  1. But is that a problem? It's not very engratiating but it's byte way of modern football. Atletico Madrid will lose personnel. Yaya seems to be maneouvering for an exit. £50m for Luiz...! It's crap buy it's the modern game. Still, I would rather have a punt than go for a steady appointment. What use is consistency if it only delivers mediocrity?
  2. Witterington for me. With Super Kelv as number two.
  3. Was it Shirley McDonald's?
  4. Or.... Saint RICHMOND, please go away, YOU simple-HEADED retard.
  5. I'm getting a bit annoyed about Veho. Tinpot tweeting is not encouraging behaviour. No doubt they will have a beer with some of the Super Fans though and will be part of "us" having "our" club "back".
  6. We're not at all. The difference is Suarez and Sturridge. The rest of our team is better.
  7. Great post.
  8. It has been proven that wearing red can confer psychological benefits ( viz my earlier post about martial arts scoring, which is referenced in the first line of the article linked above). Clearly that doesn't mean you can bung eleven spastics in red shirts and expect them to do a job on Real Madrid. It might, however, mean that the psychological effect of red has an impact at times which is beneficial. It's really not that hard to understand ( although no surprise that the usual suspects seem to struggle).
  9. Indeed. Was about to post the same thing.
  10. A trial was done on scoring Tae Kwon Do matches. Participants wear red or blue. Historic matches were shown via tv to judges. A batch had the colours altered so the red/blue were swapped. Apparently a significant number of matches were scored in favour of people who had the altered red kit on when, in fact, they had been wearing blue and had lost when the match was originally scored with them wearing the blue. Something like that anyway.
  11. So you blame Lambert?
  12. You can even win La Liga and get to the Champions League final and end up selling your best players.
  13. Didn't you say he was staying last time you posted?
  14. Say what you like, but that leap when he buries the first goal is of inhuman proportions. Athelete, poacher, legend, Quick. Shout out to Barnard for the third finish. I remember that game well. A stand out moment of the Liebherr era.
  15. Interesting stats and backs up my personal opinion which is that our First XI is Champions League quality already. The problem, as is obvious, is that we simply don't have the depth at GK, striker and centre back ( and arguably attacking mid) to maintain that form over a season.
  16. Never has a username been less apt.
  17. I would rather watch an advert than listen to ITV's commentators and pundits.

    Dani Osvaldo

Why? Those comments are perfectly reasonable. He says he's disappointed but the other forwards deserved it. Maybe he's starting to regret ****ting his own bed here!
  19. It's obvious that Liverpool are a one man team. See how England get on with Henderson, Gerrard and the infantile Sturridge. Shiiiite, no doubt.
  20. 6million squid would make him one of the top ten best paid managers in da world innit!
  21. I can also endorse The Oak Inn at Bank near Lyndhurst. Proper forest feel and some great food. Not cheap but then few good things are.
  22. Cortese may have dismissed the bids. As a consequence we may have had little money to spend on incoming transfers without borrowing. In turn, I doubt we would have done any better next season as the squad (in terms of genuine quality) would have still been too small. If we accept one or two bids but sign four or five good players we may well do better next season. I say, chill out.
  23. This is probably your best ever post. Well done!
  24. Cole would be welcome from me if he's happy coming off the bench and doesn't expect silly money.
