  2. Big chip on shoulder.

    Limp

    We are too lightweight.
  6. Forget Fulthorpe it's not going to happen.
  7. Crap marking by Lancashire.
  8. Troll.
  9. I'm sure deep down even the most ardent Lowe, Wilde & Crouch supporters would struggle to disagree with Matt's views.
  10. They are all equally to blame.
  11. Nail on head. 1. Lowe's management strategy got us relegated from the Premiership. 2. Wilde brought in useless executives who negligently managed the club's accounts. 3. Crouch backed Wilde's dreamland plan. 4. Wilde backed Lowe's dreamland plan. Matt's right they are all to blame and should sell-up.
  12. How many years experience has Rupert got in running a successful football league club, without the luxuary of the Sky TV money? A big fat zero!
  13. We must avoid admin at all costs but the odds are stacked very much against us. We're still losing £80K a week:(
  14. The share price is a barometer of investor/market confidence in a company. A drop of over 10% in a single day's trading is significant for SLH, especially when you consider its stock is less prone to typical market volatility.
  15. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/en-gb/pricesnews/prices/system/detailedprices.htm?sym=GB0007922114GBGBXAIMI0792211SOO Down today by 10.4% to 21.50p
  16. Hope this is a false rumour. We're in a relegation battle and urgently need some experienced heads that will be able to handle the pressure. A 19yr old rookie is not the answer.
  17. A good post with a large touch of reality.
  18. Agree in part but unfortunately it's a results driven business and we're in the bottom three on merit. One win at home this season is a poor return and is hardly going to encourage the many floating fans to return. JP (or a new manager) will need to do some wheeling and dealing during the Jan transfer window to add some steel and fire power to the team.
  19. A good point today but I'm not going to get carried away by this rare one result. We're in the bottom three on merit and it's going to be a hard battle against all the odds for the club to avoid relegation. I hope today's result doesn't give Rupert any false security, thinking we're now going to be ok. To survive, the team urgently needs strenghtening, not with more youngsters but with good seasoned pros. The Jan sales, ins and outs will shape our season.
  20. Wrong! He opposed all the big wage signings but unfortunately he was out voted by the executives that Wilde had brought in. He was eventually kicked off the plc board (June 07). He did not get back into a position of power until Dec 07, by which time most of the financial damaged had already been done. Please do the research and you will find that your post is factually incorrect.
  21. The clue is in his name;)
  22. Great to have you back.
