The season ticket holders can bring down this regime. It will soon be renewal time. I urge all season ticket holders not to renew until Lowe steps down.

Anyone else got any decent photos of the protest?

Ian Holloway. He was at today's game.

Best not to read his posts. He's a troll mods.

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/150252/COLIN-CALDERWOOD-IN-LINE-FOR-SAINTS.html COLIN CALDERWOOD is set for a return to management at Championship strugglers Southampton. Former Nottingham Forest boss Calderwood has been lined up to take charge if Saints are relegated to League One. Dutchman Mark Wotte was promoted from academy coach to Saints manager when countryman Jan Poortvliet quit last week. But Wotte will be axed if he fails to beat the drop this season. Calderwood, 44, recently took up a coaching role at Newcastle following his dismissal by Forest in December. But the Scot has a clause allowing him to leave if he is offered a manager’s job.

I really don't think we will stay up as the damage has already been done but today's performance was good. Plenty of spirit and fight. The team did the club proud.

A red card protest just before kick off always works quite well.

The guy who organised it is only 16. Amazing!:smt041

There was easily over a thousand fans there today. Well done to all for making the effort and keeping it a peaceful protest. Also great support today during the game & 4-4-2!

Some pie in the sky rumours: http://www.facebook.com/wall.php?id=56298189531&page=4&hash=413773c96700f76ffbdd10a5719f898d Louis wrote at 13:23 on 23 January 2009 Don't want to get anyone's hopes up or anything, but a groundsman at the club was saying that Saints played a foreign team at St. Mary's today to 'show-off' to a potential millionaire investor, who is interested in paying off all of the debts, as well as investing over £6 million into the club. Obviously because I've heard it from a friend, it could be a load of rubbish, but would be interesting to hear from someone else who heard this. I will try to follow this up if I hear anything different. http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=17520&pageno=1 TheWhistleblower posted at 24 Jan 2009 18:18:18I was at the stadium on friday for the game that was behind closed door's against Ujpest... There was no meeting with Leon Crouch. Believe it or not there was a potential buyer being shown around the ground, although I have no idea as to who it was. http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=17520&pageno=2 Anon posted at 24 Jan 2009 19:27:53Someone has told upthesaints website that Wilde has thrown in the towel. The bank have told Lowe they will pull the plug unless something that Crouch was proposing last May to them comes to frutition. IE he was going to use his own money to underwrite any bank loans. I fail to see how Leon Crouch would get involved in this unless he had Lowe and Wilde shares sold to his group.

Agree, Lowe has to go but he also needs to cut all ties to the club. Including selling all his shares. Same applies to Askham, Withers, Richards and Clive-Winsor.
-
http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=17520 Can't see it myself unless Lowe has decided to step down.
-
His picture in the boardroom will be replaced by a bus.

None.

Crouch was there watching the game according to several posters. All a bit strange if true?
-
Another very poor decision from Wupert. LOWE AND THE COWARD WILDE OUT.

We're paying for a Premiership infrastructure which we can ill afford in the CC. Our potential problems started when Rupert signed the finance agreement for St.Marys.

Great post. Interestingly Bransgrove escorted Paterson down the players tunnel when the youngster got red carded recently. So he must be helping out???

A sensible post. Nevertheless the club needs a short-term fix, last throw of the dice. Therefore, I would like to see Askham, Richards and Withers withdraw their support for Rupert Lowe. Someone like Salz could then come in as acting PLC Chairman. Also, a new experienced first team manager is a must. The club will only win the relegation battle united. Over the next few days the likes of Askham, Richards and Withers will have to do some hard soul searching. I hope they put the wellbeing of Southampton Football Club ahead of any loyalty they hold with Rupert Lowe.

We're as good as down. Our team of inexperience youngsters are ill equipped to fight a relegation battle.
