Let's be honest - the Open is a bit of a joke tournament. If it was held in another country we would dismiss it as farcical. No one in their right mind would play golf by the seaside today. It's a complete lottery.

I agree, and I think there are a few things we have done over the last couple of years that have been experimental. It's nice to be in the financial position where we have the luxury to try things that depart slightly from the traditional football model. It always makes me chuckle when people point at an aspect of our commercial activities and say "99% of other clubs do it differently". Yes, and 99% of those clubs have terrible finances.
