All of the above.

He had early Parkinson's. 1.23 points per match. What we'd give for that now, and no where near the worst Saints manager ever.

Yep. JWP, KWP, Lavia. Beyond that I'm struggling to think of any more.

Theo and Aribo on to inject much needed pace and urgency

I think the correct spelling is DeSantising. 😉 https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ron-desantis-book-bans-florida-b2270116.html Ron DeSatan, Republican governor of Florida. -
I don't recall seeing any poster who thinks we are going to stay up. They'd be delusional if they thought that. I'd say all vary from "almost certainly, but not definitely yet, relegated" to "we're 100% relegated" (you for example). The bookies have us at about a 72% chance of going down. If they thought it was 100% certain they probably wouldn't be taking any bets on us getting relegated. For what it's worth, after the Leeds abomination I'm in the 90% chance of us going down.

Absolutely this. I've said before, a goal scoring forward lifts the whole team, from front to back. Without one the team is terrified of conceding, knowing that it's probably curtains if they do. No risks taken, no taking it to the opposition. In short, the shit performances we've had for most of the season, just like yesterday. That's why Semmens and SR not addressing this as their main priority in the summer was criminal.

If you have a few months to spare this is a treasure trove of information:

May as well go all out in the Cup. After today's shit show we are down. Let's try and do a Wigan.

On the top of my head: Appointed Wigley Appointed Gray Appointed Saggy Got us relegated Gave up the Bale sell-on money for Fourpast Sacked a very competent Pearson and replaced him with 2 Dutch jokers Took us into administration days after the cut off for points deduction carrying over into League 1 Got us relegated again But part from that the ruddy cheeked bastard wasn't that bad I suppose.

Light years ahead of Jones, definitely. That doesn't require much. Ralph? Depends which one, for the early one that's probably true (but the jury is still out), but after he made it clear he was on a path to retirement the results were utter turd, and it appears Selles will be well above that later version of Ralph. Time will tell. One swallow does not make a summer, and all that.

How much are they offering? Asking for a friend.

I can understand that you’ve buried deep down the horrible memory of him scoring the 98th minute screamer winner in the draw that not only denied us promotion that year but saved them from relegation. Truly the greatest goal in their history, and our most painful conceded.

Nathan Jones - Sacked (Official)! This has to be one of my favourite thread titles ever.

Too soon?

I'd be half sad and half happy if both of us go down.

No mention of an FA cup win? Or a set of winning lottery numbers?

You make some good points there, I can't disagree with any of that. The jury's still out for me about giving him the job after one win. That being said, even if we'd lost today the performance was very good, especially the first half where we were excellent. Selles is definitely not a Wigley or Gray (which is what I was worried about), and comes across as tactically aware, intelligent with a good, calm personality. In short, the polar opposite of Ankersen's disastrous muppet.
-
I doubt it, that plonker Ankersen would've given him more time "to work with the new signings". Luckily JWP made sure we didn't get the draw and more Jones buffoonery.

He's a smarmy smooth-talker with nice hair, designer stubble and a sexy Danish accent. If he had a cockney accent and looked like the bloke below he'd be widely dismissed as the fraud that he is.

If that's true why couldn't Saints and Leeds come to an agreement, a one-year rolling contract for Marsch here, and if it terminates after a year Leeds pays up the remaining year he's out of work. They (Leeds) would save one of the two years compensation, and possibly both if Marsch remains beyond the first year. Leeds of course have no obligation and can refuse, but they know if Marsch won't accept a short term Saints deal without it, then they will be left paying out the full two years. Seems like a win-win-win for everyone.

Chelsea lost 1-0 but played well I thought. If Dortmund had Bazunu in goal I reckon Chelsea would've scored at least 3. Saturday should be fun!
