I asked but he just sat down and told the girl that they are covered under DPA rules. Hence why I contacted the ICO. They were quite helpful and said I had a genuine complaint but in the first instance should contact the club and try and resolve it which I have done.
-
As I have said in my communication to the club, I appreciate the fact that there are people that abuse the system, but once the ticket office employee had seen the identification she could have simply entered the date of birth on the database and that would have been sufficient. There is no need for them to keep a copy, and after being told "its ok they will be locked up in a big box" the whole things becomes a joke.
-
So you telling me that on his record that is on the system they cant put his correct date of birth, and then tick a box to verified?
-
I called the ICO (information commisioners office) on Thursday, after they took a photo copy of my sons birth certificate? I was told that if it was for age verification only then there is no need to take a copy of an offical document and that I should ask for it to be destroyed. I have written to the club and am awating an answer

Im with Baj on this, and would stand in court and say I would do it again

my biggest gripe is the fact that I now have to pay £220 more for my son and I to remain in our seats or move to the chapel which I think we will end up doing. There is no reasoning it seems to me
-
ok can someone tell me then how the chapel and itchen are different prices for basically the same view? I really dont think they have thought about this at all!
-
Can someone confirm to me please that the whole of the chapel end is now classed as Family?
-
If my son and I want to sit in the same place I have an increase of £222!!! not happy!

I'm sorry to say that I have just heard that Jack White a big Saints Fan has passed away. Many of you will remember Jack as the white haired car park bloke the denied Kevin Keegan parking at the Dell, while he was working for sky and also for the funny pic that was in the Daily Sport of Jack stood outside the gates at the dell with 2 topless models. Even after he stopped working for the club he was always at the homes games and loved it So RIP Jack

if I tell you, do I get a mention in your book

Colin Cramb The only player to have played in ALL four divisions in England AND Scotland out of the 18 clubs he played for was only Saints and Notts County he didnt score for struggling on the third but he did have a crap hair cut

Howard will be on no more than what we are paying the likes of Lambert Fonte etc if we do a deal with Reading it will be along the lines of we pick up 50 % of his wages plus any additional bonus scheme. That way we get a decent player on a decent wage and reading lower their wages bill for a player who isn't palying. Everyone one is happy
-
Sorry if posted before but anyone heard about Brian Howard Set to be signed by us on loan till the end of season, with a permy move in place? Deal to be done this week
-

Mazz is currently living in Murcia in Spain, where he is enjoying life and doing a bit of building / property developement. After he quit football here in the UK the whole family moved to Cyprus, they then sold up and moved to Spain where also they had property. When his stay at SMS was bacially over through Dean Richards agent he was offered moves to Korea and Russia who were trying very much to get ex prem players there, the Korea move paid lots of $$$$$ so this after a vist for a week where they were treated like Royality they decided on that move, but as the article says the family didnt suit the life style. I still speak to Maz and he always looks out for our results and of course his beloved Sheffield United!

Just heard on Solent that Lallana is out for 6 months with serious ligament dmage to his knee? Do I hear that right?
-
WIN WIN for us, this means he is staying for definate till the end of the season. If we dont go up then he will go, even if we do go up it doesnt secure him staying but what it does do is is stabalise any negotiations going forward with clubs trying to purchase him.
-
LOL, jesus, go have a beer
-
Has he gone? If so good luck, as you have always been a pleasure to deal with and an asset to the club
-
Well worth it, our group of 6 done the 3 games for £70 deal! Although we have season tickets which have been passed for mates for the three games, to eat, drink, meet the players, sit in the posh seats well worth it! no queue for the food, no queue for the beer, no queue for the bookies so a great day. By my only thing to say bad as before the naan breads were cold and tough.
