It would show in the accounts eventually, yeah. So what? Doesn't mean it can't happen. It's happened to other clubs in the past. If there is a complete absence of communication from the owners then of course people will speculate. The club should see that there is plenty of negative speculation and do something about it. The fact that there continues to be zero communication is itself indicative of a problem, IMO.

He hasn't got any sort of point at all. His post was the purest bilge. This is a Saints messageboard and the ownership of the club is a topic of interest. As a topic for discussion it doesn't need an accompanying manifesto to justify it. There's **** all you can do about the team selection, the manager, the referee etc... probably sensible topics for discussion on a football messageboard though. - "I hope Stephens doesn't play" - "what are you going to do about it? Eh? Eh? Wind your neck in." Smart messageboard.

Are you Mark Lawrenson?

I have no means to communicate with him. Initial questions would be: - why have you never made the slightest attempt to engage with the UK fans? - why did you buy the football club? - what are your plans for the football club? - who is in charge of football at the club? Ie. Who is Les Reed's replacement? - it was reported you needed to borrow money to complete the purchase; are you reliant on club income to repay that money? - why did Kat retain 20%? - how did the club choose LD Sports as it's sponsor? Are you concerned that their website was full of bull and infringed the IP of various news organisations? That would do for starters. The fact the club hasn't addressed any of this previously, suggests to me that there is no real communication between the owners and the people running things on a day to day basis. This is supported by the reports that the club couldn't answer the recent PL questions about the hostile investment in Lander: they simply didn't know and weren't given the information.

I'm not sure you understand what an auditor does or what the concerns are.

Don't ask questions FFS. It's all fine. Yours, Prof. Pangloss.

It's 45 minutes for misusing an apostrophe.

No, not a peep. That was my point. You're struggling a bit on here. I shall leave you alone.

Other sports with significantly less funding than football manage rolling subs fine, so if it’s too much for football officials to deal with then that speaks volumes as to their general competence.

Sue Cook’s pulled out!

Any thoughts on the substance of my post?

Anyone know how much it costs to get two boys kitted out?

Not a valid topic on this forum?

Where did you read this, please?

It's not "based on nothing", is it? It's based on: - sponsor being an obscure start-up -sponsor having a website full of palpable bull As for Gao, reservations about him could be fairly based on: - reported to have been involved in criminal corruption - struggled to complete the initial purchase and reportedly incurred a lot of debt in doing so - Chinese business appears to have gone down the pan and been subject to hostile take-over - convoluted SFC ownership structure involving companies in Hong Kong and BVI - has barely uttered a peep about why he bought the club or what his plans are If we hadn't appointed Ralph H and had got that wrong, we'd probably be looking at financial ruin right now and a slide down the league. Actually, no, you're right. Everyone is an unreasonable reactionary and you, Fair Soggy, Arbiter of Moral Righteousness, Bringer of the Calm Head, Scrutineer of Evidence, Pied Piper of Maidstone, are correct when you say it's 50/50.

No, I'm talking about their use of dodgy sponsorship deals to breach the spending rules when they got promoted under the Thais. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/feb/21/leicester-settlement-football-league-ffp

They cheated their way out of the Championship though. Sorry.

AFCB will be dangerous down the flanks with him, Mings, Ibe and Gradel.

Yeah, that's a bad one.

Can't afford a completely new one. There aren't many newer used models on the market. And, in any case, it's a fairly old car, in the sense that they haven't changed a huge amount since it first came out, other than some front cosmetics around 2013. So a 2015, 2016, 2014 etc. are all fairly similar. It's only done 15k miles anyway so it's pretty new mechanically.

It's grey, not black?
