  1. ITK? Please let it be true (and Nathan Wigley also, please).
  2. Should've put money on JWP scoring in the second half today.
  3. He was beyond awful today. Should've been hauled off at HT or earlier. Just strolling around, losing possession, and shit passing. When Adams broke free on the left and was one on one with their GK he (Aribo) was just casually strolling forward, no attempt to bust a gut to get on to a cross or be in the box for a possible rebound. He has some ability but I don't know what the f*ck is wrong with him, but he should not be starting any matches until he gets his head out of his arse.
  4. Relax, Pep will bring on the kids once the 4th goes in. So 7-0 at worst.
  5. Replace "central defence" by "manager" and they are on to something.
  6. I can't wait for @Lord Duckhunter to explain this to us.
  7. Depends. If the manager is competent, like Claude was, I agree, fkkk the players. But if he's clearly out of his depth, like Nathan Wigley appears to be, then who can blame them? Of course that requires the board to know the difference, and all signs are they haven't got a clue.
  8. It seems players who score own goals often score one at the right end later on, so put money on him doing that in the second half! That reminds me, Chris Nicholl once scored all 4 goals in a 2-2 draw (when playing for Villa).
  9. If that happens could we offer to swap Moyes for Nathan Wigley?
  10. Agree with most of that, except about re-hiring Ralph. Bring in someone with experience like Dyche or Big Fat Sam on a rolling one year contract, who would get the players' respect, and hit the ground running (ok, waddling in BFS's case).
  11. A number of 3-0 defeats predicted here. If that happens (and it wouldn't be a surprise) then SR have to sack Wigley II straight after the final whistle, along with the clown(s) responsible for choosing him. And while they're at it, sack Semmens for the lack of a summer striker signing. If he's also responsible for choosing Wigley II he should be re-hired straight after his sacking, so he can be immediately be sacked again.
  12. How many free kicks around the box have Saints had this season? The one in the last match is the first I can remember for a long time, and his effort wasn't far off. Other teams have sussed out not to give them away against us. It's hard to score from a free kick if you don't have one within 30 yards of goal.
  13. So was Mitrovic until this season. Weghorst does have a previous track record of a goal every 2 games for Wolfsburg. A big lump goal scorer is what we desperately need. We could do a lot worse than him, but anyway isn't he on a season long loan in Turkey, so not available?
  14. Ah, the old "we need to burn down the village to save it" argument. Not for me thanks, I'll choose number 1. We all remember the last relegation and subsequent administration, and nearly the folding of the club. Markus saved us, I doubt we'll be that lucky again. Look at Coventry, etc., or Leeds (bigger club than us) spending decades in the wilderness.
  15. Being outplayed. For example, when the other team coasts to a 3 goal lead, could’ve had 1 or 2 more. Us getting a consolation still leaves it a heavy defeat.
  16. True. But they know that going down is going to lose them a shitload of money, so if we lose badly against Fulham and Forest that may motivate them to pull the trigger. But I wouldn't bet on it.
  17. I think we're one decent striker and one competent manager away from having a good chance of staying up. Unfortunately it's unlikely we'll get the former, and definitely not the latter (at least not until it's too late).
  18. Sacking Ralph wasn't the problem. The mistake was replacing him with Steve Wigley II.
  19. Are you sure about that?
  20. Ok hands up, who would like to resubmit their vote? 😐 I didn't vote at that time, because I wanted more time see how it would pan out without a striker. Worse than I imagined. If the mods would reopen this poll I am ready vote now! 2/10.
  21. That f**ker hasn't been sacked yet? Shit.
  22. He'd be more like a Guido Carrillo number 9.
  23. Corrected for you. Merry Chrimbo!
  24. Deja vu, all over again. Time to focus on the league.
