  1. Lallana is so smug, arrogant when he's playing for Liverpool with his poof hair and Nivea enriched skin. Couldn't wait to throw his arms around Lovren's neck and thrust his legs around Lovren's waist
  2. That's the second time recently he's come off the bench and scored. I think his future role, at least for the coming months, is to take on the role of super sub. If he can pick up late goals like this, he going to be very important to the team.
  3. Download LIVESOCCERTV APP to your mobile or tablet to get all the channels worldwide showing matches. Excellent APP to ensure you have streams for current and future games
  4. It's been 7 years where things have moved forward, getting better and better. In some ways at this moment it's like what is called the "7 year itch" in a marriage. A time when doubt sets in and one asks can it really continue, will it not be downhill from now on. I believe, as Saints fans we've been thru a lot, taken some huge setbacks, where even the strongest minded supporter was tested to the limit. There is general unrest starting this new season. The general outlook of the modern game does not help. There are times when I ask myself how much more of the Premier League, it's attachment to money, big business can I take. I have supported Saints 64 of my 70 years, been thru good and bad times, been from the old 3rd Division, up and down the Leagues. Football has changed, lost so much of what it used to be. At the end of it all we still have Southampton Football Club and somehow it will all work out in the end, whether we go forward, backwards, up or downwards. In Claude Puel I believe he knows what he's doing, will take us into new successes. I just guess, as always we will have to have patience and belief in what Southampton Football Club is, and has always been about. We are Southampton and we march on.
  5. Finally a punter on Talksport who has lifted the lid on what really happened in the final minutes at the Emirates.. Adrian Durham, the least liked of punters on Talksport, was at the game and just said what actually happened, that the game should have been stopped when Koscienly and Long went down with head injuries. That even though the ref wrongly allowed play to continue, Fonte and Giraud encounter was never a penalty. Sadly no Saints supporters have called in to bring the incident more into the eye of more people in the game. ,
  6. Under Puel we have ONE DIRECTION and it has nothing to do with Harry Styles and Co.
  7. Interesting to see Swansea changed their formation today and came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Chelsea. Wonder if Puel was watching and got any ideas.
  8. Much impressed in seeing Puel's Diamond amond formation is finally coming together. An excellent performance from the team and if Shane Long had better luck we might not have lost the points to a dodgy penalty in extra time. My biggest concern is Fraser Forster's complete inability to save penalties now and again. He profile shows he hasn't made 1 penalty save since his move to the Premier League. This compares to former goalkeeper Artur Borac was has saved 14 penalties in the Premier League. More time needs to be spent by the goalkeeping coaches on improving[ Forster's penalty positioning and ability to save them. In Europe, if we do well penalty shoot outs will be all important.
  9. Many thanks Stu for a really great stream. Much appreciated
  10. As soon as he saw he wasn't being picked, Lucille Shaw suddenly was crying that his leg wasn't right. Feel sorry for his and how he still hasn't manned up as a player. In fact his moods are so developed he ought to wear a bra.
  11. Thoroughly agree with you Steve I the thmmie coought he was terrible against Sunderland and far from the committed Jose we're used to. It would have been easy for him to issue a statement. He's been playing the club, the supporters and with no regards for the stress he's be think either way, the club should be preparingen causing. We've not even had a pre or post match interview since he returned. I think whatever he decides, the club should be preparing for his replacement. What worries me is Les might see Stephen's in that role. We might have a really top class center back planned in the near future. VVD is someone Les will be only too ready to sell if some club come along with the right price.
  12. With just 4 months till the next window, we don't need to wait till next summer's window for money to be spent, for players to jump ship, for other clubs to attempt to steal our best players. And let us not forget Jose Fonte has yet to sign the new contract the club has offered. Could he possibly hold out to January and then go for a move. By that time he'll know what way our season is going, whether how we play, and whether it's worth his while staying We cant ignore the fact that we need a new and decent center back. Some may remember back in late March, April I was calling for us to find a centre back to replace him in the summer. I felt then, as many now also feel, he's not performing to the levels he was. The Premier League is overtaking his abilities, with him resorting to shirt tugging, arm holding and dubious tackles which previously weren't part of his game. The window has closed but the fall out and future has only just begun.
  13. Interesting article in this morning's Mirror on what happens in a players medical. Mentions some indications that can influence the type and length of contract offered to a player. Charlie Austin failed a medical at Hull 3 weeks before he signed for QPR, which raises questions about the situation even now as to him seemly appearing unfit in games and overweight. Perhaps he's unable to perform full training due to a problem we, as supporters don't know about.
  14. Time to start placing dates on when Boufal will be fit to be picked for the first team. This is not a signing ready to slot right into the team. How long did it take Clasie? I'm going for next February before Boufal is playing regularly for the first team. Have a hunch we'll announce Oxo on a loan at the last minute.
  15. Interesting realising Les Reed's weakness for selling any player if there is any chance of a profit. I wonder whether he doesn't spend most of his time at CASH Converters trying to raise funds by trading in our Academy players on loans. One of these days Uncle Les is going to be exposed as a very seedy, not so nice and above board gentlemen he tries so hard to portray. In other words, one day the 's hite is going to hit the fan/or gullible Saints fans.!!
  16. French Internatinitedonal and Liverpool central defender Sakho is available and would provide a good addition should Fonte depart today for United. One wonders whether Puel as manager would make Saints more appealing to the player than Stoke and West Brom who he turned down. .
  17. Subject closed. He's accepted a mega package to go to AC Milan.
  18. See former Saints Academy player Gboly Ariyibi, currently with Chesterfield is causing a lot of interest from the likes of Brentford, Barnsley and other clubs.
  19. I think when such injuries happen so soon after we sign players, questions need to be asked about the medical team who assess a player. Something somewhere is obviously right and these teams should be able to pinpoint potential weaknesses in order that coaches can program proper training regimes.
  20. How many clubs would have been ready 2 years ago, after his injury, to pay 21 millions for JRod? We come across as real suckers for being ready to sign the walking wounded. Is Spurs Ryan Mason still available?
  21. Arsenal are going to slaughter us. Going to take a lot to get us playing with confidence and efficiency in front of goal. No way should Rodriguez go out on loan. I only hope the club have one or two aces up their sleeve before Wednesday. Fonte was awful and what a waste if he's staying. Bertrand will improves things but is he going to remain injury free. No all has been revealed where his injury is concerned. Going to be a long haul and my initial confidence in Puel is fading. At times today I felt the players were deliberately out to show they aren't impressed with having to play how Puel instructs them. It's one thing the fans not being on board, but when the players seem to be likewise, it's pretty serious.
  22. Download Mobdro App. Over 3000 streams and channels. Wonderful App and top quality http://mobdrodownloadapp.com/
  23. Disgusted. How can we reward him for the crap performances he puts in most of the time. With the likes of Cedric I can't see the ambition or us even progressing. Add to that Yoshida covering for left and right back, crocked purchases and the slow Academy development, things are looking far from rosy.
  24. At the following link the Daily Mail gives a pretty good summary of the Boufal signing and other Saints comings and goings. Most of the other quotes eg Rodriguez loan, Cuco Martina situation, Fraser Förster, ins and outs, seem to come from Puel himself. Quite a bit to ponder over http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3758458/Lille-boss-says-Southampton-close-deal-Morocco-star-Sofiane-Boufal.html
  25. Talksport just said deal done. 5 year contract 21 million with 17 million up front
