  1. No, it's because JJB have some limited edition Air Max.
  2. Guly, Lallana, Holmes... there's only so much cover you need.
  3. I would guess it is not.
  4. Haha, wait until they play Brighton!
  5. Not really. Makes commercial sense not to announce to the world at large the price you do business at. But football is populated by mongs so it's little wonder silly practice is rife.
  6. It's a shame if he leaves but he is not one of our top 5 players at the moment. Fonte, Cork, Lallana, Connolly and Lambert are all more important to the squad. Bale and Walcott were our best players at the time we sold them. He isn't. It's a shame but it's not a big problem.
  7. You're wrong. Simple as that.
  8. He was having an off day but his ling kicks are, on the whole, supremely accurate.
  9. In second thoughts I would give Martin another match instead of Jaidi.
  10. I would pick: -------------------Bart-------------- Butter-------Jaidi---Seaborne-----Dicko de Rid----Chappers---Morgan-----Holmes ----------Doble------Barney---------- I'd give de Ridder the first half and then get him off at half time. The bench wouldn't have any of the starters from yesterday on it.
  11. Just watched the highlights. 1st and third goals were even better than I thought. Connolly and Lallana are top, top, players at this level. Also, for those who say Guly can't play wing, watch the highlights again - he might not be a spectacular winger in the sense of skinning players but he does create openings. Only one legitimate penalty shout in the match and that was ours, when Chaplow got taken out having just hit the post.

    Bookies

I hardly ever bet at the ground anyway. If i'm going to bet I do it in town first. If they are skates I definitely won't be betting in the ground.

    I am confused.
  14. me too! We seem to have a lot of hard of thinking who enjoy waiting at the first turnstile they come to.
  15. No, that's a myth. Hoops will make someone look slimmer.
  16. The front cover had a picture of Cortese on it. It is available in advance online so the usual weirdos got all excited about it on here a couple of days ago. Crab was taking the mickey out of those weirdos.

It depends if people take you seriously or not. If they do and set themselves up to combat you they should be able to do so quite easily. As you are pretty carp. If they don't bother then your "unorthodox" style of play (think of all the worse bits of South American football, I dunno a dirty, time-wasting, diving Uruguayan team or something) might catch a few people out.

    Dean Hammond

    Really? Don't remember that.

    Rallyboy classic.
  20. I agree with Hypo - Hammond has a superb body.
  21. It's how the smart people do business.

    Aaron Martin

I think he had a really good game. He had a couple of dodgy moments with the ball at feet but that is probably to be expected at his stage of his career and playing on the biggest stage yet. He's never going to be Beckenbauer but he did all his primary jobs very well - he is very solid in the air, has a decent turn of foot and was well positioned. Leeds' strikers weren't the greatest; will he be able to deal with multi-million pound football legends like Maynard, Long, Sharpe? We shall see. "Possibly" is my current opinion.
  23. Roger, I'm sorry. I thought you were being a bellend but it turns out you were performing a reductio ad absurdum on Patred et al. My mistake. Let's meet for drinks and a bromance.
  24. I appreciate your honest response and your invitation. That is a bit soft for me though. But thanks.
