Two poor teams although we look marginally more dangerous...without looking dangerous. We always seem to try to play awkward looking short balls forward when in good positions. Don't like Davis and JWP in the same team.
I've been lucky enough to enjoy hospitality at a number of Premier League clubs and can honestly say that the product at Saints is one of the poorest so I am not surprised that they struggle to sell the boxes. I went with one company to the Liverpool home game last year and someone had even managed to spell the company's name wrong on the box door - pretty poor when they were spending a few thousand on the box for the match. Saints could learn from Chelsea hospitality wise - a top notch experience.
Wrong they are contractually obliged to be available for the media when the club asks them to be. I doubt after Thursday's shambles he would have been falling over himself to speak to the press - I am not sure exactly what else he could say.
Knowing our luck we will, he will be bloody amazing for the next 9 months and then bugger off on a free (with Alpine going into meltdown that we didn't sort his contract out). Maybe.
He was in the De Vere with his agent (I assume) on Thursday night, well technically early Friday morning - I noticed them post drowning my sorrows, they were sat on a sofa by the lift going through some documents. He looked sad.
Yeah but we knew he had already signed. Suhari mentioned Skacel and somehow I had forgotten about that, didn't he actually sign on the pitch - what a disappointment he turned out to be.
The best chairman are anonymous - be careful what you wish for - imagine having one of the dildo twins from West Ham. Even the likes of Jeff Mostyn can't seem to keep away from a camera since Bournemouth got promoted.
