Putting the terrible false allegations aside he was a very average manager and had it not been for the timing of the police allegations he would surely have been sacked - Hoddle was a different level when he came in. There was also an unjustified arrogance about him.

There are clearly clubs interested and he has scored goals in a struggling side. So worth a 2 year extension imo to see how he develops.
