That's true, but most of us agree if a starting line up is decent or crap. For example against WBA I would've had PEH in ahead of Romeu, but overall I (like most of us) was happy with the line up. Let's hope MP The Lesser is now capable of the doing the same thing from now on.
Absolutely, by a mile. He couldn't wait to jump ship after just one season. At least Lallana gave us a number of good years (helping us up from L1), and we got about 2.5 seasons out of VVD, followed by £75m.
Such a rule change would make it even harder for the assistant ref. Much simpler to determine if just one part of the body is offside (which they still get wrong too often), than having to add the complication of also deciding (in a split second) if another part of the body may be onside.
Almost his best side: I don't know why Romeu was picked over PEH. But 10 out of 11 right is way above his average, shame it's taken 26 matches for him to get this far. No complaints about any of his subs today either.
Will he continue doing this, or revert back to cluelessness?
If I was being paid millions for being crap at my job, and my incompetent employers refused to fire me, you could call me anything you want. I'd just laugh all the way to the bank.
Now there's a manager who won't take shit from any of his players. He did very well in his short time with us, set up Leicester very nicely for their incredible season. Bring him back!
I have zero sympathy for him. He's earning millions for a job in which he's completely out of his depth. Yes, one would've thought he would know more about football than anyone on this forum, but it appears he's as thick as a brick.
I never thought I'd see the day, but the current **** makes Branfoot look semi-decent (he knew how to grind out results, and never relegated us). The only previous manager that I wouldn't take over the current **** is Saggy.
Chin up, it's still early over there. When I wake up over here in sunny California tomorrow, it'll be about 3 pm your time. I expect him to be gone by then.
I have to offer my sincere apologies. To
Steve Wigley,
Ian Branfoot,
Jan Poortvliet,
Stuart Gray,
and above all, clowns everywhere. Comparing this **** with you all was rude and insulting, and I am deeply sorry.
This ^^^.
It wasn't the fans who got him sacked, it was probably certain players because he lost the dressing room. If so, we know who to blame, and is a carbon copy of the Sturruck -> Wigley disaster.
