  1. Yep.
  2. I said at the end of last season, when many were clamoring to get rid of him, that he should be given a chance in the Championship (where he has done well before of course). Yes, he was pants in the PL, but as we all know the level is much lower in the league we are in now. Having goal scorers (in any division) is the main difference between the top teams and the also rans.
  3. Crazy to let him go, unless for ridiculous money. Around £12m is the reported figure. Compare that to the £18m spent on Tall Paul. And if the club sell him could you trust them to get a decent replacement? £12m is peanuts if it's the difference between going up or staying down. Let him walk on a free next summer I say.
  4. Wouldn't be a shock to me. We've got a GK who can't make saves, CB's who are crap with high balls (some low ones too), DMs either sold or injured, a manager who hasn't a clue how to set up a team to defend, and play zonal marking in defense to leave players unmarked to put away any free headers that haven't already flown past the above-mentioned GK. I'd eat my hat if were able to keep a clean sheet.
  5. Yes, but you forget he brought in Lumley to add to our stable of top class goalies.
  6. But, but, isn't relegation a blessing in disguise? A chance to offload all our deadwood? That's what some geniuses have been telling us.
  7. Bastard. (Him, not you).
  8. You're joking, surely? Bazunu's going to make a save?
  9. No, it's not as simple as that. If we don't go up this season it gets harder with time, plus he loses out on PL riches from failing to get promoted. Getting rid of all our best players, and relying on our incompetent scouts to replace them, is a recipe for disaster.
  10. I’d insist on £30 m plus £1 m for each free kick he buries for them. Sounds fair to me.
  11. Hants should've played him in the semi final last year.
  12. Yes but we’d want him cup tied when we play Liverpool in the final.
  13. Director of Football Jason Wilcox said: “Joe has a lot of experience in the Championship and will be a good addition to what is already a strong stable of goalkeepers here.
  14. As good as Selles? Talking about Selles, I remember the gushing praise after his first match as full time manager. We all know where it went after that. I reserve judgement for a while, but I'm sure RM will be much better, especially, unlike the clueless Selles, he actually has prior experience as a manager, not to mention the Championship being a big step down from the PL.
  15. How did you find it? As a test for next time I tried a Google search "Southampton" site:wolfstream.tv and it came up empty. It's a video sharing website, and its home page gives no navigation to anything. I'm looking ahead to finding replays of future matches.
  16. He's new. Hopefully it will last, and he doesn't develop favourites and teacher's pets.
  17. Can't complain, that's about my level.
  18. Yeah that's true, the VAR refs in the booth need to be competent. Half the time they aren't.
  19. I don't mind waiting for the other team's offside goals to be chalked off (or ones batted into the net with their hands). Or for our disallowed onside goals to be given.
  20. Yes, and he didn't pick Moi. What a relief.
  21. I know you're probably joking, but I think we'll probably miss VAR in the not too distant future. PL refs are bad, down here they are worse. As they say, be careful what you wish for.

  23. Yep. The following shit sandwich got us relegated.
  24. We should tell them we are willing to make a £25m bid for Salah. Which is technically not a lie.
