  1. Being brave is not being afraid to make the same mistakes over and over and over again, to keep trying the same thing , even if it costs you…..Russ is the bravest manager we’ve ever fucking had.
  2. This is what Prowse told the BBC the day we were relegated. “From the first day of pre-season until right now you can tell the standards at the club have slipped,"
  3. I found Puglia a bit cheaper than most of Italy if you’re on a budget.
  4. If they had a trendy algorithm, why would it pick diametrically opposed managers like Jones & Martin. Did this algorithm throw up a front footed aggressive Brentford like outcome, followed by a possession based RussBall. If so, it’s a bit of a coincidence that we’ve ended up with a bloke who thinks he’s Pep. If Martin was a success I think I know who you’d be putting it down to, Wilcox. We’re a pound shop Man C, yet the bloke we’ve hired from Man C didn’t really want the pound shop Pep. He actually wanted the bloke that’s doing well at another relegated club, amazing isn’t it. Spin worthy of Alister Campbell. This is what the club said was his role when first appointed “responsibility for all football departments, including the men’s first team”. If Wilcox had said, “fuck me don’t employ that Lego headed chump, he’s a blagger that can’t set a team up defensively “, do you think he’d be here?
  5. Brilliant, can they play in midfield?
  6. Based on what? He played for a team with a good manager, Jesus fucking Christ, let’s get Andy Cole in, shall we. Nobody can fucking tell me Wilcox wasn’t fully on board the Russ bus. He’s part of the shit show. I’m glad you think he’s our only chance of recovery, because I fucking don’t. He may well “intervene”, but it’ll be for job preservation, rather than not thinking Martin was the man for the job. He was another smug wanker that thinks he’s broken the mould and reinvented football. Martin & Wilcox are two checks of the same arse as far as I’m concerned.
  7. I can recommend Puglia in summer. We went in June, beautiful. Gallipoli a personal favourite and funnily enough I met an Inter supporter in a phone shop there, who was also in San Siro for our game.
  8. That Utd keeper is good with his feet though.
  9. I think it’s about not getting caught. Id imagine most “sex addicts” are just blokes who got caught doing something they shouldn’t.
  10. How many tickets were they given? Don’t get me wrong, going there with 2 of my sons to watch Saints will remain with me forever, but weren’t we given more tickets because they didn’t sell many. Are you saying Newcastle failed to sell their allocation.
  11. The scar tissue stuff is just pony & reflects badly on him (as does implying the supporters carry some blame). Firstly, we’re getting worse. Our best 3 performances were the first 3, what’s he trying to say, Che Adams & AA who were banging them in for fun suddenly thought “shit last season was horrendous”. Had they forgotten until recently? The more Martin coaches them, the worse performances are getting. Only Baz seems to be getting better, the rest are getting worse. And Baz, due to him having a specialist coach is the probably the player coached least by Martin. Secondly, some of the shite has been served up by players who weren’t here last season. Are scar tissue injuries contagious? Thirdly, STFU. Even if it was true, the time to bring it up is when you’re winning games, not when you’ve lost 3 in a row. I don’t think I’ve lost confidence in a Manager so quickly. I’m normally pretty patient, but not with this bloke. It’s not the defeats, even if the points total is lower than it should be, but the nature of the defeats. My mate sent me an article where an Ipswich player said it was easy and they knew exactly how we’d play. That’s fucking damning, particularly when we played exactly the same and got dicked in the two previous games. I can’t think of another manager we’ve had whose reaction to a 5-1 then a 4-1 was to play exactly the same fucking way. Even if we win Sat I’ll still be concerned if we do so playing like this. Any will be down to Middlesbrough’s inadequacy, rather than our managers tactics. There’s absolutely zero chance we’ll finish in the top 2 unless he changes his off the ball philosophy.
  12. Players are treated badly & forced out of clubs by behaviour like that, it’s not just Nathan Jones. However, the bloke did come over a bit whiny to me, what’s wrong with the offer of paying up his contract, why didn’t he just accept that and fuck off? He had nowhere to go? Fuck me, I bet he was on 100k a year at least & they offered him 7 months. Poor soul.
  13. The space we gave Leicester in the middle of the park was unbelievable, to go and do exactly the same thing a few days later is fucking criminal. It strikes me as arrogance in the extreme. A worse a set up than Jones or Selles ever delivered, Hughes & Pelegríno set us up miles better that & a it’s million miles away from what Ralph or Claude did tactically. It was probably the most incompetent tactical performance that I’ve seen from a manger in over 45 years of supporting Saints. How anyone can watch us against Leicester & then come to the conclusion that playing Joe Aribo in the centre of the park will address the problem. He’s been smoking his own dope, putting his own ego above the needs of the club, and it looks like it’s only heading one way. Im not a great fan of this particular brand of football when it works, when it doesn’t it’s fucking horrendous.
  14. If it was me I’d go 4-2-3-1 Baz Bree… Janny B…THB….KWP Charles. Manning Edozie. Alcaraz. Frazier Che
  15. Did fuck all again tonight.
  16. If he losses the players, this could get really messy. Imagine trying to play RussBall when your hearts not really in it. Fuck me, Ralph’s 9’s could be in jeopardy.
  17. Nathan Jones achieved more at Luton than Martin did at Swansea or MK Dons.
  18. I don’t get this Swansea pony from him . Anyone would think it’s the equivalent of what Johann Cruyff did at Barca, the way he bangs on about it. Jones made a cock of himself by constantly going on about what he’d achieved at Luton, whilst irrelevant to his Premier league role, it was an achievement to get them into the play offs. This bloke goes on about his time at Swansea & his playing philosophy there, but all he did was take a middle table side to……mid table. Lego headed twat.
  19. I honestly reckon under Selles or Jones we would have at least as many points as we have now, and we wouldn’t have let in as many goals. We’ve beaten 2 shite sides & one average one, and have been pretty much outplayed in the others. It’s unbelievable how open we were in midfield again tonight, it beggars belief he can continue to set us up like this. He’s not some foreign manager just arrived, he’s played & managed in this country, it defies belief he thinks this is the way forward.
  20. Make no mistake, tonight was entirely down to the manager. His insistence we pass out from the back, and his ridiculous midfield set up cost us tonight.
  21. I’m not blaming anyone for my shortcomings I’m blaming the players for theirs. If they don’t play better replace then? yes, fucking replace them. I think you’ve got this the wrong way round, it is the players job to change from losing 5-1 then 4-1, not fucking mine. You pay me 55k a week & I’ll willingly take some responsibility for shite performances, until then I’ll support them which ever way I want to. One thing for sure, I’ll still be in St Mary’s long after these clowns have left the circus.
  22. Id be careful about throwing accusations like that around if I were you. As egg has said, a jury of his peers will determine whether he’s broken the law. He is innocent until proven guilty and it’s a bit worrying that an ex CPS employee doesn’t seem to respect this fundamental part of our legal system.
  23. Giving your own players clog is part and parcel of football, & has gone on for years & years. If they don’t want to be getting stick, fucking play better.
  24. Of course 😂 If he’s innocent, then he is indeed a victim. Just like Ched Evans & Kevin Spacey were. A jury will decide and he’s quite entitled to protest his innocence. As for your claims that you’ve not hear a peep from him since him & Ross’ shenanigans, I’m surprised an avid Guardista has forgotten this little gem.
