Whose loyal ? The supporters and that's it . Greece won the euros , did that make all their players irreplaceable at club level ? No it didn't . From what I've seen of him I'd swap either of England's right backs with Cedric , yet England lost to Icland . Take the emotion out of it and judge Jose as a 32 year old centre half . He's a good player , but entirely replaceable . Personally , I wouldn't want to now as its late in the day , but it's not the end of the world if he wants out .

As I said in the bits of the post you didn't quote " he was great in the euros ". But history is full of players doing great in particular tournaments . My judgement is based on watching him regularly and he's a good centre half , but he's got a lot of miles in his legs having played many lower league games . Just because he won the euros doesn't suddenly change that any more than it makes Cedric a better full back than Clynne in the English game .

Even if he wants out

If you take the emotion out of it, he's very replaceable . Great servant that he's been , he's shown signs of tipping over the top of the hill . I know he had a great Euros and he's " last man standing " from our league one days , but there's no point in getting all soppy and emotional about it . The cold hard business decision would be to line up a replacement and sell. From this summer on it'll be a diminishing return in terms of transfer fees and personally I can't see him getting better . I'm not a soft arse around the captaincy ( VvD or Davo are just as capable ) so it's down to football . In football terms , he's a good player with a lot of miles on his clock , at his peak value . If we can get rid at top dollar and get a younger man in for the same money and wages , I'd do it . Look at Baines, Everton didn't sell at the top of the market and they're getting less and less value for money out of him . He's not John Terry , he'll need replacing or face better competition than Yoshida within 18 months anyway . Don't let the euros confuse the issue , VvD is our number one and there's plenty younger players who could slot in next to him

unless he's a complete see you next Tuesday , he wouldn't post "we march on "if he was leaving

The New Formation Thread : The Puel 4-4-2 Diamond
Lord Duckhunter replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
I'm not keen on it myself , I know Leicester won the league with 4 in there but personally I prefer 5 in midfield . If you want to play 2 upfront , then go with a back 3 . A 4-3-3 in possession becoming a 4-5-1 out of it would be my choice . I just worry that a 4-4-2 that has a number 10 and therefore only 1 CDM will leave us wide open imo . If he wants to play a 10 , then I'd want a 4-4-1-1 with 2 CDM's . -

Mine came today and I noticed that as well . -
Exactly . These remoaners are so bitter they're too quick to post . They need to calm down a bit and take a deep breath before posting .

Stop confusing him with facts

Teresa May wanted to stay in the EU. What is the point you're trying to make ? That members of the Tory party who voted Leave and members of the Tory party who voted remain , wanted to leave something that had nothing to do with the EU , but aren't doing so now? I hope you've paid a £5 because that's a waste of a third of your posts today if you haven't .

6 weeks and the main remoaner is complaining that David, Boris & The good Dr haven't updated us yet . What do you want ,weekly updates ? The continued crying, bitterness and whinging makes our victory even sweeter , keep it up please .

No we didn't . If we did EU nationals wouldn't get child benefit for children living abroad
-
We didn't have a veto over who could work here or who received our benefits . I guess that's not important in Whitey World
-
Nobody said nothing will happen , it was a vote for the future They voted to take back control and they belived that we'd be better off controlling our own affairs . Lets see what state the EU's economy is in 10 years and then compare it to ours , then we'll see which one hit a wall .
-
Well said Wes . "Ordinary " voters are not stupid . They didn't think they were voting for exactly the version of Brexit they wanted . People understood that Frank Fields version of Brexit was different than Michael Goves , just as the TUC's version of in differed from the Tories . What they were voting for was getting out of the EU and then for our democratically elected politicians to determine the future of the country
-
Michael Foot didn't believe the polling he received as everywhere he went he was surrounded by enthusiastic supporters and every speech was extremely well received by the people who heard it . The same thing is happening with the Corbyn supporters and they'll get exactly the same outcome come the election
-
God some of you remoaners are real planks . Of course George Galloways Brexit vision is entirely different to IDS' or David D's . Frank Field had totally different reasons for voting than Nigel. Exactly like the remain camp . Jezz voted remain for a socialist Europe , Osborne for something else , the unions are "widely split " from the Tory party but were both on the same side. If we'd been stupid enough to vote remain and somebody posted that the remain camp were " widely split" on the future it would have been laughable . Of course Brexit are split . It was a coalition of various elements coming together on one issue , an issue that united The Eton mess in government with the TUC , Corbyn with Nicolas Soames and The Guardian with the Mail on Sunday .
