  1. Nothing to do with ambition, it's reality...players want to move to bigger clubs. You either buy into the model or you are going to be disappointed and as another poster said, may as well find something else to do. This isn't Football Manager.
  2. Is 15th this years even unfunnier version of the last 10 years 17th?
  3. Has the transfer window closed early then?
  4. Are you really comparing Benfica with Saints? Fine, you dont rate the guy I get it. Interesting posting style, on this and other threads potential to be a forum "character".
  5. Same reason we signed a Bayern Munich reject. We have a tendency to improve young players with potential.
  6. FFS make it stop. Thanks Saint Lard for a relevant post. Anderson Talisca would be a brilliant signing.
  7. Mane-esque

The 2 games he played for us were sensational. I've always been a fan of Marco Almeida personally.

We should have held on to him and got some compo...although nothing will compare to the money we got for Whiskey George who was about to be sacked.
  10. The time to worry would be if Jeremy Wilson was saying it....Crook is a joke.
  11. What was the 1.5 for? Generous.
  12. It's funny that Stoke agree fees but the players wait until the last minute desperately hoping that someone else comes in so they don't have to live near Stoke. Can't blame them tbh
  13. Thing is though is that for many the Sky era is football's golden age. All relative I guess, nostalgia tends to skew our judgement sometimes of what things were really like.
  14. You dont get more people standing as the area is the equivalent of one seat. The extra income is a myth otherwise we would practically give away tickets for games we dont sell out. Im not against safe standing at all however I cant see the club making a decision which might well improve the atmosphere but at the expense of income and actually which would generate a cost.
  15. Why would any club spend money on creating a safe standing area to generate less income? I know you yearn the bygone days but football for the masses are long gone I am afraid.
  16. I got sent a pic by someone who worked at Umbro of "that" red kit from our first season in the Prem, a few months before it was launched. Tried to give as much away as I could and eventually shared it with The9 before launch. The only other thing I have been ITK about is Redknapp saying that he had made a mistake the day after he took the manager's job.
  17. The Yoshida omission is explained on the OS, but no mention of Gardos at all.
  18. Absolutely brilliant!
  19. I guess only Lloyd Isgrove jumping naked out of a cake could better it for you.
  20. Nor me, too slow for a start.
  21. Agent has confirmed it. http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbold/udenlandsk_fodbold/engelsk_fodbold/PremierLeague/agent-bekraefter-hoejbjerg-skifter-for-kaempe-beloeb-til-premier-league/6182898
  22. http://www.just-football.com/2015/06/pierre-emil-hojbjerg-already-a-better-player-than-tottenham-star-christian-eriksen/
  23. Based on our accounts, progress over the past number of seasons, expansion/improvement of the training ground, dealing with "meltdowns", managerial appointments, player improvement, strategy and general philosophy/ethos then I would say we can easily say that we are well run, as have a number of individuals and organisations who have no emotional attachment to SFC whatsoever. Of course we should not be complacent as happened post 2003 Cup Final.
  24. Clueless. You clearly have no idea how well we are run or what that actually means.
