  1. Corp Ho. Hilarious every time. PMSL etc... ad nauseum.
  2. Agree.
  3. Yes, it's obvious who the real ****s on this thread are and it isn't the naive and scared teen.
  4. He scored the first Saints goal I saw live at The Dell. Hero.
  5. These are all nice: More lightweight: These are my faves:
  6. Fulham have just scored a carbon copy of it.
  7. Agree. But you're still a laughing stock and a ****.
  8. Exactly. All the numpties who say, "we looked nervous" are simply betraying their yellow-bellies. They were the nervous ones no doubt, but don't project it onto the players. We didn't look nervous at all. If anything we were too comfortable. Peterboro's performance after the red card was the single most defensive display of football I have ever seen in a Saints match. If you're 2-0 up and the opposition are content to stand 30 yards off your centre backs, of course you're not going to bomb forwards like loonies and give them what they want - an opportunity to counter. Adkins is right that at times individual execution was poor which meant an extra touch was needed or a pass wasn't accurate enough but we did all the right things in terms of how we played. And it's not as though we didn't have chances to get a third. Lambert missed a sitter, De Ridder nearly scored, Lambert and Connolly both had good chances to shoot around the box. It was a comfortable win. I can understand some nerves in the crowd because it was too easy. It felt weird. Peterboro were just stood there watching us play. That's odd. But I bet you the players weren't nervous.
  9. Did he get booked for lifting his shirt up?
  10. Ooh, someone's been reading the David Icke forum! Surely what we need to know us whether he bummered shape shifting lizards or not?

You reckon? You think Sven would pick a right back with a better delivery from deep because he'd identified a particular weakness in the opposition? You reckon Cotteril, or Clough would? Or Pardew, or Burley? Sorry, but I think that's ********. Most managers develop one style and stick to it. Plan B is to hoof it if you need a goal urgently. You see precious little evidence if the sort of thought and planning that goes in to tactically selecting a different right back.

Genius. How many managers at this level would even think about bringing in the "second choice" right back as part of their team's offensive gameplan which involves crossing from deeper than usual. Great manager.
  13. What about smellies? They should have to purchase an exclusion zone too.
  14. Nonsense, IMO. Boro were far better than Derby.
  15. Football is a leisure activity. If you can't afford it, tough ****. It's a market. If prices are too high demand will fall and prices will drop. It's ****ing simple. Instead of moaning maybe stop smoking, stuffing overpriced grease in your faces, boozing, gambling and make a choice based on your circumstances. If sacrifices are necessary, so be it. You can guarantee most of the moaners are a bit dense with little sense of perspective and completely misguided and childish priorities.
  16. Yep. Get the first team back out. Davis Frazer Jose Jos Foxy Schteve Chappers Deano Lallana Guly Sir Rickie Bench: Bart, Cork, Harding, Connors, Barney (if fit enough)
  17. It makes a nice sound if you splatter over a newspaper.
  18. I really liked Optimus Prime when I was a nip'.
  19. You succeeded!
  20. You mean dribble slowly in a straight line past some of the most woeful defending ever seen? I could've scored that goal and I would've done it in a more stylish manner too.
  21. Why do people think Gorkks was a preferred target? He obviously wasn't. We had a deal done but decided not to sign him. Warnock said so. Gorkks apparently said so. For whatever reason, and rightly or wrongly, all the evidence is that Gorkks was the last-resort option being kept on the back burner. Jemal was clearly a target but that fell through. I don't think we were ever seriously interested in Fontaine - something going on there, I think.
  22. Quite right. Guly was good against West Ham and Derby. Connolly has been out of form for about half a dozen games.
  23. Lol. Funny how some people think he was good. I think he was average at best. Mind you, he had to play with uber-defenders like James and Skacel.
  24. It was obvious de Ridder was playing a wall-pass with Harding. It was terrible refereeing. Still, everyone makes mistakes.
