How many times has Les Reed told us that the club havte in place replacements lined up for every eventuality. Well if that were the case how is it taking so long to announce Koeman's replacement when Reed's know for nearly a month now Koeman was off to Everton. Reed is all twaddle and bull ****e.

With Erwin and Jan stlll yet to depart, it could a good indication of us about to unveil De Boeuf or another Dutch manager while retaining them both.
-
Until it's confirmed I fear Erwin Koeman is going to be our new manager

Thank you for posting the article and the YouTube link. At this particular time in our development where we are about to appoint a new manager, it allows us all to realise beyond any doubt the priority of putting our Academy players at the top of requirements. Koeman's time is now put under black light and shows that he was more interested in self glorification than the true development of the club, of our youngsters. It is worth mentioning here just how much time Koeman spent playing to the media, how much time he spent in Holland during an average week. It was all part of his strategy to landing a job such as the one he's taken on at Everton. Don't like to say I told you so, but this box of frogs and mentalist, forsaw how Koeman's time would end even before it started back in June two years ago. He's done a lot of good but we have to be happy the harm he's been doing to our home grow players is at an end. For many. they've finally removed the rose tinted spectacles and are able to see Koeman and Co for what they are.

In the French media this morning its being reported we're after Pelligino m.goal.com/s/fr/news/28/main/2016/06/06/24332022/southampton-manuel-pellegrini-pour-remplacer-ronald-koeman?utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fnews.google.fr%2F

Pathetic and unre alistic candidates with the exception of Moyes. Ryan Giggs would be a magnivent chouce and fincially feasible Giggs is amongst bookies leading candidates but doesn't appear in rhe very limited poll choice At very least OTHER should be on the list
-
Someone who won't be following Koeman to Everton is Sammy Lee. Just worried that Les sees him as a cheap option to repla e Ron
-
Time for Liebherr to sell, bring in people with enough financial clour to take the Club to the next level. The alternative is stagnation and eventually falling back to pre Cortese/Markus
-
If we can't match what Everton would pay Koeman, that rules out 99% of names being mentioned. They just wouldn't be interested by Saints For myself the best person to succeed after Koeman is RYAN GIGGS. Similarities but better than Strachan, and Saints are the perfect fit for Giggs at this moment in his ambitions.

Anyone know if Deli Alli is a practicing Muslim? The reason I ask is his inclusion in the England squad may be Hodgeson's biggest gaff ever. The 6th of June sees the start of Ramadan for one month!! PS Maybe why Theo wasn't selected

The problem doesn't lie with JWP but with Koeman. Like Mourinho Koeman prefers more established players. Doubt even Luke Shaw would have got a look in under Koeman.

"Wembley" is his middle name. Just can't stay away from the place. Really proud of him and what he's achieving out on loan. Lloyd has aleady established himself as a legend and is a pride to Southampton Football Club. Hope Mister Coleman was watching and gives him a call. Well. done Lloyd.

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
ART replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
Have admired Jack GREALISH for a long while. He's 23 and would thrive under Koeman's guidance. His season was ruined by the media witch-hunt and Remi Garde's appalling manner of treating him. Far from helping the situation Remi Garde alienated the entire squad. Happy to see Jack called up for the Under 21_side along with JWP. Look forward to seeing if there will be any chemistry between their play. -

I have read a very interesting observation in reaction to the French film "Close to Leo", a movie that deals with the subject of brotherly love Leo, the elder brother who is gay, learns that he is HIV and hasn't long to live. All family members are told of his fate except Marcel, the youngest. However Marcel overhears the family talking. He is struck with grief at the thought of losing his beloved elder brother. The movie deals with how brotherly love between them, plays out their lives. The film is extremely moving yet sends out a huge message to all. http://youtu.be/9Ol9ur603hk Trailer of the film that gives an insight into what the movie is all about Excellent observation posted in reaction the the relationship of the 2 brothers. An observation that gives an interesting reason behind many falling into being induced into gay sex due to society's attitudes towards brotherly love I believe most boys would love to receive and give this depth of affection- it ain't got nothin to do with being gay. Boys are taught to be be ashamed of even having such feelings for each other. When they have them they feel confused. It's my personal belief that most boys who turn to Gay sex do so innocently, not because they want the sex, but because they crave wholesome male affection so badly. They are willing to do the sex just to satisfy their natural God-Given need for male affection.

Pochettino stated his long term ambition whilst he was at Saints. Rehash of old news to fill the newspaper columns.

Finally TalkSport has issued the link to the podcast of the John Ameichi interest. http:// talksport.com/us-sports/podcast-tom-latchems-extra-time-interview-john-amaechi-160426193524 With reference to homosexuality in China, officially it doesn't exist and is considered the same as heterosexuality before the law. Problems arise when prostitution is involved. In Chinese culturel history and traditional cross dressing plays a big Part in theatre, dance and opera. Thus nobody frowns upon its occurance in everyday life.

We're going to be lucky to leave with all three points. The defense has been terrible and Villa are getting more and more confident. We should have had 6 goals, so many missed chances. One Villa player who'd be on my shopping list for next season is Grealish who has made mincemeat of Soares.

The past two nights on TalkSports Extra Time with Tom Latcham, the former Basketball giant John Amaechi gave an interesting and revealing interview. Amaechi, who came out after retiring and now works as a Psychologist, stated he personally knows of 12 Premier League and Championship players who are gay, who are known as such by friends, colleagues and are prepared of exposure at any time. Yet they aren't doing anything to come out publically. The Podcast has now appeared at TalkSport for those who'd like to listen to this very interesting interview that deals with a number of interesting topics related to sport and psychology as well as his own experience with coming out and gay footballers To listen only to what he says about gay players in football go the end of the Podcast. ,

Where Fonte is concerned the writing has been on the wall for a while. A new center half for next season has to be a priority. Age is catching up with him and he's struggling to produce the form he's shown in the past which shows by the fouls and desperate moves he is resorting to. Elsewhere, what the hell is Martino doing wrong? Koeman clearly sees what he brings to the team. He gets better and better with every game he plays.
-
I am indeed delighted and hopes he never plays for Saints again. He's vermin Where do you think all the rumors and vossip appearing in the media lately comes from? Austin feeds Harry Redknapp, his media and racing friends with stories of unrest, behind the scenes problems. No to time to play but constantly at racing meets, late at night functions and blabbing on TalkSport
-
100% agree. Not only does he get better ad better but with posters on here we don't deserve any success.
-
Thank you Mowgli, trousers and those with helpful information. A god fried who's a Rangers supporter says, although not as welcome among many Rangers fans, others would see his return positive in the light of his Northern Ireland connection, and that he is getting closer to maintaining his level of play in the Premier League. I think in the light of information posted Rangers would get first chance should we decide to sell him and that a fee could be expected.
-
Rangers finally clinched promotion back to the Scottish Premiership tonight. If my memory serves me well, Steven David's contract contains a release clause. That is to say, if he so wishes he can return to Rangers on a free. Anyone in the, know who can confirm this.

Cedric has been rubbish. Not one single cross. We should have kept Martino in the team. I bitterly dislike Austin. Worse signing for a decade even at 4 million. Really hoping Jay gets his chances and rediscovers his strengths and score goals. No one deserves it more.
