Hull give every team a blueprint to beat us?
Lord Duckhunter replied to Daft Kerplunk's topic in The Saints
I’m a game of fine margins against decent opposition, there will be a blue print to beat us. We’re too predicable, you don’t need to be a football genius to work out how we’ll play. That’s the easy bit, the hard bit is stopping us from doing so, and there aren’t many teams good enough to do that. Unfortunately, there’s 3 or 4 that are and that doesn’t bode well. Unless we have a bit more unpredictability in our game we ain’t going up. -
There’s a thin line between confidence & arrogance & Martin (or L ego) crosses it too much for my liking. Bristol was a horrendous performance, but WBA was a textbook away performance, one of the best we’ve produced for a while. It appears too simple for the great coach to go with “same again”, hes “cleverer” than that. I don’t buy all this “my fault” pony he comes out with either. If he really thought that, he would have learnt from those shite performances. The fact he replicated it yesterday shows what he really thinks. He knows best but the players didn’t execute it properly previously. Why else would you make the same mistake if you’ve acknowledged it & learnt from it? He doesn’t really think it was his fault, or tactically it was wrong, that’s why.

There’s a surprise 😂 I believe Nick Griffin jumped to the same conclusion.

So why bring Manning in when Stephen’s has played far fewer games lately?

Hull were excellent. Possession based football played at speed ,with a great high press and great defensively but broke with pace. We were lucky to only concede 2. Extremely well coached side. Wonder if their Manager thinks he’s some sort of football genius who has invented a new style of football. Lego- Picked the wrong side. Fucking no need for it, stop trying to be too clever. Out coached tonight. Baz- Worse game this year. Manning- Why? Smallbone- Starting to seriously annoy me now. Bald headed cunt needs a spell on the sidelines until he stops fucking mincing about. Adam Armstrong- Fuck me, I don’t care how many goals he’s scored, he’s fucking pony. He sums up how fucking shite most teams are this season. No quality at all. Brookes, Aribo, Frasier, fucking excellent. If these 3 don’t start Sat, Lego needs sectioning. Che Adams-Bang average, but unfortunately bang average puts him head and shoulders above Mara & Adam Armstrong.

The Jose Fonte who turned up at West Ham, no thanks..

I’m surprised he didn’t fucking drop it.

I know you’re trying to hide behind a sentence containing the word “their”, but that’s irrelevant. Under the international working definition you wrote something that was anti semitic. It’s got fuck all to do with the context you wrote “their” in. “Their” didn’t even appear in the anti semitic part. The fact you’re still defending yourself proves you just don’t understand and need to educate yourself.

More excuses for him. Over various threads, over multiple posts, he’s posted anti semitic/racist comments. He’s been pulled up on it by various posters, not just the “pile on” gang. But for some bizarre reason you go out of your way to defend it. I’ll judge him by what he writes. Anyone who spends a day researching whether The Jews are a race, has serious issues with Jewish folk I’m afraid.

Soggy posted an anti semitic comment on the third post of this thread, back in June, 3 months before 7/10. People should remember that before criticising others.

Groundless? If you use the international working definition of anti semitism as defined by the IHRA, a poster has been guilty of anti semitic posts on here. You seem to have your own definition, which is basically you decide what is and isn’t anti semitic. That’s a rather narcissistic approach to such things which reflects poorly on you.

People like your self don’t seem to realise where the line is. You constantly defended Corbyn over this (in a period before 7/10 even happened), you tried to make out it was all a media myth then. Yet when the Labour Party was found “responsible for unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination,” following an investigation into anti-Semitism in the party, Keir Starmer called it a “day of shame” for the party, accepted the EHRC report’s findings in full, and pledged to implement its recommendations. That doesn’t strike me as the media shutting down debate, it’s the Labour Party starting to deal with a serious anti semitic problem within its party. It is the Labour Party that have kicked him out, not the media. It is the Jewish Labour Movement that is calling for anyone at that meeting who didn’t challenge the candidate, to be kicked out of the party, not the media. The media just report what the bloke said, they’re not shutting down debate, they’re shining a light on people like you and him, and your abhorrent views on Jewish people.

This has been explained to you many times dopey. Many times,

I’m not a big Lego fan (his love of himself far exceeds his career achievements to date), or the style of football (would like it in the mixer a bit more), but some of the comments on here are laughable. We’ve had an exceptional run which was obviously going to end somewhen. That run basically guaranteed a top 6 finish & we’re only half way through Feb. Leeds will lose 2 or 3 more & no doubt we will as well. Even if one of those defeats is Friday, it’s not the end of the world. Long long way to go, lots of twists and turns to come. Leeds aren’t any better than us, they’re not some wonder team.

God it’s depressing. A Labour candidate is “unsupported” because of the anti semitic comment he made and it seems to have empowered our resident anti semite. 😩

What a load of old pony.

I can’t see the problem. He’s still got the ear of other world leaders & is on top of his game dealing with major world issues. He managed to get humanitarian aid into Gaza through talking to the Mexican president. Remarkable statesmanship.

You are joking aren’t you? The number 1 issue during Corbyns time in opposition was Brexit, Steptoe who spent his whole political life opposing Britains membership, suddenly becomes a Remainer. 😂 He abandoned that principle pretty quickly, knowing he’d be booted out of the leadership if he didn’t change.

I’ve seen this a few times, but fundamentally disagree. I listened to an ex diplomatic advisor taking to David Aaronovitch about the process of rejoining. He said the one thing the EU must have & will insist on before entering into any talks, is political consensus. Rejoining The EU must be a settled issue within the 3 parties that will form any future Government, like it was from 1983 until the referendum. Any differences between changing UK administrations were tiny and at the edges of policy, they all fundamentally believed in staying in The EU. He said that until this stability in political thought is achieved The EU will not enter into negotiations. He doubted that political consensus in this country will be reached for another generation at least. Which leads me to your point. Which way do you think a heavily defeated Tory party will go? Personally, I’d say they’ll move to the right, further away from the wing of the party that wouldn’t mind rejoining, meaning less of a consensus & less chance the EU will start talks. The other problem rejoiners have is the stay out vote is spread over the country, and in any FPTP election the anti EU votes will achieve more seats for less % of the vote. If Labour start talks (unlikely in my opinion) Sterling, Free movement & Schengen will form part of those talks. It’s therefore not particularly hard for the Tories to turn the 2030/31 election into a “Brexit” one. Even if 55% of the population want to rejoin, those 55% won’t equate to a majority due to the concentration of those 55%. Therefore it could well cost Labour a second term if they enter into talks with The EU, making it highly unlikely they would want to do so. They’ll be extremely careful around the EU issue, particularly in their first term. So that makes it unlikely the EU would want talks (lack of political consensus) & unlikely labour would want talks (May cost them subsequent election). The only way is for our electoral system to be changed. Only Lab/Lib/Pinko Tory permanent majority will bring political consensus. And only PR will ensure labour don’t lose power by entering into talks. Labour may say they want PR, but we know what happens when parties win stonking great majorities under FPTP, they suddenly decide it’s the best system. A Labour super majority makes PR less likely & PR is the only way you’ll get serious talks about rejoining going in the next 25 years imo.

That’s a big rich coming from someone who is still crying over Brexit. I think you’ll find “gammon” aren’t particularly fond of Sunak & will be quite happy for Big Dog or Nigel to roll up & take over once he’s humiliated.
