Whoosh! 😀

And Bazunu is an appalling shot stopper, which makes him an even worse keeper. Being ok playing out from the back doesn't remotely compensate for being crap at the primary role of a keeper.
-
Yes, but don't forget their famous April 2012 upset, when Norris scored a 110th minute winner in their 2-2 draw against us, which saved them from relegation and consigned us to another season in the second tier. They'll be talking about that epic goal for generations.
-
Well that's fine if we are bringing in someone better. Which I very much doubt, but would be delighted to be proved wrong. If not, it's madness to get rid of our only option at that role. It's not like we're getting a fortune for him, and we desperately need a big CF. The argument is it isn't in RM's style of play, which I consider bollocks, all teams put crosses into the box. Even if he doesn't start, he's an option that can be used later in the match if we're chasing the game. Like today.

I wonder if it's because Tall Paul was a N. Jones' signing that he refuses to consider him in his plans? At least give him a chance FFS. We missed two great heading chances today, which TP could well have buried. He (RM) really has a blind spot there, along with apparently overrating our poor GKs.
-
Agreed. The second half screamed to have a CB replaced by Tall Paul. Oh wait, he wasn't even on the bench.
-
Not even on the bench. We were getting some good crosses into the box, with no one there capable of taking advantage. What the hell is wrong with RM?
-
Tall Paul would’ve buried that
-
For example, if Hants get through to the semi and the final play Vince. He could've made the difference last year (he wasn't picked and they lost the final by 2 runs).
-
RM in particular. Baffling. Ditto with RM regarding Bazunu, "the best goalkeeper in the division".
-
Can't disagree with any of that, assuming it is not written in jest. Which begs the question, why do you fawn over his puppet, the Orange Mussolini, who worships the ground Putin walks on?
-
Scraped third on NRR. Perhaps a blessing in disguise, as this opens the door to bring in the big guns for the knockout match(es), like they did today for the must-win match. Unlike the last couple of seasons where the kids did so well in the group stage that it was harder to drop them in the next matches.
-
In the last couple of decades they've literally won every trophy imaginable, many more than once. So sorry, my sympathy for their fans can be found somewhere between shit and syphilis.
-
If only we had a tall CF in our squad who play that role.
-
It's remarkable how well they've done since losing the genius Rasmus Ankersen.
-
Or at least "Non-Saints Games".
-
Maybe it's our cunning plan to bring the more skillful PL opponents (i.e. most of them) down to our level?
-
That's our (RM's) problem in a nutshell. If you don't mix it up it makes it easy for the opposition to suss you out and press you into the inevitable cock ups.
-
Good job it's only a friendly.
-
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, but we seem to need to sign a competent goalkeeper.
-
Good grief, is he that slow?
-
What a decent season looks like for a poor PL team

I hate to say it, but this season I'm with Dalek on that one. -
He could’ve said (lied) that he has every confidence in him and that he’s a good goalkeeper who will improve. But to say he’s the best in the division means either he’s delusional and believes it, or thinks we’re stupid and believe that complete bullshit. I hope I’m wrong but I think it’s the former, and that would partly explain why SR don’t seem to be pursuing getting a PL level gk. Why should they if the manager is happy with the crap we have?

Being a Saints fan rather than one of the elite

If I win I’d tell Putin to do whatever the hell he wants with any country that “doesn’t pay” - The Orange Mussolini.
