  1. Come on, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Even if it's wrong.
  2. Gray was popular too. I'm seeing a pattern here.
  3. Where do you come up with that conclusion? a) Reed appointed two decent managers prior to this clown, b) it would take an incredible amount of work to find someone as bad, let alone worse, than the current clown, and c) Reed presumably won't make the same mistake of looking for a Pochettino clone who's Argentinian, from the lower part of La Liga, and with the same first name, initials, age and quality of hair.
  4. That's the main problem, he can stick with the clown comfortable in the knowledge that he can jump ship and retire to Benidorm at the end of the season if we go down.
  5. Here's a maths equation that sums it up for me: Pearson > Hughes = Silva >>>> Strachan >>>>>>>>>> Current Clown
  6. Puel was able to keep the defence tight all season with the same defenders (and no Hoedt or Lemina, and VVD was out for half the season). It's 90% the manager. He's out of his depth.
  7. As the old saying goes, better late than never.
  8. Actually the jury already came back months ago with their verdict: guilty on all counts of being a completely clueless, incompetent, moronic, drooling, buffoon of a manager.
  9. WBA, Stoke and umm.... Man Utd?
  10. Exactly.
  11. If they finish eighth and get to the cup final he's doomed.
  12. Not sure if it was the motivation, rather than the bloody awful team he picked.
  13. I think you may have forgotten the manager we (still) have.
  14. That's true, but most of us agree if a starting line up is decent or crap. For example against WBA I would've had PEH in ahead of Romeu, but overall I (like most of us) was happy with the line up. Let's hope MP The Lesser is now capable of the doing the same thing from now on.
  15. Really? The team chosen to play Brighton was almost universally condemned here, and the team for WBA was almost universally agreed upon.
  16. Ok, but is he growing? That's the most important thing.
  17. Trying to do a Bale (but without his talent).
  18. Good luck to him.
  19. Straight swap, let's do it. (Even if he's someone who thinks Morata is better than Costa.)
  20. Absolutely, by a mile. He couldn't wait to jump ship after just one season. At least Lallana gave us a number of good years (helping us up from L1), and we got about 2.5 seasons out of VVD, followed by £75m.
  21. Such a rule change would make it even harder for the assistant ref. Much simpler to determine if just one part of the body is offside (which they still get wrong too often), than having to add the complication of also deciding (in a split second) if another part of the body may be onside.
  22. Even worse if you add Oxlade-Chamberlain.
  23. By attendance Newcastle are top 10 (averaging around 50K in the PL). With that level of support they are huge underachievers.
  24. Like Utd in 2005.
  25. Took a while to build up the squad, which gave him a slow start. Oh, and minus 10 points didn't help.
