  2. 2003 was a let down. WGS showed a complete and utter lack of any sort of ambition and the whole day was a "glad to make the final" type of day. Sunday was different , we gave it a go and the loss was felt way way more IMO . 2003 felt like we were a bunch of tourists whereas Sunday we were like a proper football club come to compete. One thing for sure is that this needs to be the start, rather than the end. We should aim for 3 finals in the next 5 years. Perfectly achievable, provided we take them seriously at every stage. 3. It's a poll tax on TV owners. If it's as good as people make out, they'll pay for it via a subscription. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. It's a ****ing joke in this day & age. Should be a subscription service, if you want to watch it then pay for it. However, if you just want to watch sky & itv you should be able to opt out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Missing both goals to drink shocking beer makes you a bit of a mug as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. On The Game , the podcast from the times Gab Marcotti said its was good old fashioned scouting from Southampton. Said we looked beyond the stats, looked at the reasons he wasn't getting much of a game and realised we could give him the platform he needed. Said he's talented but other wouldn't take a chance , because he's had a lull. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. What, the Morgan who went to Manchester Utd, that one , or is there another Morgan that wanted away but still plays for us? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Charlie Nicholas highlighted him on soccer Saturday. Said he worried about our keeper, and to beat Utd he'd have to have a really good game. Went on to say he didn't think he would. Looks like he was right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. There's not much you can do if players insist on leaving Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If we swapped our 2 goal striker for theirs the result would have been the same if Forster was still in our nets. Carraghar taking apart his part in the first goal on mnf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I never had a clue either. I'm sure he meant no offence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The barman told us he couldn't believe how quiet we were. Said Manchester City had a right crac last season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That's pony. He's been average all season. Can you remember him making a save that you thought was a goal, because I can't. If you'd swapped the keepers over we'd have won 4-1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. We were there yesterday, pretty decent set up apart from plastic glasses. Not much of an atmosphere though, all pretty stale and quiet Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  16. He's average, and always has been. Arsenal aside I can't remember one game we've won or got a point because if him. The first goal yesterday was typical, you could see what was going to happen a mile out. Personally I think he's been found out , shoot low and he's got no chance. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  17. Great performance, swap the keepers and we win that 4-1 . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So we don't know what would happen if Everton hadn't wanted Koeman , but it would have been les' fault? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I know for a fact that Peter Rodrigues is ****ed off with the club. And before anyone starts he's not bitter, he's an extremely decent bloke who I've personally seen spent time discussing saints with supporters time & time again. He spends a bit of time in a holiday home in Wareham Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Ok clever ****, name another sporting feat that compares. A 5,000-1 outsider winning a competition that has been the preserve of 3 or 4 teams the past 25 years. Look at the tennis player with odds of 5,000/1 & see if he can win Wimbledon, see if a 5,000/1 outsider could win the drivers championship. I suggest by trying to take the ****, you are talking complete rubbish . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. We are leaving the single market & customs union. May is delivering everything our Nigel wanted. There is nothing more that can be asked, it will be a UKIP Brexit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. To get elected, a ardent remoaner who called Brexit a piece of shiete, guaranteed he'd vote for Brexit in any commons vote . They're all Leavers now, it's game set & match. No need for UKIP , when we're getting a UKIP Brexit anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I don't see what the issue is. He clearly got lucky last season and has been found out this. Good managers would have noticed the signs and shipped a few out and even Stevie Wonder could see he needed new centre backs. Lose the dressing room and you're gone, that's the modern way & has been for 20 odd years. There's not one club in the league that wouldn't bin a manager that the players wanted out, so the owner shouldn't get stick. I'd imagine a skate like fate could be awaiting them if they got relegated as none of their players on big contracts would appeal to anyone. Vardy & RM values have gone down the toilet & I doubt the new contracts have relegation clauses in. They were heading down, so had to act Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. The labour working class voters outside of metropolitan areas have always had some pretty right wing views on immigration , it's just that they never voted Tory. They are also pretty right facing on social issues, certainly more so than Cameron & his merry band of pinkos. Obviously the referendum result highlighted this & the coalition between lefties & socially conservative (small c) people is causing Steptoe major problems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. **** sake, some of you are coming over like love lost teenagers. Get over it. It's pathetic Southampton fans laughing at a player being "medal free" , we've been "medal free" for nearly 50 ****ing years. He left to play for a bigger club, to play in the champions league, to earn more money & to win things. Even if we win Saturday, I'm pretty sure he'll match that by the end of his Liverpool career.
