You must have it to hand, as you knew he said it near the end of the campaign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  8. Do you really believe Kinnock or Dom thought either set of parents were at risk? Of course not, they wouldn’t have visited them if that was the case. All the “I’m not allowed to see my parents” brigade are sheep, plain and simple. My grandchildren come round every Saturday, sit in the front garden a couple of meters apart from each other (3 separate families) and we have a cup of tea/beer and a catch up. It upsets the snap dragon that she can’t play with the kids or cuddle her grown up children, but at least we get to see them, hear their voices, and have a laugh together. We stay “alert” in case the virus runs 2 meters across the grass and attacks us. Pretty sure my sons wouldn’t do this if they thought it put their mother & me at risk. 9. I’m with Dame Margaret Beckett when it comes to this, “Brexit trumps bad behaviour”. Boris can chuck Dom under a bus next year, but we need him in place to stiffen the sinews of the pinko, until we depart in Dec. With him, Ferguson & the sweaty, why aren’t people drawing the obvious conclusion. It’s not that they think they’re above the guidelines , it’s that they don’t really believe it makes a blind bit of difference. If Dom thought visiting his parents put them at risk, he wouldn’t have done it. Had Ferguson thought his German floozy was being put at risk, he wouldn’t have done so. It dawned on some of us weeks ago that the Government over reacted, slowly but surely it’ll start to sink in to others. With sensible measures, you should of been able to visit your parents, should be able to bone your mistress, or visit your second home. I honestly believe the Government set more draconian measures than were needed because they didn’t trust the British people to adopt sensible measures. Sensible measure which meant we could have all acted like the 3 amigos. It’s funny how every time the Government needs something to happen, certain exemptions are produced. Football gets exceptions, fruit pickers flown in won’t need to be quarantined, oh you can visit your parents in certain circumstances, what’s the betting private jet passengers will have different regulations than Easy jet or Ryan air? We’re being taken for mugs because nobody will turn round and admit millions of us have been locked away, billions of pounds added to the national debt, for measures that in the grand scheme of things didn’t make any difference to the death rate at all. 13. I see that right on woke leftie Coogan has furloughed his Gardener & housekeeper. Typical, is that really what this scheme was designed to do, save millionaires a few quid. No doubt the lefties on here will be defending him.
  14. I actually knew Brian Tiler & he was a decent man. My dad was heavily involved with a charity & Brian used to be incredibly supportive, attending events & making donations. It was very sad when he passed & im sure Redknapp has been affected badly by it for many years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Interesting that someone else is in the same boat as me regarding their staff . 3 of us voluntarily kept working, whilst the other 7 were furloughed. They then un furloughed anyone who wasn’t in the most vulnerable group, but crucially didn’t ask for any evidence, so only another 2 came back. The next round of furlough they decided that only people that produced a government, hospital or doc shielding letter for them,or someone they live with, will be furloughed. None of the letters have been forthcoming, but loads of excuses have been. Gradually, they’ve all come back to work, despite (in their words) being “at risk”, and they’re all full of tales of how they’ve slipped through the net regarding shielding letters. They’re also all full of tales regarding the fun they’ve had during lockdown, the gardens they’ve tidied up, painting they’ve done, & time they’ve rediscovered the enjoyment of family life. Yes, we volunteered to work, but there’s a definite wedge between the 2 groups. It’s not driven by the volunteers thinking they’re better than the rest or “braver”, it’s just the attitude the furloughed workers have displayed since returning. Only 1 person is anal about the PPE/ social distancing rules at work, the others aren’t,clearly showing some just treated it as one long holiday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. What’s killing me is remoaners going on about “bad faith”, as if Grocer Heath, Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown, & Cameron were totally up front about our deals and relationships with Europe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Maybe I’m missing something, but I assumed everyone realises Boris signed a withdrawal agreement. It was ratified by Parliament in January Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The only thing they can have shown bad faith towards is the PD, because the WD was watertight. I believe there was some pony around the PD being the basis of the future agreement. If the UK have shown “bad faith” and gone back on vast swaths of that, then perhaps the EU aren’t as skilled negotiators as the remoaners led us to believe. Perhaps they shouldn’t have signed up to something Boris could go back on. Perhaps they’ll learn a lesson for when the next nation leaves Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  21. Exactly. He was ****ing woeful at West Ham. He’s doing well in France, great, good for him, but we play in England. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. And you had to watch it before that dawned on you? What did you think it would be, an in-depth look at European architecture & culture from middle aged me who want to broaden their horizons after retirement? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Just because you’re scared half to death, doesn’t mean everyone else has to be. I walked the dog on sandbanks beach Sat & Bournemouth beach Sun. everybody I saw was acting in a perfectly reasonable way. We’re breeding a nation of do gooders, Lockdown Mary Whitehouses pointing their fingers at the great unwashed, overcome by moral outrage. The British people have taken the closing of their pubs & social life pretty damn well, they’ve “saved” the NHS from toppling over, they don’t need the self righteous constantly telling them to hide under their beds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Not true though. The chumps that wanted to stop it, split the 48% They had one chance, & they blew it. Should have voted Mays turd through, they’ve handed us a proper Brexit & I for one am extremely grateful, for ultimately, it was the Benn’s, Grievence & Soubry’s of the world that ensured we got there in the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Rubbish. The British people would never accept leaving, but retaining FOM. Therefore unless The EU dropped one of the founding principles, it was never a goer. We saw what happened when labour went into an election contemplating keeping it. The ERG accounted for about 25% of the votes in the HoC max. we could have had a May BRINO, but the Remainers thought they could stop it altogether. If I was you, it would be them I’m angry with, not the ERG. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
