God, we've got some ****ing idiot fans. On the train home & I can't believe some of the comments I'm reading. We were beaten by the better side , but we didn't embarrass ourselves. We put on a pretty decent performance, that had we replicated all season , we'd be nowhere near the bottom 3. I've had 4 or 5 texts from neutrals saying we did ok, yet our supporters are the ones slagging the players off. I've been extremely critical of the players attitude this season, but today it was a lack of ability rather than effort. What the **** are some of you clowns on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Somebody said last night that including yesterday he has 1 win in 21 away games against the top 6 clubs whilst at Spurs, and failed to win any of the 9 games at the top 6 whilst with us. If true, that’s 1 win in 30 at the top 6. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What a load of pony. Look at his record away at other top 6 clubs, its ****ing embarrassing . Bottled it again today . Home game in semi final, yet same old same old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not that we’ll get there, but Spurs could put 6 or 7 past us. Utd will shut up shop at 2, so we can keep it down to 3 or 4 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Probably. With 25 starts, not sure. Lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s funny because had we sold him 2 years ago this place would have gone nuts. He’s done the sum part of **** all since. £40million lol,if he’s worth that, my co ck’s a carrot Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I also think it’s a joke they’re playing at home today. ****ing disgrace if they win it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Is that the same JRod staring in the “Worst rated 11” from players with 25+ games this season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There's no "seemingly" about it. He's not good enough for our first team. If you think he's better than the left back we've got them you're deluded. He's found his level, he may push on, he may not. But the fact remains he's not a patch on Ryan Bertrand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A bloke that took this club and that group of players to 8th and a cup final , shouldn't have been sacked, end of. The people you've listed failed, in no way shape or form is 8th a failure for this club. If you don't know that know, you'll know it in the coming 10 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Claude Puel is a good manager, not a great one, but not the idiot some on here claim. He did a very good job for us with the players he was given and deserved to start the following season. He’s doing about average with the players Leicester have. It’s a cop out to say “ sacking him wasn’t wrong, the replacement was”, instead of admitting it was a major error to sack him. A major error that many supported and hence their “ wrong replacement “ line, rather than holding their hands up and stating they were wrong. Anybody can trot out this line about any situation. The forum is full of people claiming we sold too many players, how about it wasn’t selling Mane, Pelle, Vic, VvD that cost us, but replacing them with Redmond, Gabbi, PEH, & Wes that cost us. Does that argument make the decision to sell those players right, no it doesn’t. Just as the decision to sack Claude wasn’t right and is a major factor in us playing championship football next season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Looking at the squad we could be left with...
Lord Duckhunter replied to Dazza82's topic in The Saints
If we hold our nerve and added a few old heads we’ll be ok. We have 7 or 8 decent pros that could get us back up, provided we add sensibly and don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. If I were running the club. Bertrand, Cedric, Wes, Lemina, Gabbi, Tadic, Boufal would be told to **** off. Real men required. Carillo, Forster, Classie , if you can find clubs go, if not I think their attitudes are ok so would have them round club. I’d go for Michael Dawson at Hull to play alongside Yoshida, I think they’d be a pretty decent partnership. Stephens & the Polish lad can dip in and out and could play right back as well if the need arose. McQueen & Targett left backs are decent options, Targett needs to be told he’s staying. End of. Don’t know enough right backs to really comment on them. Clearly need one in, although I wouldn’t write Pied off if he’s up for the challenge. OR & PEH will be immense and both need telling they’re staying, like Targett both strike me as decent individuals that will knuckle down and be professional, if not Harry Arter seems out of favour at Boscombe. Harry Reed as a back up. Redmond, Sims, JWP, Davo, will be ok and I’d also have a dart at Nick Powell as our creative unit. The status of Austin really depends on his health and fitness. If we’re getting a season out of him, then it’s a no brainer to keep him regardless of the dough he’s on ( that’s what the parachute money is for). Gallagher will obviously come back, and Long will be needed. He has the right attitude for the fight. We’ll still need a dead cert, somebody used to the hustle and bustle. I doubt if we’d have a hope in hell, but I’d try and get Troy Deeney, if not Vokes is a good shout. If we can’t get them we could do a lot worse than Benik Afobe, Wolves are going to spend, spend , so he will be out the picture there. And Eddie Howe doesn’t seem to want him. He’s scored in 11 of his last 14 games for club and country. Until last night he’s scored in his last 5 games in a row. He’s already scored 20 goals in domestic league and cups this season ( with 3 games to go). Last season it was 14, and the season they actually won the league it was only 4 more than he’s managed this season. But hey, don’t let facts get in the way of having a dig at the club. If Ryan Bertrand gets to pick the FA cup up after the way he's played since the turn of the year it'll be a travesty. I may even boo the co ckwomble whilst he's doing so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree totally. Watched on a stream and then listened to Merrington droning on about "going for it". I thought it was pretty much a must win, but as the game progressed I could understand what Hughes was doing. We've shipped 3 in our last 4 games and had we "gone for it", would have probably shipped a couple tonight. Clearly it makes it tougher as it pretty much takes everyone bar Swansea out of the equation. But, we still go there and we're one more point nearer them. Fingers crossed they don't get anything from City. Chelsea going to within 5 points of Spurs tonight makes their home game against them a little bit tougher. We're clearly going to have to go and win at Swansea, that's the game we can't sit and accept a 0-0, tonight as it panned out, I felt we had to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sky stating they’re playing 3-4-1-2, left back playing left of the back 3, 2 of the wingers are the wing backs and one in the 10 role. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

These players should be capable of winning at Leicester (when they've nothing to play for ) and Boscombe at home. The key is Hughes getting them to forget what's gone before. Had our start of the season been Leicester A, Boscombe H, Everton A & Swansea A, I bet most people would have said 6 or 7 points. Of course the past 8 months will have affected them, but then Everton & Leicester would be going full pelt at the start of the season. I agree, it's doubtful we're man enough to pull this off. But I bet Palace, Boscombe, Weat Ham and Newcastle could. If you take into account who is playing for what , our fixtures aren't that hard. Swanseas could be, provided we do our bit tonight and next weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let's hope their players are as complacent as you are. Although the point I was making wasn't whether they're safe or not, it was us going into the Everton game only 4 points behind them, with a game in hand. This then changes the whole nature of their home game against Swansea, provided Swansea haven't beaten City or Chelsea. They will need to win it, which in turn does us a favour. Swansea could then be facing a run of fixtures City, Chelsea, Bournemouth away (needing a win to be safe), then us ( who if my scenario plays out will have won at least 2 out of 3 games). Amended for you. First mentioned in a Telegraph interview in 2012. May said: “The aim is to create, here in Britain, a really hostile environment for illegal immigrants”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

They’ve got us, Swansea home & Burnley away left. We need to beat them to ramp up the pressure and make Boscombe V Swansea game a real relegation battle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My mate said earlier, "you do realise this lot could end up legends at the club". **** me, imagine that, mincing through the season then win 5 games at the arse end of it to stay up and win the cup. **** me, what they've put me through this season I think I'd boo them during the open top bus ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So Boscombe losing tonight gives us another pathway clear. Win our next 2 and we're 4 points behind them with a game in hand going into Everton. Who do they play that day? Swansea. I just hope our useless bunch of cretins, the most gutless twts I've had the misfortune of watching, the most underachieving side in my lifetime, realise that they can somehow unbelievably and underserved, get out of this. Leicester away and Boscombe at home, FFS they're not that hard fixtures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
