“Unbelievable” is good on Netflix, watched it the past 3 days. It’s about a bird that gets raped & two dinosaur detectives don’t believe her. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This is one of many issues with the self employed. I was listening to Mike Graham’s show this morning and they had some bird going through it, it is incredibly complicated. She described it as whack a mole. When the Government box away one issue, another one pops up. Someone earning 4K a year cutting people’s hair thought she didn’t have to declare it. Wrong, she did. In the Government’s eyes she earns £0. My brother in law is minted, but through various accounting methods and cash in hand, only takes 20k a year in “wages”. To most reasonable people he should receive 80% of that, however that’ll be a massive drop in his income. To be fair, he won’t be moaning, but they’ll be plenty that will be, especially blokes earning 30k and declaring 20k. Unlike my brother in law they’re not rich and they’re living month to month. It’s unbelievably hard for the Government to address these people. What can they do, take people’s word for it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Charlie Austin - Sold to West Brom - 4M
Lord Duckhunter replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
What a ****ing cockwomble. “Austin also revealed that he attended last week’s Cheltenham Festival, where he suspects he contracted the virus, and has been self-isolating from his family since Sunday. The forward also criticised football’s slow response to the outbreak.” He can go to Cheltenham, but football was too slow to react. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

What a weird post. The situation now is entirely different than when I posting glad tidings that the swamp was drained. Today, I couldn’t give a shiny ****e about who is or isn’t in Parliament, couldn’t care less whether we’re in or out of the EU, couldn’t care if Saints are relegated or Portsmouth are crowned champions of Europe season after season. All I care about is my friends & family and the millions of my fellow citizens who are facing a horror completely beyond their comprehension. When this is over, I doubt there’ll be one forum member who hasn’t lost a friend, neighbour or relative. In the middle of all that, to whine about not saying a proper goodbye to their buddies, is hardly comparable to posting about trivial things in normal times. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If everyone was as selfish as your mates, there wouldn’t be any bed space. The beds will be full up with people wanting to bag a bed whilst they’re available. Perhaps your mates could get down the local hospital early doors and put their towels on the spare beds. Don’t your idiot mates understand that there are “normal” winter illness’ that require beds now. If people can avoid needing beds for Coronavirus until the summer, they’d be less strain on the NHS as the “normal” winter crisis will have eased. People are going to die of preventable illness’ because selfish people want to “catch” the virus early. The last bit doesn’t make sense. Why self isolate after recovering from the disease. The eventual policy will be that these people will start getting society back to normal,. Mind you, your mates will probably take a well earned family holiday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What a bunch of young ****s interviewed on BBC news. What’s their obsession with kids missing their exams. They interviewed 3 of them moaning that due to the sudden closure “they won’t get chance to say goodbye to their friends” . **** me, some of us oldies won’t get to say goodbye to our parents & siblings. Unlike their buddies, they won’t be round the corner to pop over and see in 12 weeks time , they’ll be 6ft under.....**** me, what a generation we’ve produced.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here’s an idea, ****ing idiots like your “healthy” mate & his “healthy” wife go to the back of the queue if they do need NHS help to get over this. It makes me sick to think that TWTs like that will take priority over people like my 84 year old Dad or 92 year old father in law when it comes to deciding who gets treatment and who is left to die. In my snap dragons hospital, staff are already being prepared for the long term mental effects they’ll suffer because they will have to let people die. It’s not ****ing game..... I read somewhere that if anyone dies with an underlying health condition, the Germans are writing that as cause of death rather than Coronavirus. Maybe pony, but would be interesting to see if their total death figures have gone up disproportionately the past couple of weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What an ignorant statement. 1. Draconian measures will limit the numbers, if the elderly and ill were in lockdown every winter, flu would kill less. 2. Cancer patients, transplant patients, people with all sorts of illness’ survive bad flu years, they won’t survive this. 3. So many people will be hospitalised that preventable deaths will happen. People who suffer heart attacks or strokes won’t get the same level of treatment they’d get in bad flu years, and minor operations being put off, will undoubtably lead to serious conditions that’ll eventually kill people. People look at public servants as some sort of saints, but they’re just like the rest of the general public, there’s lazy bar stewards and **** takers. The hospital my snap dragon works in got an email from the top dog. Basically it was a **** sandwich, some nice words either side of a “you’re still expected to come to work once the schools close” type of thing. Stating “make plans now”. It was a bit OTT imo, not something I’d write down to my staff as it read very harshly. Guess what, the bod who wrote it is now self isolating. Another nurse was bragging on Facebook about a cheap flight she got to Egypt on Sat, however her latest post is a whinge that she’s got to fly home 3 days earlier. There’s ****ing idiots in all walks of life, public and private sector. At work we had a discussion amongst the management as to which worker would be off first. We all picked the same bloke, not because of health issues or age, but because he takes the ****. Sure enough, email this morning , he’s self isolating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

****ing Hell, they should send Soggy to Cobra meetings. He’s always “just spoken to”, somebody who has a new insight. His Brother, Doctor, mate at the local, Mrs Soggy, someone in Tesco. Funny how every single one of them backs up his theories. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes. The Nelson is pretty unique as it’s become a heavy rock bar and is busy all year round. The rest are incredibly seasonal, struggling to get by until April-Sept. This has come at the worst possible time for the town. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’ve just got back from a dog walk down Poole quay. Popped my head into a few boozers (about 2/3rds were open), they all said “we’re ****ed”. One landlord who I’m very friendly with told me that the brewery CEO called today to check in. My mate told him unless we get help from the brewery (they’re tenants) the virus will finish them. The CEO’s reply “it’ll finish the brewery”. This from a company that’s been brewing over 150 years. Multiply that by thousands of business and I dread to think what towns will look like in 6 months time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Catching up with Soggy’s pony has really cheered me up tonight. He could be used to entertain us whilst we’re self isolating. Rally the spirits,a coronavirus Vera Lynne. Soggy, your country needs you...keep on posting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It is incredibly serious, the preparations her hospital is making are frightening. But, thank god, children don’t seem to be affected as badly. The situation can not be compared with other illness’ that start at school and are taken home to the rest of the family. Schools will undoubtably close, but the advice the Government is getting is that now is not the time and will be counter productive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
