I didn’t say you that you didn’t want people to stay at home, you do. The Government, however, do not. They had to change the “stay home” message, because basically, they didn’t want people to “stay home”. It’s not that hard to understand. What would you say if their message was “stay home, go to work”, I’m sure the “I don’t understand” gang would have a field day. There’s not much wrong with the messaging. Personally, I’d have gone with “be sensible” rather than “stay alert”, but people are deliberately being obtuse. They can’t write guidelines for every scenario known to man, nor would I want them to. We don’t need nannying. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Keep “stay at home”, even though you don’t want people to do so. Yeah, great plan. That won’t confuse people, will it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It is perfectly clear what the message is. It’s just people pretending they don’t understand it to either, moan about the Government, or do their own damn thing. If you gave people £100 to explain the new guidelines, 99.9% of the population would be able to. Only a half wit would think dropping the “stay at home” bit equates to ending lockdown, and anyone who thinks social distancing has ended, needs to be sectioned. They’re clearly incapable of understanding basic instructions. **** me, do we need to wet nurse everyone? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What’s your threshold for commenting. Does knowing someone with mild symptoms allow a comment, maybe they could be limited to number of words. Knowing someone asymptomatic- 25 words Mild symptoms-50 words Severe symptoms- 100 words Etc etc. Presumably I’m allowed to comment, having lost someone, so I’ll answer the guys question. The ONS quote 92% of all victims had an underlying health condition, and they put up this on their website. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If anyone is brainwashed, it’s the people who somehow seem to believe that the EU is an open, tolerant, benevolent organisation. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter now, it’s a settled issue. “ The British people decided, we’re out”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d imagine they’ll be a whitewash. Some establishment figure will throw a couple of nobodies under a bus. If I was to bet on it, I’d imagine it’ll eventually dawn on the great unwashed that there was an overreaction & the damage to the economy wasn’t worth the amount of lives saved. However, everybody from the civil service to the Government & via the opposition have a vested interest in justifying the severe lockdown, so this won’t be spelt out in stark terms. Why will this be any different than any other enquiry, they always get away with it. Anyone hoping The Tories & Boris will face a day of reckoning, is going to be severely disappointed. Where did I say there was going to be a massive revival, all I was pointing out was it is possible for an independent country to have a fishing industry. The UK Government in charge of UK fishing, it’s not really that unusual you know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Believe it or not, i haven’t really got any influence, it’s not really my job to hold politicians to account. It is Sir Kier Starmers & if the Tories were in charge of Welsh health & social care he would be doing so in Wales as well as England. Surely Welsh voters deserve that, after all he’s their voice in the UK Parliament. If it was my job, I’d like to think I’d be above the petty party politics Sir Kier Starmer is indulging in, but we’ll never know. One thing we will know is how this will play in Wales at the next election. Look what happened when Labour took Scottish voters for granted, and then look at Welsh voting trends. Spot on. The stuff coming out of the club may not of been 100% the truth, but neither is Fonte’s version imo. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wow, how did we ever manage to have a fishing industry before we joined the EU. The little EU’rs really are headbangers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’m interested in facts. Did labour promise 9k tests a day? Have they met that target? Do they test people living in care homes with less than 50 residents? Until recently were they still chucking people out of hospitals into care homes, without testing them? Did they tell people in North Wales to call 111 if they felt ill? Does 111 exist in north wales? Sir Starmer obviously feels like you, that the extra 1k deaths in welsh care homes compared to last year is “meh”. Who cares about them? No political capital to gain. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Bit of a mess is an understatement. I was reading today that test results take a day longer in Wales because the Labour Government refuse to use an English lab. They’ve set a target of 9,000 tests a day, but are averaging 700. They advised people in North Wales to call 111, despite the fact no such service exists in north wales . Sir Starmer & his cronies in the press have been critical of PHE sending people to care homes without testing, yet in Wales labour only stopped doing this on April 23rd. Even now, only people in care homes of over 50 are being tested. Of course not a peep from Sir Starmer over this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting article in The Mail online about the Welsh health & social care response to Covid, which of course is devolved & run by Welsh Labour. Let’s hope Sir Kier is “ forensic” when asking Mark Drakeford about those failings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

One thing that has always puzzled me is the TV revenue angle. Surely it’s within the wisdom of someone to do a deal & ensure clubs won’t pay a penny back in the event of no restart. My understanding is the deal runs until end of ‘22. Say for argument’s sake that there’s 25% of tv games for this season left. Negotiate adding another year on the end of that contract, taking into account the 25% left, plus a goodwill bonus. Ie, give them the ‘23 season for half the price they’re paying for a season on average . Throw in a few other incentives like reducing the number of times they have to show clubs, & maybe some leeway on kick off times ( TV games sat 3pm for example), and I’m sure there’s a deal to be done. This season is probably one of the worst for TV companies, with no title excitement at all. More big clubs on, when there is a race, & half price extra season must be appealing to them. Or am I missing something. Over the long term clubs will lose out slightly, but that can be worked into budgets. One thing for sure, once the risk of paying money back now is gone, the momentum will go out of returning. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

White lines looks promising. Only watched the first episode, but the bird from Coronation street runs some sort of sex parties, whilst her ex, played by Daniel Mays, runs drugs. Some fit young thing is investigating her brothers death. Promising, but these things often tail off into soppy right on pony. Promising though. I actually watched Millionaire this week, Clarkson is quite good. It’s certain better than the dogs breakfast they made of beat the chasers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Don’t talk rubbish man. Spurs & Everton are bigger clubs, with bigger grounds, bigger fan base, bigger ambitions & 2 of the best managers of the past 20 years. I reckon every one of our players would move there for exactly the same money as they’re on now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
