View is fine....Having been fortunate to have had hospitality at a number of clubs, Saints offering just lacks attention to detail and the service is very average, had to ask for drinks etc., they seemed understaffed to be frank. I went to one game the season before last where the company hosting had spent more than a few thousand on the box and yet had their name spelt incorrectly on the box door which is all a bit amateurish. Chelsea's hospitality has been the best I have experienced just for the record.

I wonder if more Exec boxes will be filled this year, we haven't seemed to fill many even on our return to Prem - having said that, the experience in them is pretty poor compared to other clubs so not really that surprised.

I think S-Clarke's post above is salient in respect of this viewpoint.

It is clearly being inferred on this and a number of other threads by certain individuals - mostly without any realistic alternative suggestions of how, in their view, the club should be showing "ambition".

It's a sign of realism. Whether you like it or not that is the model and Saints do it very well. It isn't going to change so you may as well get used to it rather than moaning about it.

I think you might be right, no coincidence this has come out following the Fonte to United stories today.

You couldn't blame him, his stock is never going to be higher and as others have said its would be a huge final payday. Hopefully not true but if it is he will want to go imo.

Turnover means nothing in isolation...you need to factor in the cost of building it. How long before it pays back etc.

Nothing to do with ambition, it's reality...players want to move to bigger clubs. You either buy into the model or you are going to be disappointed and as another poster said, may as well find something else to do. This isn't Football Manager.

The 2 games he played for us were sensational. I've always been a fan of Marco Almeida personally.

We should have held on to him and got some compo...although nothing will compare to the money we got for Whiskey George who was about to be sacked.
