There is part of me that would hate to win the tournament with Hodgson in charge.

This agent stuff is ********, he is a grown man not a puppet, he doesn't need an agent to say no.

He was talking about it as recently as last week...not to mention the obvious planted article in the Telegraph earlier this week. I haven't seen many fans on here demanding a statement...we don't need one, we've been here before and we know how it works.

He has done the same interview for Koeman's, Pochettino's and Clyne's contracts..all of which have ended with the same result. I'm sure he is doing a good job generally but on the topic of contracts he is better off just shutting up.

Taking the emotion of our love of SFC out of it..is it that different than any of us? I enjoy my job and work for a great company, but frankly if someone offered to treble my wages I'd be gone in a heartbeat.

I think the club have set their stall out in that respect. We aren't going to go out and spend £100m.
