  1. SIGN HIM UP!!
  2. I'll let GM and the other right wing extremists come up with his good things. Good luck with that. Here's a partial list of the not so good achievements of the twice-impeached Orange Mussolini. — Sharing secrets with Russia that burned US and US ally spies. — Inciting rebellion against the United States on January 6th. — Running his businesses from the White House while multiple foreign governments poured cash into his properties in violation of the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause. — Stealing national defense secrets from the White House, leaving them lying around in open rooms and bathrooms, and then lying to the FBI about them. — Raping and then threatening and defaming E. Jean Carroll. — Criminally obstructing investigations into his campaign’s ties to Russia. — Conspiring with Republicans in multiple states to defraud the American people with forged Electoral College certificates. — Threatening Georgia’s Secretary of State with criminal prosecution if he wouldn’t “find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have.” — Violating campaign finance laws on multiple occasions. — Committing tax and insurance fraud. — Abandoned our Kurdish allies to Putin, leading to their mass slaughter by Russian troops and warplanes. — Gave to Russia at least one spy we know of in an Oval Office meeting with that country’s foreign minister and US ambassador. — Convicted on 34 felony charges for falsifying business records in relation to hush money payments to a porn star. — Did his best to destroy NATO and hand Ukraine to Putin. — Extorting a foreign leader to manufacture dirt on his political opponent. — Mismanaged the Covid crisis so badly America had the developed world’s highest mortality rate with at least a half-million unnecessary deaths.
  3. I wish we were Morecambe.
  4. Agreed. I don't understand why so many say it wasn't a penalty. Maybe because it happened after Kane's shot. That's irrelevant, the player went into Kane's ankle studs up. It's a penalty all day long.
  5. I had a weird dream last night. Wout Weghorst said he was willing to sign for Saints if I would give him half a million. I don't know where I got the money, but I gave him the cheque. Straight after I had buyer's remorse, even more so when Mrs. Munster found out and went ballistic.
  6. And Spain too?
  7. That's quite an understatement! Prior to Southgate almost all England managers have viewed penalties as a pointless exercise to prepare for, considering them as just a lottery, and didn't bother to practice ("What's the point, you can't recreate the pressure of a real match", "Ok lads, it's penalties. Who fancies taking one?") The only exception was Venables, who had 5 players prepared (which led to our only success, against Spain). Unfortunately he didn't consider the possibility that it could go beyond a 5th penalty, and we duly lost to Germany (ironically Southgate missing the 6th). If England had been as well prepared as we were today then we probably would've had more major trophies than that solitary one 50+ years ago.
  8. Indeed. SR may be stupid, but they are not idiots. Ok, they may be idiots, but they are not drooling, imbecilic morons. I think.
  9. Definite possibility. Never write off the Germans. If it does come to that I hope Netherlands win it, and I’d be happy for Koeman.
  10. When the highest court in the land says presidents can do whatever unlawful acts they like if it’s an “official act” then checks and balances have gone out the window. This is exactly what happened in pre war Germany.
  11. 6 of the 9 were appointed by Republicans (3 by the orange Mussolini). Of the 6 fascists, 5 were appointed by a Republican who lost the popular vote. Not to mention the other (Thomas) being the most corrupt having pocketed millions from a billionaire. The electoral college which gave us these 6 fascists, along with a real possibility of another Trump presidency (despite again losing the popular vote) is the root of how the USA can soon turn into a fascist dictatorship. GM and other right wing zealots may think this is wonderful, but having the world’s only superpower a fascist dictatorship should scare every sane person on the planet shitless.
  12. US presidents don’t have absolute power. But Trump and his fascist Republicans are goose stepping toward that.
  13. Plus the Orange Mussolini will have the Supreme Court, with their 6-3 fascist supermajority, to back him up. Just like they are doing currently in delaying his stolen classified documents and insurrection cases.
  14. Assuming we are able to get more points than the 3 implosions.
  15. Easy in hindsight I know, but shouldn't Vince have declared sooner? At the time the online BBC reporter questioned why he and Dawson batted as long as they did.
  16. If England was in the upper half of the draw there's no way they'd be favourites, Spain and France alone would be way ahead of them, and Germany and Portugal probably too. But on paper the strongest teams on their side of the draw are Italy and Netherlands, who you could perhaps argue should be favoured over England, but they also have hardly been pulling up trees themselves so far.
  17. Simple. France, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Belgium are in the top half of the knockout brackets, with lucky England in the bottom half.
  18. Ivory Coast did just that in this year's Afcon, after an abysmal group stage where they luckily scraped through. And they then went on to win the tournament with their caretaker manager! Of course there's no chance that the brainless dinosaurs running the English FA would even consider it.
  19. The lunatic vote to throw out the ban on machine guns (that's what bump stocks turn semi-automatics into) was 6-3. All 6 fascists on the Supreme Court voted to allow machine guns in the hands of mass killers: 3 were appointed by your hero Trump, with other 3 appointed by other Republicans. The 3 sane ones who voted, sadly in vain, to uphold the ban were appointed by Democrats: 2 were appointed by Obama (Biden was his Vice President at that time), and the other by Biden himself. So who exactly is childish and blind?
  20. You're Scottish then?
  21. We'll definitely bring in new players. But that doesn't necessarily mean the team will be strengthened, with SR's crap track record it's no guarantee. Time will tell.
  22. Newsflash: The globe is warming. At a catastrophic rate. https://www.noaa.gov/news/2023-was-worlds-warmest-year-on-record-by-far Climate by the numbers Earth’s average land and ocean surface temperature in 2023 was 2.12 degrees F (1.18 degrees C) above the 20th century — the highest global temperature among all years in NOAA’s 1850-2023 climate record. It also beats the next warmest year, 2016, by a record-setting margin of 0.27 of a degree F (0.15 of a degree C). The 10 warmest years since 1850 have all occurred in the past decade. In fact, the average global temperature for 2023 exceeded the pre-industrial (1850–1900) average by 2.43 degrees F (1.35 degrees C). Looking ahead, there is a one-in-three chance that 2024 will be warmer than 2023, and a 99% chance that 2024 will rank among the top five warmest years.
