Yep, I now wouldn't be very upset if we go out playing with reserves, if it ultimately means survival. Unthinkable 6 months ago. God, that's how low this clown has dragged us.

An Argentinian version of Gray. Completely and totally out of his depth. He should've been sacked weeks ago.

There are enough cherries there for a big pie.

My thoughts too. And it could've undermined a manager who's trying to push them harder. It's a bit like one parent letting their kid eat junk food all day, and the other trying to get him to eat his veggies and lay off the Mars bars and crisps. A losing battle. Any resemblance to the Munster family is purely coincidental.

If that's correct that's a shit load of circumstantial evidence that he's crap, and we are well rid of him. At the very least I think it's safe to say we haven't lost a brilliant coach.

With relegation almost a certainty, who stays and who goes?

But he still hasn't been right yet. My money's on the broken clock.
-
And Puel was sacked because he was unpopular with the players. I think the moral to be learned is that we need a quality manager who won't take shit from the players (RK certainly had that) and not be their best mates. And get rid of Black.

He would be great, but I'd prefer Ronaldo or Messi. -
Watson I presume.

Fixed it for you.

Hazard was bearing in at goal at full flow, not a cheap free kick. Maya got booked for it, not because it was nasty (it was soft), but because it was done to stop a goal-scoring opportunity. A cheap free kick was the one that led to the first Man City goal against us.

Apart from only putting 4 in the wall (WTF?), and being glacier slow to get across, I thought FF was unlucky there.
-
True. And if reports are true that reason was a group of prima donna players.

With apologies to Gary Larson.

What we try to explain to the Puel out mob: "You say it was right to sack Puel because of the dour, boring matches, (many at the end of season with nothing left to play for), but ignore the fact that it was his first season in England, he was dealt a lousy hand: Mane, Pelle and VW sold and not properly replaced, injuries to key players (Austin, VVD), no goal-scorer until Gabbi came in January (and then got injured), the Fonte fiasco, Eric Black, extra midweek games because of Europe, and despite all that a fantastic cup run and brilliant final at Wembley which we deserved to win, and we finished 8th." What the Puel out mob hear: "It was right to sack Puel because of the dour, boring matches, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah."

This. Top post.

There have been a lot of rumours that certain players wanted him out, which if true put Reed in a difficult position. Half the fans turning on him was maybe the straw that broke the camel's back. Reminds me of the same with Luggy getting unfairly sacked after allegedly losing the dressing room, and we all know what happened after that. We need MP and Watson out, and definitely Black too (I have no idea if he is in some way responsible for the players turning on the manager, but his appalling record suggests something is not right with him at clubs. Of course it could simply be because he's a terrible coach). Then bring in a good manager and assistants, who won't take shit from any player.

I 4-1 won't be upset if we can flog the surly **** to City in January for a good price. I'm sure Hoedt, Stephens and Maya won't mind either.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42347378 Journalist Philippe Auclair told BBC Sport Southampton's decision to dispose of Puel after one season was regarded as "ludicrous" in France. He said: "I did not understand how Southampton could do away with him like that - unless they always saw him as a 'ferryman' who'd take them safely to the other side of the river, and then bye-bye. "The idea he promotes 'negative' football is utter rubbish. He's a pragmatist, which is not the same thing at all. He inherited a Southampton side which wasn't exactly as packed with talent as under Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman. He saw his job to maximise the material at his disposal. He did that - and then some."
-
I can tolerate them. Unless they somehow get into a position of power.
-
If we ask nicely do you think Leicester would give us Claude back?
-
Maybe we could prise Nigel Pearson away from Belgium.
-
Redmond playing on the left again. More tactical genius by our new and improved manager.
-
I 4-1 don't understand how Leicester fans can stand their crab-like boring football team.
