Didn't Hants get a grand total of one point in that match? A big reason why they finished top.

This. De Bruyne and Haaland are from another planet, and City can destroy the best teams in the world (ask Liverpool). We played ok for most of the first half, and then the two aforementioned destroyed us. My anger is directed at the debacles that preceded today, including Villa away, Leeds away, Forest, Wolves (twice), West Ham away, Rasmus W. Ankersen and Nathan F**king Jones.

Is Nathan Jones' brother their manager?

Probably something along the lines that we plebs can't see the "reference points" behind the scenes, and that they are completely relaxed and financially prepared for the 6th biggest league in the world.

Relegation - What two teams do we take with us
Dark Munster replied to Lee On Solent Saint's topic in The Saints
Agreed with the 3 going down. Disagree about wanting anyone else: the weaker the other teams going down, the better for us. -
Mitrovic has been given an 8 match ban. You have to laugh. Mind you, we'll probably already be down by then.
-
He's out injured I heard.

75% chance of going down? That's quite generous. Should be at least 90% I reckon.

The 2 worst teams, to give a better chance of going up. Bournemouth definitely then. Hard to choose the other one. Maybe Leeds, or Everton (since they have financial problems and they are forced to sell their good players). Probably wouldn't want Forest, since they have shown they can walk the championship, and they have the right manager to do it again. -
I thought he had a good game today. Stu Armstrong on the other hand ...

I reckon our bench would beat their bench.

West Ham’s lineup looks strong. Several players back for them. This could get ugly.

You can call a turd anything you like, but it's still a turd.

The majority over here can't stand the fascist Republican party. The problem is that the election system is at a banana republic level. Starting with the joke called the Electoral College, where someone like HRC gets 4 million more votes but loses to the Orange Turd, due to presidential elections being decided by how many electoral votes a state gives, rather than the popular vote that every other developed country does. Then there is the senate, which can block popular legislation (like banning assault weapons of war and stopping lunatics getting hold of them). That joke of a body has 2 senators per state, regardless of size. So for example California with about 40 million people has 2 (Democratic) senators, and Wyoming with only about 600K people also has 2 senators (Republicans, of course). Throw in unlimited legalised bribery (thanks to the fascist Republicans on the Supreme Court), along with gerrymandering for the House, and the whole system is FUBAR.

And don't forget the other half who'll suffer from Long Vaccine.

Crouch and not hiring the Welsh wanker.

Um, no Clown's donkey? Surely pound for pound our worst signing ever.
-
That sounds straight out of the Les Reed school of negotiation. If we value him at £20m (for example) then we tell Burnley take it or leave it. We aren’t (I presume) in the same situation as 2004 when we were skint.

Yes, the Forest and Wolves debacles were daggers in the heart, although the latter did get rid of the disastrous numpty. In fairness the Elland Road abomination needs to be added to that list, so Selles isn't blameless either.

If he gets a 10 match ban that will include their match at SMS.

By my count that's 0-4 for last 4 free kicks in JWP territory. I wonder if being one away from equalling Beckham's record is on his mind? Hopefully his excellent penalty today will relax him to bury his next free kick.

True. But if Dyche had been appointed instead of Nathan F*cking Jones I think we'd be above the drop line and with a good shout of survival.

I still remember the chorus of boos when he scored that fastest hat trick in PL history. My ears are still ringing.
