  1. Unfortunately he has shown zero ability to learn any lessons.
  2. It doesn't even need a good manager to have figured that out, just one with half a brain. Even Wigley would've known what to do.
  3. You're being unfair on buffoons.
  4. I don't have any problem with less than bright people ... unless they get into a high position.
  5. That's what I thought before, but after his catalogue of mistakes and never learning I think it's simply a case he doesn't have a clue.
  6. Yes, it's now clear that the clown isn't very bright. Nice chap I'm sure, but probably a room temperature IQ. It's incredible to believe that he beat out half a billion other sperm.
  7. You mean seems "intelligent" like Peter Sellers in Being There?
  8. I'm coming to the conclusion that the clown isn't very bright.
  9. He gets that wrong most of the time too (Redmond on left, Tadic on right, taking half the season to drop the statue in goal, not using Austin in our crucial early matches).
  10. Romeu should've been rested to avoid getting a yellow. BTW it shouldn't be necessary, it's bullshit that yellows/reds in cups carry over to league games (and vice versa). They should be counted separately (like European matches).
  11. I don't know, maybe playing Redmond and Tadic on the wrong wings, or taking umpteen games to realize he needed a goal scorer (Austin) up front and to replace the statue in goal with someone who could actually move. Or making random substitutions that make no sense, rather than ones that counter the other teams changes. Or taking a solid 8th place/Cup final squad (which was strengthened with Lamina and Hoedt) into the relegation zone. It's subtle things like that I guess.
  12. Our match is listed in upcoming matches on https://www.reddit.com/r/soccerstreams/ So fingers crossed.
  13. Well if he's a flop and can't score, but still keeps Austin (when fit) and Gabbi out of the team because he's the clown's signing, then he could. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
  14. Puel out!!!!!
  15. A non-goalscoring striker hand-picked by a clown of a manager, who clearly won't be leaving now. My excitement level is currently 1/10. But at least he's a striker!
  16. And therein lies the rub.
  17. But apparently we are going to waste £20M on another Long who can't score goals.
  18. You mean apart from most of us who said we needed to bring in a striker ever since Mane and Pelle left?
  19. Maybe it's also because of their complete balls-up last January, as well as their striker balls-up in last summer?
  20. Yes but not in the same league as this chap.
  21. Saints team when they lost 5-0 to Arsenal (a few days after their League cup semi-final victory over Liverpool). Lewis Martina Stephens Gardos McQueen Højbjerg Reed Clasie Sims Long Isgrove
  22. I'm wondering why do some struggle with the difference between 'X did a poor job at this club' and 'X did a decent job at this club under the circumstances'.
  23. It certainly was, and that's something we usually do very well. This shows we have a decent players in most areas (minus the gaping holes up front, and a possibly a VVD replacement). There's no reason that with a decent manager and plugging the striker hole that we can't get out of this mess.
  24. That would be nice, but a goal scoring CF is infinitely more important (along with a non-clown manager of course).
  25. And also shows how crap our manager is.
