I've always been against the "would you take getting relegated but winning the cup?" But TWO cups wins and relegation? Given that we are odds on for going down anyway, I'd be very tempted to take that.
-
Long term Covid effects possibly?
-
I think Radio Solent mentioned it. Why would they pay him that? ... maybe because they are the idiots who chose him in the first place? Anyway, hopefully the figures are wrong, and he signed a contract that doesn't pay him more than a year if he's sacked.
-
I don't. Not one bit. Allegedly on £4m per year for 3 years. So after he's sacked for being the worst PL manager in history he'll probably walk away with close to £10m, for a couple of months work of being an abject loser.
-
My hope is we get a good rogering in both cups games, forcing the board to finally get rid of the Welsh Wigley before the trip to Goodison, and then get a new manager bounce win against Everton.
-
Which one?
-
Yes indeed. I wonder if he could come in as player-manager?
-
I'd happily take that if it's what it takes for the muppets in charge to get rid of Nathan Wigley.

I don't know what more to add to what's been said about that clown, not to mention the morons who hired him. If you haven't had a chance, please pop over and vote on the Jones out (or not) poll thread. Currently it stands at about 96% who want him fired now. I hope to wake up tomorrow morning with the news that he's gone, but I'm not holding my breath. Love him or hate him, Nicola Cortese would've fired him straight after the final whistle (not that he would've hired him in the first place), but the current Keystone Kops in charge are probably too deluded, or terrified of admitting they've made a monumental cock up, to do that.
-
Yeah, with a win and 1.23 points per match average. I think you're confusing a very competent Luggy with the two losers Wigley and Saggy who followed him, the two clowns who got us relegated. That's who you should be comparing this tosser with.

Everyone except Martin Laurel and Rasmus Hardy
-
What year is Nathan Wigley sacked?
-
Bugger. I was hoping it’s our fans
-
Aribo coming on. That should inject some pace into the team.
-
I envy you.
-
Only if someone attacks him.
-
Ok, I've got a place reserved on this thread straight after the final whistle in case we lose today. I've got my knives sharpened and ready. Not that losing today will make a difference to Martin Laurel and Rasmus Hardy. They'll probably offer Nathan Wigley a contract extension.
-
Adams Armstrong?
-
Can that happen tomorrow, please?
-
You don't need to be Nostradamus to predict an 18 year old kid isn't going to be able to play all matches in a season, and that a long-term injury was a high probability (exhibit A: Tino). The club should've bought another DM to replace Romeu, not to mention of course a goal scoring front man which many of us have been screaming about ever since Ings left.
-
That's a bit harsh on Gareth Southgate.
-
I don't think he was too bad today. Aribo on the other hand ...
