Exactly, of course not!
-
Sanchez is nursing a knock this weekend as well....
-
Oh yes, I agree with this too. The average man on the street comes armed with all the gravitas of a comprehensive education and that's the last thing that is needed.
-
It's partly a lack of education. Most football ex-pros of current punditry age would have had barely any formal schooling and are often from disadvantaged parts of the country. Compare their output to ex-pro cricket and rugby pundits and it is hardly surprising that those with a decent education (even when gained at a minor public school or a solid grammar school) are far more comprehensible and reasoned.
-
Exactly. The best football pundits are Tim Vickery, James Richardson etc. but they get shunted into obscure slots so mouth-breathing dinlows like Sutton and Wright can spew their intestinal smear over the airwaves.

Nice synopsis of recent posts / media reports AR-10. Thanks.

I reckon he'll be on the bench. Revised prediction: FF CS MY JS RB OR SD JWP NR DT/SB MG Sub: ST/PG, JP, JB, ML, DT/SB, CA, SL Means both PEH and Clasie miss out on the squad altogether, along with Targett, McQueen, Gardos and Gallagher.

****ing early kick off against Everton. Load of ****e. And the Brighton game being moved to Sunday is a crock of ****e too.
-
Come off it. Van Dijk Yoshida Romeu Gabbiadini Cedric Bertrand Redmond all much more consistent.
-
That's totally inspiring. I'm off to punch a horse.

So, if US or S. Korea strikes first China will apparently get stuck in on I'm so Ronery's side. If Ronery strikes first China will "stay neutral". Principled.

It would be good if we held firm until the window closes then go public with whatever we've got on Liverpool (assuming we do have stuff). I think the club's current stance of keeping largely quiet whilst the window is open (because we can't control all the variables, however resolute we are) is the correct one.

It's the Worthington cup for ****'s sake. I've got a bottle opener.
-
Ooh. I'm not up to date with this season's principal partners. Who has the best principal partner?
-
Will it? Why's that?
-
And with Lemina being added, Davis can play further forwards if needed.
-
Gray has potential and could be a very good player but also similar flaws in his game to Redmond (decision making, basically). He would be a pointless signing for us unless Tadic is leaving. I also wouldn't want him blocking Sims when he is back from injury. I think Sims could be top class.
-
I'd laugh if they signed a better left back and didn't let him leave
-
I thought Frazer Richarlison was unlucky not to get a bit more match time when we got promoted. Good to see him get a second crack at it.
-
In fairness, there are a lot of very sensible posters calling out the dinlows and only one or two who seem like absolute bellends. I'd take that on here.
-
Retard alert.
-
Nice one, thanks. I will edit.
-
Edit - I didn't even name Gazza. He is bound to be loaned out unless we don't want to register Taylor in the squad.
-
NB. Josh Sims is under 21 so can be added to the 25 without causing any disruption. Likewise Jake Flannigan qualifies as an U21.
-
1 Forster* 2 Taylor* 3 McCarthy* 4 Cedric 5 Pied 6 Van Dijk / New 7 Yoshida 8 Stephens* [9 Bednarek] 10 Gardos 11 Bertrand* 12 McQueen* 13 Targett* 14 Romeu 15 Lemina 16 Clasie 17 PEH 18 Davis* 19 JWP* 20 Tadic 21 Redmond* 22 Boufal 23 Gabbi 24 Austin* 25 Long* 26 Gallagher* * = homegrown (I think). We need to name 8 of those in the 25 or give up a place. Edit thanks to Saint Clark: Bednarek was U21 on 1 Jan this year so does not count towards the numbers. I don't think any of the others were under 21 on 1 January this year so we are right on the limit. If we are also looking to bring in a loan GK and maybe another loan player then unless those were under 21 on January 1 we will need to cut players from the above in order to accommodate them. Maybe McCarthy will be cut if his injury is bad. Presumably Gardos / Gallagher / Clasie are the others most at risk.
