I think if someone's posting some third hand rumour then fine but they should probably make it clear it's just a rumour. It's when people say something as FACT when it isn't then start whingeing about how things change when their FACT turns out to be ******** that winds people up.

So if he is, it's a good insult?
-

If he is being a plonker, I would simply tell him that the longer he goes on being a plonker the less likely we are to listen to any offers next summer (and that January is a no-no regardless).

Yoshida is playing in Saudi Arabia tomorrow night. He'll be fine for the weekend; he'll be back in the country by Wednesday evening I expect after a not-too-strenuous flight and there's no reason why he can't train normally on Thursday and Friday. Lemina is playing in Ivory Coast tomorrow night. Same applies to him but with less of a time difference between Ivory Coast and here than between Saudi and here. Basically, there's no reason why they shouldn't both play.

Walk out every time he gets on the ball.

Fatty done a nuke: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-41139445 OldNick, are you #itk?

I'm not sure why people keep banging on about the Wolves match. He was probably our best player that night.
-
Three goals from open play at home since the start of last season? ****ing hell!
-
He regularly tracks back and wins the ball. He's no worse at defending than Tadic.
-
Gabbi and Pelle are very different players. Gabbi needs the ball released more quickly.
-
It's worth giving him a run as No.10. Let's see what he can do. He's got a higher potential ceiling than any of our other forwards.

I've seen Yoshida and Stephens play and that's what I was commenting on. We gifted Swansea two great chances. I made no comment on Hoedt, I simply noted that there is something wrong with having Stephens and Yoshida as a partnership for a prolonged period. How's our plan to extract maximum value for VVD by rushing through a sale at the last minute going?
-
There's only two DDs in that picture.

That's a limited context for "as good". It ignores sovereignty and immigration. Like it or not, those are reasons why a lot of people voted "out". Rather than constantly trumpeting the virtues of "ever increasing union", the remain campaign should have tackled immigration and sovereignty head on and explained why a leave vote wouldn't deliver the Olde England that those voters wistfully / retardedly imagine.

Apart from their collective inability to defend crosses in the air, no.
-
Long? Yoshida is very bi-footed (although prefers right foot) as illustrated by The9s wrongful impression of him being a leftie.
-
Yoshida is right footed. He's just good enough to play left back as well.
-
At a guess, The9.

There was a load of info you were going to reveal on 1 Sept though, right?

No. They will still sign an initial 4 years or so and if they want to leave after 2 or 3 years then they will need to not sign an extension. Even if players will only sign a 3 year-or-so initial contract, with the marketing inflating then even if we sell them after 2 years we should still get a good return. If Virgil refused an extension he would have 3 years left now and we would definitely be looking to move him on next summer to avoid his value decreasing as he approaches his final year. The idea we are unilaterally curtailing players' opportunities at top clubs is fundamentally inaccurate. They need to understand that if they sign a contract for higher wages and longer term security without a release clause then they might have to honour it. If they don't want to do that, they don't have to. Most of the players we sign are from "lesser" leagues and there's no guarantee they will be a success in the PL. Most of them aren't so arrogant as not to appreciate that and so they will still want the financial comfort blanket of a reasonably long initial contract.

Think Arsenal have got the "big team, done ****" award pretty much in the bag.
-
Hoedt is, hopefully, an upgrade on Stephens and Yoshida. I think you're talking ********. If we wanted the best deal we should have made it clear we were open to offers and got City, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. dipping their toes as well. You don't wait until the last minute where the logistics and financials of doing a deal are challenging.
