  1. On the contrary, I am one of Oakley's biggest fans. It is also a massive disservice to Matt to suggest the two are similar players as Oakley has far more attributes to his play than Schneiderlin. I'm not saying Schneiderlin is rubbish. I just think he is overrated by the people on here who are still convinced Arsene Wenger would love to snap him up If he ever gets a regular run in the Premier League I will eat my hat, potential or not. I'm not going to say he'll never play there as there are some examples of utter tripe midfielders who have (Prutton, Delap etc).
  2. I can't remember the last time we had a player who you feel is less likely to score though. There was a geezer behind me with a walking stick more likely to pop up with a goal today. Blimey, even Franny posed more of a goal threat.
  3. I agree with that too.
  4. Did anyone see that **** in Block 42? I don't think he goes to many home matches but I'm sure I've seen him at a fair few aways.
  5. No, I'm completely right.
  6. Do You Want To Write Like This!?
  7. Has she seen his nob? Is it big?
  8. I won't slag Mills because I haven't seen much of him but I think it's pretty clear that we need to sign some cover for Harding.
  9. I guess people are impressed with some sideways 40 yard passes! It's actually quite hard to pick a MOM today as everyone was ok, no one was really good and no one was really bad. Personally, I think Perry and Harding were our best two performers in terms of winning their personal battles with the opposition.
  10. How the hell can you say Harding was poor?
  11. imo you're mad.
  12. The Holloway one is the best.
  13. never a red card in a squillion years.
  14. They were alright but we defended pretty comfortably.
  15. Really though? It's usually fairly pedestrian and predictable IMO.
  16. Lol that I've started a Quashie debate. I suppose the point I was making was that Schneiderlin still has a long way to improve before I will get excited by him. I think the reason he looks a bit better this year is because we've dropped down a division. Not convinced he is much better than an average League One player. Quashie on the other hand, was a very good Championship player.
  17. Doubt it, given that they won't come up against each other much.
  18. Doubt it; unless Quashie is a lot worse than he used to be.
  19. Quashie will make Schneiderlin look like a total mug when we play MK Dons.
  20. I think Schneidelin only looks better this seeason (and still looks pretty average at that) because we're in the third division and that is his level.
  21. Another nail in the coffin of English football's most disreputable outfit. Can't wait for D-Day.
  22. Do not agree with that at all. He managed to look "nice" today without actually doing anything. I don't think he or Hammond made a single attacking run all match. The reason Lambert and Connolly looked out of sorts was because the midfield created, with the exception of a couple of decent crosses from Antonio and Lallana, absolutely nothing.
  23. Completely "ok" performance in as much as we did enough to win. Hopefully a few players were playing within themself with an eye on the Colchester game but I suspect the reality is that we just didn't play very well. Perry and Harding were our best players. We created absolutely nothing for Lambert and Connolly. Bart's distribution was awful. Waigo should start every match.
  24. He should have got six months in prison.
  25. Even if it was once Pagan (which is a strange argument I've never really understood) then as it is not now, it evidently has evolved. "Evolve" is quite apposite as Christmas in its modern incarnation is clearly much more succesful than some droopy-brained druid crap.
