The Corbyn wing of the party have taken over pretty much all the levers of power within the party. If it was just a question of Corbyn, there wouldn’t be such an issue. The right of the party have been routed, the membership will elect another raging leftie and their policies will match. It’ll be a bird, because “it’s about time”. They seem absolutely unable to comprehend that Red Tory or Blairette shouldn’t be an insult but a strategy. If Boris wins, by the time of the next election it’ll be near on half a century since anyone other than Blair won an election. Got to laugh at the lefties on here bemoaning Labour being led by Corbyn, who will then go out & vote for him. Don’t you realise that anything other than utter humiliation will result in a “one more heave” strategy from the hard left. Just as there are plums like Paul Mason still claiming a more left wing approach would have won in ‘17, there will be momentum losers calling for more left wing policies. They just won’t get it. There’s a massive difference. People aren’t laughing at “get Brexit done”. By the last week of the 2017 campaign it had become a running joke, “Get Brexit done” doesn’t appear to be. It looks more like “taking back control”, which was an effective slogan. One thing that was made very clear tonight is how “on message” Boris is. Very hard to be objective as your personal opinions cloud judgement. Personally, I I thought Jezza looked a bit down, not a lot of fire in his belly. Boris is great at staying on message, but in a style that belies that, he also showed a optimistic side that played well imo. Thought Robinson was a bit harsher on Corbyn and most of the debate was fought on Boris’ territory. I wish the NHS was for ****ing sale, we might get a decent health service then. I hope they hurry up and sell it before I get older and need to use it more. They’ve milked line of duty & ruined it. I liked Guilty, it was lightweight but pretty decent. The Capture was good as well. Overall, ITV drama is far better, Prime & Netflix have some good stuff. She is awful. She’s the one who said she wouldn’t stab Corbyn in the back, she’d stab him in the front, and then went on to complain about violent language used by politicians. He’s a complete & utter pinko. His newspaper articles were boring and wet and his interviewing is the same. Apart from Neil the media is low grade right on chumps. I’ve stoped watching Sky news, Bunter Boulton is terrible and don’t get me started on Beth ****ing Rigby, Eleanor Rigby would do a better job and she’s been wearing her face in a jar for 50 years. Kay Burley is fit, but ****ing annoying and Jon Snow needs putting in a home. Peston is like an embarrassing dad going through a mid life crisis.
