  1. United have won so many trophies (including the CL and umpteen PLs) since 1976 why would they care about our FA cup win?
  2. Currently standing second in the biggest waste of money ever table (just behind the head-butting nutter).
  3. I think the answer is to buy another Charlie Austin (good scorer but injury prone). Maybe two more. It's ideal: we get them cheap, they won't bugger off after one season, and hopefully at least one will be fit while the other(s) are in the physio room.
  4. Got their goal too. But there's no denying he plays much better on the left (for us anyway). Ditto Redmond on the right.
  5. Tadic on the right, Redmond on the left? I hope that's a typo.
  6. Which would be considerably reduced of course if we go down.
  7. Nowhere near the quality of crosses into the box as Cuco had for us IMO.
  8. MLT was excluded, and instead those footballing giants Batty and Butt went on the plane.
  9. That could also be an argument for taking the league win: an extra 2 or 3 points.
  10. Nigel Pearson.
  11. You obviously didn't read the fine print. If you say that, not only do we lose both, the genie will also turn you into a frog.
  12. If it's survival vs cup win I'd choose survival (another thread). But that's not the question here, so I'd choose the semi-final win. We'd still have a decent chance of survival if we lose against them in the league, since we don't have the clown in charge any more. And the other winnable/6 pointer games against West Ham, Swansea etc. are more important.
  13. And all three were sold just before Puel came in.
  14. No comparison, we were safe that time so could afford to play a weakened team. This time we are guaranteed to be playing our strongest team in the league game against them, for obvious reasons.
  15. Corrected for you. Here's a fact: We’ll start scoring if we buy a striker who can score goals. Something Les Reed seems incapable of understanding.
  16. Yes he's 100 times better on the left, ditto Redmond on the right. I was disappointed that they both were on the wrong sides again. Hopefully MH will figure this out before West Ham (unlike the dunce who's left who could never figure it out).
  17. At least the equation is simple for us this year. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?56460-Europa-League-Qualification-question
  18. So in summary, he's not that good in the air, can't tackle, is weak on the ball, and has poor positioning. And also is a striker who doesn't score. I can't comment on his passing, because he usually doesn't have the ball long enough to try to make one. Pretty impressive for our record signing.
  19. Unfortunately not possible, SG has been loaned out for the whole season with no recall. Another genius move by Reed.
  20. And put in some damned good crosses.
  21. Not completely, unfortunately.
  22. I know revenge is dish best served cold, but isn't that taking it a bit far?
  23. Yes, let's hope the first leg isn't a blowout (either way), so that they have everything to play for in the second leg (unlike our match, which should be a dead rubber for them).
