  1. I've been calling our clown the Argentinian Wigley, and on reflection I think we're being very unfair. On Wigley.
  2. I'd gladly take any of the bottom-of-the-barrel names bandied about over our current clown. Except Saggy.
  3. Has he signed yet?
  4. With Saggy as his assistant.
  5. That's not what I remember. What I remember is he ****ed off to Spurs at the first opportunity, despite our board trying their best to keep him.
  6. "Unsuccessful clubs hire clowns as managers and then refuse to sack them until it's too late." The Official Guide to Basic Club Management (2018), Retrieved from www.saintsweb.co.uk
  7. What is the argument against VAR? That referees should have their eyes open and should never make mistakes? That it impedes the flow of the game? As if injuries, substitutions etc. don't? At the very least have it to verify any disputed penalty decisions and goals (disallowed like Gabbi's at Wembley, or given ones like today). Common Bloody Sense.
  8. He was already on a yellow.
  9. Concede 2 more shortly after half time, and end up losing 5-2?
  10. He was already on a yellow.
  11. Now goddammit you bloody dinosaurs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. When the **** are the football dinosaurs going to drag us into the 21st century and use video technology???
  13. For me that's a much higher priority. Along with a new manager who isn't a complete clown. Anything else (like Walcott) is just gravy.
  14. Nigel Pearson.
  15. He's exactly the type of player we need, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
  16. I remember Gray and Wigley getting sacked after less than half a season because they were clearly out of their depth.
  17. Isn't that like telling the judge the only thing you did wrong was robbing the bank and shooting the security guard?
  18. I can't blame them for the VVD debacle. That was a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. The only person to blame there is that **** VVD (and the scousers of course). Lemina was needed as a back-up/partner to Romeu. They were lucky last season that Reed's gamble that Romeu wouldn't get injured paid off. Hoedt looks like a decent buy. The biggest cock ups: 1) The inability to bring in at least one bloody front man who can score goals. Not just last summer, but the summer before that as well (ever since we lost Mane and Pelle). It was clear to anyone with half a brain that we have been woefully inadequate in that department for ages. So what do they do instead, they sell JRod and loan out Gallagher. 2) The Fonte debacle of last season. 3) Sacking a decent manager who did the best considering 1) and 2) above, and replacing him with an Argentinian version of Wigley. 4) Not bringing in a mobile goalkeeper who can make saves, and relying on our statue in goal. This goes back several seasons (and may have cost us a top 4 place under RK). 5) Did I mention not getting in a front man who can score?
  19. Fans don't have that influence, especially as the base was divided. The only time we have influence is when it's a long term Br*nf**t-type situation. It was almost certainly certain prima donna players who were primarily responsible.
  20. Corrected for you.
  21. So Stoke have sacked their manager without yet having someone lined up. Why can't we do the same? Yes it was a disaster last time for us, but that's because Reed was trying to replace a good manager without someone as good or better lined up. But this time we only have to replace a clown. Sack him now for God's sake.
  22. Apart from not scoring goals he'd be perfect.
  23. Fraud vs. Clown. My money's on the fraud.
  24. Err, no. It's much stronger than the one Puel had for most of the season (not to mention the injuries he had to contend with).
