  1. Did it happen at 11.11am? It has been as dark as night here since then, so guessing it has. S^£&, and I was up in hospitality for this game.
  2. And so say all of us!
  3. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Will ask Nigel Adkins about Boruc & Gaston Ramirez at Thursday's press conference. Nigel's comments on Boruc were?
  4. Well done to the Club and Players!
  5. Ok, he will do nicely! Hmm, reminds me of me at his age, except for the blond hair.
  6. Flying in this morning. Due to play tomorrow.
  7. Yep, it was 1-0.
  8. Thanks for the reply. Not the one I was thinking of. Can I have another go? Caught the early excursion train from Terminus Station to Hull for an FA Cup game. Must have been mid 60s. Took hours to get there and it was bitter cold and the fog was so bad, we were unable to see past the half way line. Yep, we lost.
  9. I have in the past but not now. Too worried about the reaction around me. I just don't fancy a smack around the head. Too many 'tough' guys that take offence. Gone are the days when you applauded an opponents great play/goal.
  10. Where was that located?
  11. ESSRUU! Letsbeavenue!
  12. Ditto the above! Just wonderful, fantastic atmosphere! At Villa for the heart break of Law's goal in the Semi. There to see Cliff Huxfords heroics at the Dell in the draw with Forest. Too many more to list
  13. To be honest, I'm lost for words. Thanks for the feedback.
  14. Did you listen to his interviews after the Newcastle/Norwich games? More along those lines. I am begining to think it's like Groundhog Day.
  15. Started at Springhill in 1956. Thanks FF for posting, an enjoyable trip down memory lane. Re winning the match ball, I did win it once but the bigger thrill was when I was trying to force open the corner of the big gate in Milton road to sneek in, the match ball came over the wall into the road. I was off down Burlington Road like a sprinter with the ball. (Is it too late to say sorry for not returning it?)
  16. Have you thought about seeking help for your hate feelings?
  17. I don't go away these days but I get feed back from a pal who goes to most away games. Had an email last night from him and words included were, 'inept, worst display for ages, gave L'pool too much respect, looked knackered, defensive lineup, no pace etc'. I take it from the above that he wasn't impressed.
  18. Wow! Someone with a sense of humour. All you other miserable sods, get a life, sorry sense of humour! I found it very funny and great effort from Sammy Saint.
  19. That is what I'm hearing. True? No idea but I trust my contact. As for calling the young keeper a clown, behave yourself!
  20. It was you! I was sat next to you Sunday, I wondered what the bad smell was! I'm getting a seat move for this Wed'.
  21. And to think, I pay a part of my pension to read crap/stupid threads like this. I wish you had posted this last week, I then could have saved money by not renewing my subscription. Why not ask, 'which player has the fattest arse, worst teeth' etc etc. OP, were you bored when you 'thought' to post this?
  22. I first saw Eric play in the '56-'57 season. If my memory is correct, it was in a game at the Dell V Newport? I thought he was very skillful. RIP Eric. As for John Christie, John can be seen outside SMS reception every home game. Always nice to chat to.
  23. I really shouldn't laugh but this did make me chuckle. Back to the ?, Gazza as AB is in need of getting a lot fitter. Reminds me of a slim Billy Bunter.
  24. Gazza in goal for me. Think AB needs to get himself a lot fitter.
