His level is clearly The Championship. I wouldn’t bet against Charlton going up next season, would you?
-
Not really. The accusation was that i was “nowhere to been seen on the forum”. Admittedly, I haven’t spent any time double checking my posting history (fortunately I can leave that boring task to others) , but I’m pretty sure there were plenty of posts on plenty of different threads. I didn’t realise the match day thread was the only one that counts and failure to post on that after a win, makes you a Skate. Rest assured, win lose or draw I will post my pony on said thread in future.

My posting history is there for everyone to see. I posted just as much during the past 4 months as I’ve always done. Other than that, good point well made…

This is what SAF said about shaking hands with Rafa “ Normally we shake hands. I was waiting to shake hands because I have education” About Rio Ferdinand after John Terry had allegedly racially abused his brother “ Rio has been fighting racism for many years and the lad must rise above it. It doesn't detract from anything to shake John Terry's hand.”. About facing Suarez after he’s racially abused a Utd player. “It is nothing to be ashamed of. There is not a problem shaking hands.” Thats a bloke who hated losing. Mind you, he’d probably change his tune if he’d been subjected to a second division keeper time wasting. 😂😂.

Exactly. There’s a world of difference between hating losing & being a bad loser with no class. I’m sure Bobby Robson hated losing as much as Lego head, but I’ll bet my life he’d shake an opposing players hand. It’s incredibly rare for managers to not do so. People who actually despise losing always seem to shake opposing players hands. Some mangers will kick their granny to get a win, but they’d still shake hands with her at the end. Just shows that for all his David Brent like pony, he can’t handle a little bit of pressure.

Neville is a twat, but he was right about Chelsea bottling it. They had Liverpool on the ropes at the end of normal time, but were very passive in extra time. Klopp defo seemed to do a better job in the break before the extra 30. personally, I don’t get the hype over Cole Palmer or Gallagher and they both reinforced that opinion today. Gallagher missed a sitter & a couple of decent chances, and Palmer disappeared as the game wore on.

Sad news. Really good player & a decent manager. Had an impossible task following Lawrie, but did extremely well in the circumstances which wasn’t really appreciated at the time. RIP Chris, one of the good guys.

You do realise the Lino flagged don’t you. Had there been no VAR it wouldn’t have been a goal

So Lego was unhappy with this ref because of his performance in Saints games, when he was Swansea manager. Makes perfect sense now. No wonder he was livid, who can blame him. I remember SAF kicking right off about Clive Thomas disallowing a goal under Big Ron’s reign at Old Trafford.

Fuck me, if we beat Liverpool this week and Klopp refuses to shake our players hand this forum would be in meltdown. If Nathan Jones had done that, they’d be a 10 page thread about it, with the people defending Lego being the first complaining about it. Our noddy supporters are crying about a keeper wasting time, dear god. As if our players never do that. Take your red and white specs off, he was wrong. Hopefully he regrets it. End of.

The small things in life that bring you joy

Fuck me, you need to get a life Soggy. -
Lack of class . “How’s that for honesty”.
-
To talk about “noise” , I presume he means criticism from supporters, is fucking noddy when you’re in our position. We’re fucking 4th in the Championship and a provincial club. Fuck me, what’s the “noise” a few hurty tweets, a few moans and groans. It’s hardly Barca or Manchester Utd, stop talking pony man and take some responsibility for a shite performance. I actually think the supporters have been pretty tolerant of the boring fucking turgid shite Lego ball we’ve had to watch at times this season.

That used to do my nut in with Ralph as well. Fucking giving it large when we win and hiding when we lose.
-
How can you say it was nothing to do with Baz. He gave them a goal 5 mins into the game.
-
It didn’t make a blind bit of difference to anything. 🤡

Bearing in mind the opposition, the style of football we played today was one of the most boring I’ve had the misfortune to watch. I’ve no doubt in my mind that had Jonesy taken over this season, we wouldn’t be any lower in the league. We may not have gone 25 unbeaten, but we’d be in the PO places, of that I have no doubt. Id also fancy Jones muck & bullets approach in the play offs over L ego’s fucking passing for the sake of it style.

First couple of mins we were ok, started quickly & win a corner. A corner where we minced around and passed it out for a goal kick. What do they do, win a free kick, knocked it in the mixer & 🤡 in nets . Goal. The lack of urgency second half was fucking criminal.

Soft arsed goal conceded Tues and now today. His blunder gave them the foundation and a great start towards a win. Again, not good enough today.
-
That last game of the season is taylor made for our sideways, backwards, mincing around football. Smallbone & Manning will thrive in that intense pressurised atmosphere. If we’re within 2 points of Leeds on that day, we’ll piss it…
-
Fuck me half our Noddys would have left with 2 mins to go.
-
But they were suffering from last seasons scar tissue at the time. .
-
Do you realise the manager watches them day in day out at training don’t you? The fact is, he has been a pony in the occasional game he’s started & pony when he comes on. He’s done absolutely fuck all to deserve a starting place, and based on performance he is lucky to even sit on the bench.

I’m sure older players can be role models, set an example and inspire younger players. But they’ve got to be good enough & Bertrand hasn’t fucking been since he left us. If we want a has been who can’t get in the squad, we might as well re sign Mick Mills. He was a better captain, role model & leader than Bertrand ever was, and he’ll probably want less money for not playing.
