First sensible statement since you coughed up a fiver. Keep it up.
-
Someone give him his fiver back FFS. Nuclear weapons are fucking useless, didn’t stop the IRA from bombing London or 9/11. 😂

Martin Lewis is constantly banging on about it on his BBC show, oblivious to the fact the licence fee is funded by exactly the same method.
-
I’m going this Oct, thanks for the info. I never get it right, we’re in Turkey this week & it’s fucking baking & I must be the only clown who packed a hoodie & jeans.

“I was listening to a phone in on LBC” & I can see why people are “impressed “ with The Greens.
-
Yep he did, Sunak & Priti, it was on the thread where he also called Priti an immigrant because she wasn’t white. Horrific stuff.
-
No it wasn’t, it was a direct response you complaining I thought it was a gimmick. Something you now seem to agree with. You’re all over the place, even trying to pretend she did know how many breakfasts they needed make. You’ll be telling us she knew how many kids were privately educated next.
-
So you oppose that Labour gimmick as well then?
-
I don’t want taxes going on feeding middle class & rich kids. That’s the parents fucking job.
-
Our LBC correspondent must have missed this from this morning. Fresh from not having the “figures to hand” of roughly how many pupils are privately educated, the shadow education sec didn’t know how many breakfasts will be needed for their latest gimmick. https://x.com/LBC/status/1800085493142499333

He wasn’t saying that anyone with money and privilege didn’t understand, just Sunak. He wasn’t saying the reason for that was race, just his privilege. Starmer said more or less the same thing, that his privilege meant he didn’t understand the struggle of the British people. Was he being racist as well. At the end of the day leaving early did show he didn’t understand, that’s an absolute fact. If he did he wouldn’t have left. All of a sudden Nigel is the bad guy. 😂

I see Soggy has derailed another thread. Proof of any was needed that the pension in this country is too generous. I’d vote for any party that cut it by £5

Pre Maastricht.

I don’t discuss politics down the ale house, so I’ve no idea how my follow “bores” vote. There’s nothing right wing about the present government.taxes at a 70 year high, loose legal immigration, soft on crime & an NHS is desperate need of reform. That’s not even mr ruining the most unconservative pony yet, banning cigarettes but only for certain people. The fact a Tory prime minister & Tory advisors didn’t understand how much D Day means to the country, says it all. Just like under Johnny Major the wets form the majority of the PP & just like him they’re going to receive the mother of all kickings. The hard of thinking equate this lot with the right, but all they do is talk the talk, they don’t walk the walk. They’re new labour clones

It was horrific watching the hostages struggling to stay in Gaza. Those Hsmas barbarians were chucking them back to the IDF. Horrific. There was also a demo in Tel Aviv today, “send them back” is the chant. The IDF are going to lose support at this rate

Love people calling for PR. They’ll be the same ones hailing FPTP when Reform get far more votes than the Lib Dem’s but end up with a tiny % of seats compared to them. As for English parliament, it would be dominated by the right. The country is far further right than the posters on here. I’ve said for years, the established political parties are lucky that Nigel is a unionist because he’d play havoc with the unfairness & anti English bias in our democracy. One day someone will come along & the English will rise up. Forget sweaty independence, they’d get that all right, when we gain ours and fuck them off.

Fucking hell, can’t Granty put the subscription up to £20..

The Tories have always been a broad church, that’s why they’ve been so successful in elections. People banging on about Patel & Bravamen ignore the fact the chancellor & Foregin sec are soaking wet pinkos. The membership is far further to the right than the PP, and reform are on that particular wing. Most Tory MP’s are either a Maggie tribute act or a social fucking democrat. The PP have caused this destruction & mayhem, and unless they get some conservative thinkers coming forward they’re fucked. I hope they’re wiped out & a proper right wing party emerges from the wreckage.

Really? That does surprise me 😂😂 Last week, the Board of Deputies urgedthe Green Party to do better when vetting parliamentary candidates and that "through their social media activity, some candidates appear to sympathise with the crudest antisemitic slurs. If the Green Party does not start showing some principle on this, it risks its wider agenda sinking into a growing cesspit of racism.” Former Labour MP Dame Louise Ellman slammed the Greens for “stirring division” after the JC exposed that fellow co-leader Carla Denyer was using Palestinian flags on a batch of her official campaign material in Bristol Central. The Greens were forced to abandon a potential candidate in Bristol East, Naseem Talukdar, after he compared Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler on social media. Eilzabeth Waight, the Green candidate for Bethnal Green and Stepney, decided to withdraw after she posted a video on Instagram on March 27 in which a woman said: “What’s left for the Zionists [is] to eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Palestinians… I think this will happen soon.” On Saturday apologised, saying “once I was made aware of connotations of anti-Semitism in some of the posts I shared from other accounts, I removed them immediately from my timeline and I apologise for the upset they have caused.” Another candidate, Joe Belcher, standing for Aldridge-Brownhills in the West Midlands posted conspiracy theories that Israel paid Hamas to carry out the October 7 atrocities. He is still listed as an official candidate on the party’s website.

You don’t half come out with some old pony. 🤡

The bird controlled the debate pretty well, because it could have been a shambles. Funny outcome because I reckon supporters of all 7 will have been pleased with their candidate’s performance. They all got their points over and did a great job for their particular views. Fair play to Penny, she was handed a hospital pass and dealt with it ok. Personally, I was happy with Nigel & I think he’s done himself some good with his target audience. He’s a lot slicker than previously, clearly worked on presentation & avoiding the dead cat technique. I was worried he may talk and interrupt too much & may say something outrageous, the fact he didn’t indicates to me he seriously thinks there could be a breakthrough. Obviously, the lefties will hate him, he won’t care. Absolutely nobody is contemplating whether to vote reform or Green, Lib Dem or reform, so he’s not lost any votes by pushing stop & search, criticising net zero, & saying immigration is too high. He got lucky to close last and made the most of it with a great closing statement. If I was a Tory, I’d be worried their vote isn’t going to be squeezed this time.

The Greens, Lib Dems, Taffs & Sweaties are just promising money left right and centre. It’s all money for this, money for that, more soliders, more doctors, more care workers. They’re going to fix the roads, build more houses. Fucking 6th form politics. Raynor, Penny & Nigel the only ones not living in fantasy land.
