  4. What ****es me off is that the first person to go to his aid was a stoke player while all his team mates stood around crying
  5. Was never a sending off just watched about 5 times. As the commentators said I think the ref was influenced by the injury. Fair play to Stokes number 6 (?) he was the first to go to his side and comfort him. Not nice to see an injury like that

  11. Im getting ready to post the Samaritans number in 23 mins! Because as all ways there will be a few who are beside themselves with anger and disappointment
  12. OK, Im sure some one dug something up that said they could not go into Administration while under a winding-up order from the high courts? Or is this ********?
  13. I might be wrong GM, but I thought all football related creditors get paid first in the case of football clubs going into admin so HMRC are down the list
  14. The only way I see PFC surviving now is that if Chanrai bank rolls the club for a few months. The administrator needs the money coming in, to pay wages etc etc. But as we all now there is no money, so how much does Chanrai put it? He was only in for £17m but thats only 3-4 months wages! I still cant see anyone doing it.
  15. “10 Saints go Marching In…” “If Saints ever get to Wembley, I’ll walk there......” – Graham Harris - 2009 http://www.justgiving.com/saintswembleywalk This evening I was contacted by a Saints Fan called Glynn, to ask if I would make people aware of an event on and just before Saints trip to Wembley. The event is for 10 Saints fans to walk to Wembley in time for the game on 28th March raising money and awareness for EVERYMAN. Everyman is a campaign that was launched by The Institute of Cancer Research in 1997 to create awareness and research into prostate and testicular Cancer. It is a great idea and great charity and I wish all the guys all the best and would urge on the users on here to at least chuck a few quid at them. SAINTS FANS IN 80 MILE MARATHON TO WEMBLEY Their boots were made for walking, and that’s just what 10 Southampton fans will do before the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final in an 80 mile charity trek to see their team at Wembley. To celebrate their club’s appearance in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final on March 28, a group of fans will take to the road in a football-crazy idea which could raise £5,000. Lifelong Saints fan Graham Harris came up with the energy sapping suggestion 12 months ago during a particularly barren run for his side. After witnessing a miserable home defeat, Graham vowed to walk to Wembley Stadium to see Southampton play, not thinking they would ever get there again. But being the funny old game that football is, his team enjoyed a renaissance this season and powered their way to the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, meaning he had to be true to his word. Graham and his nine friends will set-off from St Mary’s Stadium on Friday March 26 to Basingstoke, then from Basingstoke to Runnymede on Saturday, and a final push to Wembley on the morning of the big game. They are expected to arrive with 30 minutes to spare. He hopes to raise £5,000 for the Everyman charity and will walk up to 30 miles per day with his friends. Graham said: “I said I’d do this in 2009 when we were broke and were really struggling. It was a beer induced threat, but my son was with me and he was quick to remind me when we beat MK Dons to get to the final! A number of my friends have pledged to walk the route with me, and we are hoping to raise £5,000 for Everyman – a charity close to our hearts. “Preparation has gone really well from a fundraising perspective. It is just the physical side of things I need to start working on now!” Graham thanked the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy for its generosity in supplying tickets for the final, along with a match ball to keep as a souvenir. He said arch rivals Portsmouth had done something similar when they got to the FA Cup final in 2008. “Some Portsmouth fans did a similar trek and raised £4,000, so naturally, our target is £5,000 as we want to beat them! “We have already got £300 in the bank and hope that all Saints fans will get behind us. It should be fun, if not a bit tiring.” http://www.justgiving.com/saintswembleywalk

    Trouble?

Well sorry to say by all accounts it was serious and footie related, Pompey and Saints fans having verbals inside then after it went outside and some Pompey fan was quite seriously hurt, but I guess we will find out soon enough if it is bad

    Trouble?

just heard that Shamblehurst Barn in Hedge End was shut this evening due to a major incident after the game!
  22. and that is what will happen. The draw tomorrow or whenever will say who they should be playing. If they do go bang and out of business, then the team they are drawing will go onto the semi

    Trouble?

OK have I missed something? Yes there was going to small pockets trouble today but from what I heard nothing major took place so why is it that the echo and portsmouth news are headlining this and seem to be blaming each others fans? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/5006562.Violence_after_FA_Cup_clash/ http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/5006520.Football_fans_clash_as_FA_Cup_match_gets_underway/?ref=mr http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newshome/More-trouble-follows-Pompey39s-FA.6070541.jp http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/8514252.stm were our fans rampaging through Freeborn motors, ripping bits off cars to throw at the pompey fans? Or is this the press again doing a bit of constructive journalism
