    Streams for today

I hope every Saints fan who's used streams over the past 12 years on MyP2P and Wiziwig will remember Dead_Man_Walking who passed away on 19th November. An incredible and selfless man with a huge heart who gave all his time to bring joy to millions across the world, hiding his suffering and knowledge his days were number. R.I.P. mate, thanks for all the help, the enjoyment, you brought to my life. http://forum.wiziwig.eu/attachment.php?attachmentid=9838

    England v Germany

GREED up against two players, Lallana and Lambert, who actually play for the team.

    England v Germany

If Hodgeson misses this opportunity to see Lallana and Ricky play together for England then he doesn't have what it takes to do anything in Brazil.
  4. In pre-season before Pochettino joined Saints, Les Reed and Saints scouts took a number of trips to Barcelona, springing rumors we were about to sign players from Espanyol and Barcelona. I believe it was the Echo who said Cortese wanted Saints to be modeled on Barcelona and this was also discussed as being why they were there. I'm convinced it was Reed who would have sized up Pochettino as a potential Saints manager.
  5. When I was young, the queerest/strangest relationship in football was Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. Had people constantly talking and gossiping. So Pochettino and his interpretor are today's strange relatonship, a kind of football bromance. They do make an interesting couple, a kind of Ant and Dec.
  6. I think you're expressing the thoughts and fears of the majority of Saints fans. I have to pinch myself to see what I'm seeing and reading isn't a dream. It's all too good to be true. So many things could go wrong but let's all hope for once our time has finally come, that Markus is up there putting all the strings and putting his wishes in place for all of us.
  7. If true it's a travesty. Lallana, Clyne and JWP have a far better right to a call up. Shaw would never be ready to go to Brazil come the summer.
  8. Sick of hearing and reading about Shaw getting an England call ahead of James Ward-Prowse! Ward-Prowse is streaks ahead of Shaw in the England call up pecking order. JWP has shown more than a strong ability playing for the Under 21's where Shaw has been too big a risk health, injury wise. Lallana and Clyne have to be given a chance but fear Rodriguez has left it a little too late to get an England call up this time around.
  9. Nice to know the match is online tomorrow night. Will update nearer the time.

  11. Taking Rodriguez off was a bad move and released two Stoke players he kept occupied. Ramirez was ineffective and a joke. Lallana gave the ball away too often for my liking. Thought Stoke are a changed side from the time under Pullis and were unlucky not to score in the last 10 minutes. We, however, were very unlucky not to be awarded a penalty. A well earned point after a disastrous start with Bergovic's goal. The coming 6 weeks will make or break our season and show what we are made of. Here's hoping.
  12. Southampton are ready to make their Champions League push a family affair by snapping up Victor Wanyama's brother - Inter Milan midfielder McDonald Mariga. Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino is plotting a January swoop for the 26-year-old, who plays alongside his younger sibling for Kenya's national team. Mariga came close to joining Manchester City in January 2010, but could not get a work permit. Wanyama has played a key role in the Saints' superb start to the season since a £12.5million summer move from Scottish champions Celtic. 13. Bowie and Lou performing : "Waiting for the man" at Bowie's 50th Birthday celebrations.
  14. LOU REED R.I.P. Just learned from Twitter with immense shock the death of one of the great legends of my generation Lou Reed. A truly unique artist who wrote original and inspiring lyrics.
  15. I want to see Spurs drop out of the reckoning. We needs goals to keep up there against the likes of Chelsea and City.
  16. This is what has been going through my mind. Just how much can the lads take and for how long. I suppose this is where Pochettino will begin to rest players and bring in those with fairly good quality, such as Cork, Yoshida, Hooivelt, Chambers. and Gaston. My biggest fear is not having a keeper of the same class as Boruc.
  17. To the attention of the Liebherr family, Nicola Cortese, the Board of Southampton Football Club With the Annual All Saints Day approaching, I am calling upon the club to rename the Northam Stand, the ALL SAINTS MEMORIAL STAND ( In honor of each and every Saints Hero) It provides a solution for honoring all past heroes, not just an individual player, which runs the risk of disappointing or upsetting certain sections of the support base. Plaques to each of those chosen could be posted on the exterior of the stand. It wouldn't be right to just name it after one player, and, maybe the reason, to date, why it hasn't been done. Marcus Liebherr and Ted Bates most certainly deserve the honor of the other stands in their name. There is a need to honor each and every departed Saints hero. I believe this to be a fair and welcome solution.
  18. What a class performance! We dominated and had we scored more goals could have made the claim for annihilating Fulham. I truly take my hat of in praise of what Pochettino's achieving, of the style he's got the team playing. We were a team, a unity that bonded and played for each other. Elsewhere it was pointed out that Osvaldo plays for himself. He needs time to get his mind into the Saints togetherness and playing. If I can make one observation about something that Adkins did with incoming strikers that can be applied to Osvaldo to get him better understanding how Saints play, it's sticking them out on the wing. He did it with Ricky, with Jay. with Lee and with Sharp. It taught them much and today we see the benefits in how each, car Sharp, reverts from time to time out onto the wing, to get more involved in a game. In mentioning Lee, I was sad that Gully got on to play when Lee really deserves being involved. Yesterday's game, where we totally dominated. would have been the ideal opportunity for him. Thank you to Pochettino, his assistants and backroom team and each and every player for a truly entertaining and inspiring match.
  19. Must be how he got his nickname "BULGE"
  20. With the French government about to tax football players at 75% and the players federation calling for strike action from next month, there should be some class pickings from French Clubs. Can't see many players wanting to remain in France and pay to the taxman when they can move abroad and pay less. Being in one or two class French players would surely help Morgan gain international recognition.
  21. I felt we could have won this game. In the second half Lambert was being deliberately being side stepped as we were centering balls to target Osvaldo,. Osvaldo screwed up ball after ball with lack of power and direction. Had Ricky been targeted instead he'd have scored the winner we so badly wanted. I feel sorry for Ricky playing second fiddle to a player who's definitely struggling to adjust to the English game. It'd taken Pochettino 9 months to produce results so perhaps Osvaldo will not perform till next year. In Osvaldo we are seeing players being sacrificed to give him majority inclusion. This will need to be addressed if Osvaldo continues to struggle before it effects the confidence of others.
  22. He certainly was and can see him joining Ricky in Brazil. Wonder whether Hodgeson was at the game. Immense performance from the team bar Osvaldes who is really struggling. Why wasn't he subbed and Davis kept on? Should have taken all 3 points. We certainly deserved to win. A big thank you to Pochettino who is delivering what he promised. Purring with delight. Meeeeoooowww!
