Didn't deserve to lose but got to take your chances against the top teams. Forster had very little to do in reality.

More likely to be a utility type player - I can see the Alvaro Gonzalez links having some mileage.

Lol brilliant analogy.

One of my favourite Saints players - will never forget his emotional send off, a stark contrast to some of our recent "heroes" who couldn't care less about the club and couldn't wait to leave.

Jonno Quick

When I saw the OP I was really hoping that this would be about an upgrade to the PA system or improved catering....until these things happen I refuse to be positive about the Saints.

I get it, we are signing Blind

Are you related to ART?

I can see Boruc going and us getting in a competent cheap option who would probably be ok playing the reserve goalkeeper role - like Matt Jones at Belenenses who we were linked with in June.

I think its more a reference to the sinking of the Belgrano and The Sun headline at the time.

Maybe going forward we should base our entire transfer policy on watching a player in one game. Or in Forster's case we could trust the judgement of the England goalkeeper coach who has worked with him at close quarters and can make a professional judgement in respect of his relative strengths and weaknesses.

Sounds like this board - "oh xyz is leaving, good he is crap (even though he isn't)"

Twitter rumour that Forster fee agreed £10m:https://twitter.com/celticrumours/status/497788074152456192 The person tweeting seems to have some credibility on the Celtic boards.

It doesn't. You use multiple log ins for a reason.

I am not convinced that the board are that sophisticated.

Samaras and Schelotto can have a "hair off" in the dressing room to entertain the other substitutes.

You are welcome

We won't know if he is a good signing until he has played. I wouldn't bank on finding informed opinions on the forum either.

No, let's write him off before he has kicked a ball for us, that is the Southampton way.

Hicham Aboucherouane

Who?
