  1. It’s load of old pony unless you factor in the long term consequences for mental and physical well being that’ll follow the upcoming depression. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Course it is. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. What a load of old pony. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. They’ll be even angrier once the furlough scheme is wound up & hundreds of thousands of them are chucked out of work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Certainly looking a good bet at the moment. Timings couldn’t be better for him. Spending the money is the easy bit, so getting out of number 11 before we start paying it back is a good career move. Brexit being done by then will also benefit him. I can’t see Boris lasting the full term after this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I haven’t defended him at all. Pointing out the press wetting their knickers over breaches of regulations, whilst breaking those regulations. Pointing out the irony of an ex Government advisor whose dodgy behaviour was far worse than driving to Durham, being held up as some sort of authority on morals, is not defending him. I said at the start, I’m taking Dame Margaret Beckett approach. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. That’s ok then. Campbell can comment because his dodgy behaviour only involved an illegal war. Had he driven across the country to see his parents during lockdown, he couldn’t, You’re consistent, I’ll give you that. Consistent in your inconsistency. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. They’ll be dozens and dozens of them, including solid Tories like Bill Cash & Steve Baker. Dom upset a hell of a lot of his own side (including our Nigel) during the referendum. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Gove said that if Turkey joined the EU, then 77 million Turks would have the right to settle in the UK. You claimed he said that 60mil would do so. You’re now claiming that although you were wrong, and just made up the quote, it was ok because you were merely proving Gove is a liar. Can you not see the irony in making something up, to prove someone else is untrustworthy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. To be fair, he should do. He’s first hand knowledge of Government advisors causing excess deaths. Next up, Keith Richards on avoiding drugs during lockdown. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. The point I’m trying to make is you made it up. Gove didn’t say 60mil Turks to settle in UK. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Exactly. March 29th, a few weeks back. Before it dawned on me, thanks for confirming my point. When will it dawn on you, probably when it comes out in the inquiry. Makes me laugh that people post how incompetent the Government is, what **** ups they are, then blindly follow their advice to the letter, whilst criticising others that have started thinking for themselves. 13. Here’s Dom arriving home, and facing the media. A media that have spent all day stressing how important the lockdown rules are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, agreed. Pelle, Mane, VvD, Bertrand, reckless spending from Reed. Appalling management, 6th, 7th, 8th, ****ing hopeless. Way below where we should be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The bit about Forster is scrapping the barrel a bit. Surely someone wanting to buy him is good news. I reckon you could substitute the name Southampton for about 10 other clubs at the moment, which begs the question, who exactly is going to buy Redmond, McCarthy and Prowse in the present climate. And Ings’ injury record may put people off in a cautious climate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Do you think that Dom would visit his family if he thought for one minute he’d put them at risk? Wake up and smell the coffee, we’ve been had. It’s all about saving face now. Some of us realised a few weeks back, when will it dawn on you? The draconian lockdown will save a minimal amount of Covid deaths, whilst bringing in a decade of misery. 17. Writes the Corbyn defender. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. The fact that 3 of them have now been caught, just goes to show they never really believed it made much of a difference anyway.
  19. So asked to prove Gove said 60mil Turks “to settle” (your words) in the uk. You post a link that Gove said IF Turkey join the EU then they’ll have the right to settle in the uk. Completely different things. Post me a link in which Gove says 60mil Turks will settle in the UK. Or did you just make that up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Please point me in the direction of Gove saying 60 mil Turks will come to the uk if turkey joins the EU. I’d hate to think you just made it up. You must have it to hand, as you knew he said it near the end of the campaign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Where did Gove say 60 million Turks were going to settle in uk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. He’s Boris’ Alister Campbell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Do you really believe Kinnock or Dom thought either set of parents were at risk? Of course not, they wouldn’t have visited them if that was the case. All the “I’m not allowed to see my parents” brigade are sheep, plain and simple. My grandchildren come round every Saturday, sit in the front garden a couple of meters apart from each other (3 separate families) and we have a cup of tea/beer and a catch up. It upsets the snap dragon that she can’t play with the kids or cuddle her grown up children, but at least we get to see them, hear their voices, and have a laugh together. We stay “alert” in case the virus runs 2 meters across the grass and attacks us. Pretty sure my sons wouldn’t do this if they thought it put their mother & me at risk. 24. I’m with Dame Margaret Beckett when it comes to this, “Brexit trumps bad behaviour”. Boris can chuck Dom under a bus next year, but we need him in place to stiffen the sinews of the pinko, until we depart in Dec. With him, Ferguson & the sweaty, why aren’t people drawing the obvious conclusion. It’s not that they think they’re above the guidelines , it’s that they don’t really believe it makes a blind bit of difference. If Dom thought visiting his parents put them at risk, he wouldn’t have done it. Had Ferguson thought his German floozy was being put at risk, he wouldn’t have done so. It dawned on some of us weeks ago that the Government over reacted, slowly but surely it’ll start to sink in to others. With sensible measures, you should of been able to visit your parents, should be able to bone your mistress, or visit your second home. I honestly believe the Government set more draconian measures than were needed because they didn’t trust the British people to adopt sensible measures. Sensible measure which meant we could have all acted like the 3 amigos. It’s funny how every time the Government needs something to happen, certain exemptions are produced. Football gets exceptions, fruit pickers flown in won’t need to be quarantined, oh you can visit your parents in certain circumstances, what’s the betting private jet passengers will have different regulations than Easy jet or Ryan air? We’re being taken for mugs because nobody will turn round and admit millions of us have been locked away, billions of pounds added to the national debt, for measures that in the grand scheme of things didn’t make any difference to the death rate at all.
