But teams adapt to this , two banks of four and sit and let you play pretty passes in front of them if you have no cutting edge to your play . We have been guilty of this , more so when MP was in charge , some game games we had more than 70% possession and lost. The really good teams who play like we do (Brazil and Barcelona ) change the tempo of attack ....the approach play is calculated and considered , then as soon as they get around the opponents box the pace changes ...it throws opponents off . You have to have the players capable of doing this however .

Koeman did exactly the right thing yesterday declaring that the top 4 finish was never possible .... The recent results and the snatching in front of goal etc ......have been caused by the weight of expection increase and the players in there mind believing they could do it (which they still could ) but the pressure they have mentally put themselves under has effected our finishing badly . Defensively actually we are still good two worldys and a slip by targett account for the goals against . RK took that pressure away yesterday , in my opinion a great managers decision not negative because the results will dictate where we finish not the expectation . Really pleased with that performance in the second half especially , VW played Gerrard of the park, Tadic looks like an upgrade on AL , Clyne is a constant threat going forward but needs a right wing partner like he used to do with Punch and Bertrand looked good and up for it , he is not the bad player we all think and if you look a the players that kept him out of the Chelsea side that supports it. Pelle didnt look great but some of his movement is good , one bit when he cut inside clear very cleverly and ward prowse played it outside shows the potential when they all get up to speed . I remember watching Tino Aspilla years ago when he first played for newcastle and he was hopeless , four matches later he was unplayable . A Liverpool fan in the pub summed it up for me , look at Saints they have had there heart ripped out and they are outplaying us , what a great team he said .

She can call a extraordinary board meeting (like the one last Wednesday) and force a resolution at any time . She doesnt have to wait for year end . and as I said before corporation tax doesnt apply if she takes it as loan note repayment or equity dividend . It her toy !!!

e How do we know what Loan notes were issued against the company when the debt conversion was done last year ??? Loan notes can be withdrawn by the owner at any time . Also you are forgeting she is the sole owner therefore she can force any resolution she wishes to and may choose to pay an equity dividend of 70m to herself . In short money can be removed by a sole owner in many ways .

I can only think of one Loan player who was a success a Saints and that was a long time ago , I dont want the board to spend 90 million in two weeks but I would prefer we bought quality in the positions we need players . We dont need midfielders , we need two CBs a back up Goalkeeper and badly need some backup for Pelle , if he gets injured we have nothing as backup . Two weeks till the start of the season !

No they are not , if we get a player in who turns out to be world class because he has been scouted and found by us and purchased then at least he is an asset owned by the club....prime example is Lovren , if we had loaned him last year we wouldnt have received a 12 million profit on him. More to the point , buying a player shows a commitment to the club by the owner whereas loaning is just a way of filling the spaces whilst pocketing the 90 million she has pocketed . It doesnt invest in the future of the club .
