Katalinic

Why is it more important? We aren't going to qualify for Europe or go down.

Marcus' flag needs to be at Wembley imo.

Bloody awesome what a great performance and credit to Puel, tactically spot on, happy to eat my words.

Given all of the intense monitoring we do of players we will have a pretty good idea of when a player is in decline - probably why we didn't want to offer a longer deal - so £9m would be a result.

Thank Christ for that.

Specifically last week yes - the previous results you referenced, the 0-0 we were very very lucky to get the draw. The other games you referenced we deserved our wins but we had a far stronger and better managed team then.

You've missed the point.

Or it showed that Liverpool had a bad day. I admire your positivity but honestly it's been dire in the majority of games this season - the squad isn't as bad as some make out but Puel is underachieving with who he has at his disposal.

Are you suggesting that this is Les Reed's new "Southampton Way"? Bloody hope its not.

So we can continue to play boring negative football using different players?

That means nothing - the dreaded vote of confidence

Probably been told he isn't signing anyone and that he has the best pool of midfielders in the premier league to pick from.

Can people stop quoting the trolling **** banging on about relegation, most of us have him on ignore. Can't believe it hasn't been banned.

We seem to have a lot of "those days" this season. It's down to a lack of quality not luck.

We have played like that for most of the season and we haven't so far. You dress it up all you like but the football we play is impotent and dull.

Another game where we have enough chances but no quality in the finish - everyone could see we were light up front in the summer except for Reed - still at least we have the best pool of midfielders in the division...

Knew that cvnt would score as soon as he came on

I don't disagree with any of this!

Would it also spell the end of mongboard forum "characters"?

Doesn't mean it can't be changed or alternative solutions found - also can see your logic that the Chapel is an option. FWIW I agree with the first poster, away fans behind the goal is not ideal.

What about that bloody great wall they built and the terracotta army? As another poster said, its the Americans who can't buy that stuff

Lowe's best intentions were reserved for his ego and share dividends - I can't recall seeing him at SMS recently so his love for the club is perhaps greatly exaggerated. Granted at least he achieved something with the stadium, unlike Orange Ken who was at best a chancer and at worst a money grabbing cvnt.

Acknowledging the squad was weaker than last year I expected upper mid table still but also I thought we would get out of the Europa League Group - hugely disappointing that we didn't. The FA and EFL cup are a bonus in any season, don't think you can expect anything as the draws can be favourable or vice versa. What I was really expecting though was the continuation of entertaining football, and that has been the biggest let down of all. It shouldn't have done, with European football and a cup semi final, but the season has just felt a bit meh.

Paving the way for his failure and resignation with his reputation intact.

92nd minute and no player within 5 yards of him...horrific defending.
